Great customer service

03/29/2019I am reducing my rating to 1 star simply because of the manager. Since we moved to the area and I have been frequenting this store because it is right up the street from my home, I have purchased at minimum 4 lottery scratchers ($20 or more each scratcher) only to find that the bottom has been already scratched to reveal the letters to determine if it is a winning ticket or not. I didnt say anything about the first one, but when it happened again, and again, and again, I refused to pay for them and asked for another ticket.After the 4th time it happened, I reported them to the Virginia Lottery. I went into the store today and Leslie, the manager, states she refuses to sell me anymore lottery scratchers because I reported her. Which is fine by me, and I informed her that if she and/or her employees had not been cheating and trying to find the winners and then pawning the losing tickets off on unsuspecting customers she would have never been reported and there would be no issue. I can - and will - take my business elsewhere. If you decide to go to this establishment to purchase any scratchers - check them before you pay for them.Earlier in 2019The cashiers are very friendly every time I go into this store; however, the managers attitude needs some adjustment. When we first moved to the area I stopped in the store to see if they needed additional cashiers (as I already work at another location) and she stated yes she was looking for cashiers so I told her I would think about it and get back to her. A few days later I noticed the store had been robbed. Less than a week later it was robbed again.I accidentally left my credit card at the store last night so I went in this morning to pick it up. I am very appreciative to the manager and staff for holding my card until I came to retrieve it.Ive noticed a new cashier the last two days Ive been in the store and knew she was training ... so when she didnt clear the lottery machine total of a $35 payout and then ran my numbers ... I didnt try to rip her off by saying she owed me $21 cash as the screen was telling her. I also had some lottery scratchers and a Cash 5 win that I was cashing out. The manager had disappeared into the office when this young lady was running my numbers, and she was confused as to how to do the payout for the Cash 5 and the scratchers on the register and I was simply attempting to tell her how to do so. The manager came back out and told her to do the higher amount (the scratchers) first and I attempted to tell her that doing so would cause her to do an additional transaction that was unnecessary and she snapped at me that it was her employee and she was training her the way she wanted her trained. Fine by me miss - I was just attempting to help a fellow Fasmart employee out. If thats how you speak to employees; however, or customers for that matter you need not worry about me coming to help out at your store thats for sure.If you were so concerned about training her properly then you would have been out at the register with her the entire time instead of letting her sink or swim and try to figure things out until you did show back up to help her.I give the employees a 5-star rating; the store a 3-star rating (hot dog buns have been empty or extremely hard when Ive gone in on several occasions) but has always been neat and tidy for the most part; and the management gets a 2-star rating due to attitude. If my opinion changes on this particular store, I will update my review as necessary.

Seriously the cleanest gas station bathroom Ive ever seen.. 10/10 would pee again.

The workers are rude and curse in front of children. New management needed.
