If youre looking for a good place to drink good beer look no further. Came here today and really enjoyed our experience there. They have a lot of tvs to watch sports while drinking good beer. Make sure to stop in and check it out!!!!

There was a beer for every taste, and the atmosphere outside on the patio was great! The music they played had something for each generation at the table. We all enjoyed the beer cheese, and chips as well. My dad, who usually stays away from dips like that, loved it! We will be back for the pulled pork sliders. They looked awesome. The pretzel looked like a decent size as well. Super friendly staff as well!The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was because I am big on reducing plastic waste. Their menu points out their plastic consumption and puts the responsibility on the customer to purchase a pint glass (which they don’t give a price on) to reduce plastic usage. I’m not sure if this is a new covid thing, but it just rubbed me the wrong way to have the owners say they want to reduce waste as much as possible but then serve everything in single-use plastic. That is truly the only thing that rubbed me the wrong way. It seems like it would be more cost-effective and environmentally friendly to say if your beer pint disappears, we will tack it on to your bill afterward then serve it all in plastic. I’m sure there are rules about back charging, but I know patrons stealing branded pint glasses are a significant concern/expense for breweries.

Such a cute spot. Enjoyed the beers I tried and this pretzel and beer cheese was to die for. It actually was some bomb beer cheese.

Absolutely one of my favorite places on the island. Staff is always friendly and helpful and educated on all their beers. Usually come at least 4-5 times during our week long stays.

Enjoyed lunch on the patio - lunchables for the kids, giant pretzel & buffalo dip for us. Sampled 8 different beers across 2 flights and liked them all. Down-selected two 6-packs (Tropical Lager, Session IPA) to take back home to KY, plus a hat. Disappointed to discover the TL was skunked and had to be thrown out and the IPA was on the flatter side. All in all, would recommend to others.

We visited on 8/18/20 during our Anniversary trip. We sat outside as the inside was closed due to Covid-19 precautions. The staff was nice and welcoming. We ordered a large soft pretzel with cheese & mustard and sampled some beer. The beers that I selected were good! It was a great experience and nice thing to do while we vacationed on the island. We would visit again if and when we return!

Another brewery nestled away from the hustle-and-bustle of Hilton Head Island, SC...Worth the time taken to get here and find it. Probably the smaller of the two breweries on the island, it was a little more personable and certainly the local enjoyed the outdoor seating more than small offering which was provided inside.I had their Mexican Lager and it was one of the better I have had in quite some time if not ever. The place is definitely a must stop if you´re in the mood for some friendly conversation and chillin-type vibe...

An unexpected surprise. Just had a few hours to spare, and dropped in with no planning. The BBQ, the brisket, was exceptional. Exceptional. The beer, Im from San Diego (think of all the outstanding breweries from San Diego), so its hard to compare, bit it did. Very favorably. We had their lager, the Hef and one of the IPAs, and all three were top notch. This place is well.worth.your.visit.

Great brewery amazing people and service. Nice little patio outside. Great beer and good food. Definitely worth a visit. If you don’t plan to stay long they also have to go beers (cans and growlers) so no excuses not to stop by.Food menu is pretty much bbq bar food - bbq wings, ribs, sandwiches and sliders.Fairly priced in beer and food. Can get as small as 4oz, 8oz or 16oz. They don’t have flights but you can definitely do 4oz pours which they recommend just as I recommend you try this place.

Awesome brewery atmosphere with really tasty beers! We were helped by Morgan who really took good care of us and was very pleasant to talk with. There was also an amazing patio with TVs and plenty of seating. We ordered a few different beers although our favorites were the J Street IPA, Tropical Lager, and the Gose sour. You really can’t go wrong with any of their selections and they even had a fridge full of 6 packs to buy and take home your favorites. Can’t wait to go back!

This is absolutely the best brewery on Hilton Head! Stop in, see Paul and have a 1Eye IPA, and try all the other wonderful beers on tap. Thanks for a wonderful tasting experience!

Great beer flight! Husband had a chance to speak to a brewer, whom answered many of his questions. Sour was flavorful without being overly sour. Perfect Kolsch! Ive been to Cologne and drank many a Kolsch.

Surprisingly great beer. We didnt have very high expectations for this place while visiting the island but we were really in the mood for craft, draft beer. We were pleasantly surprised! The beer is good and the atmosphere is classic brewery which is great.

Paul and Dawn are amazing. Make you feel like you are at your own neighborhood bar. Beer is good also.

Hubby and I are staying 5 days on HHI and we love a good IPA and this was a 5 minute drive from where we were staying. The beers and food are 5 stars. The seating outside was nice and they offer ice cold water outside.The reason why the 4 stars is due to the odd mix of soul music they were playing today. My husband and I both agreed if it were a better mix of music, we would have stayed longer and had more beer. When you play Marvin Gaye, Gladis Knight and the Pips, Bee Gees, you are not catering to the average person in their 20-50s that are there. I would suggest to play more of rock music for the average customer that is there.

Really fun brewery with tasty beers and a cool vibe! With indoor and outdoor seating, you can enjoy this place year round. Friendly staff, outstanding variety of beers, and a pretty convenient location from lots of places on the island. Be sure and check out their season/rotating brews - very impressive!!

This mac and cheese was the bomb!! Yummy! Our server (man with locs) was patient and friendly. Much respect to them for not doing flights due to the plastic waste. 🙏🏽 The IPA I had was good. 👌🏽

Great local beer, friendly service. The IPAs and session ale were fantastic. Our server Jenny went above and beyond and the food from the retired pig was excellent. Smaller operation, so be a tad patient, but the short wait is well worth it

Wow this place is off of the beaten path and a MUST DO when on Hilton Head Island. The wings are the BEST Ive had in more than a decade. Truly smoked on real smokers and the flavor profile is amazing. The MICRO BREWS on tap are great. Order the flask and try them all. Great service and the guys at the bar are super friendly and ready to serve. Over 15 flat screen TVs outdoor/indoor seating, clean restrooms. They will be at the HHI wing competition this Saturday so go visit there tent and tell them Sam from Michigan sent you!

Great spot for flights and food. Above average number of Lager styles available if thats your thing. Perfect for casual vacation craft experience but might still have something for more seasoned craft beer drinkers as well (try their mainstay DIPA)

Dec. 2020: Top notch! Hilton Head is a friendly, welcoming Brewery, even during all this COVID madness, and we loved that about our stop there. What was even easier to love was their Turkey and their Pork sliders and their potato salad. The two beers we tried (Ol Man Porter and J Street IPA) were excellent and well deserving of our 4.0 rating on untapped. We visit breweries whenever/wherever we can and weve learned that you find some of the best breweries in the most unexpected places. Hilton Head Brewing is one of those places for us and we have added it to our very short list of Our Favorite Breweries (Along with our home state favorite, Dogfish Head, of course).

Great beer, fun people, and the food is much better than your average brewery fare. HH has needed this...

Great beer and the Bavarian pretzel was awesome!

Solid beer. To be honest though, grill master >> beer master! The smoked turkey sliders were the hook to bring me back. I still dream of that turkey. My only criticism: The webmaster needs to keep the beer list up to date online. We almost took a pass because the site didnt list any dark beers. In fact, they have some excellent dark beers. If I lived in the area, this would be my haunt.

Great outdoor patio and decent beers. The jalapeno was pleasantly surprising.

Solid regular brews. Loved the lemonade radler. Ate the Mac and Cheese topped with pulled pork. It was delicious! Was told they do the BBQ on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Plan ahead if youre hungry

Decided to try this place for a “last night” vacation dinner & beer since we love craft beer and it kept popping up on our searches. We were excited to try the BBQ & a few local beers which we usually get in flights. First, no flights, only solo plastic mini-cups which they try to discourage by citing the environment. That’s fine, but I’ve never been to a brewery that didn’t offer flights of some kind, then served their beer in a cheap plastic cup. We tried 4 different beers and they were just okay. I’ve had better and wasn’t inclined to order a pint. Maybe it was the cup? Not having a pint was fine because they had NO food anyway. Said they ran out & only had pretzels. Sorry, but how do run out of food? A little puzzling to say the least. We had 2 over-priced pretzels, paid the bill, then left. All in all, it was just meh and a bit disappointing.

I lived on Hilton Head for over four years and let me tell you that this Brewery was my favorite hidden gem. From the beers to the people who worked there, it was always a great time. While visiting some friends this week I found out that my favorite bartender, Pat, no longer worked there. No matter who you were, if you stayed for 10 beers or just one, Pat always made sure you had the best time. I stopped by for a beer every weekend and sometimes even during the week when I knew he was working. He always had strangers engaging in conversations and swapping stories. One of my favorite things about our small island was getting to know all the locals, whether you had just moved there or you were just visiting for the week, the bartenders and serves made you feel like family! I worked as a kayak guide on the island and I would always send my tours to grab a cold beer after and told them to ask for Pat. The reason for the 2-stars is because even though their beer is great, the other bartenders are not the same. I know they only have two or three other workers but from my experience, they have always been rude and uninviting, especially the girl. Pat and Derrick are the only bartenders that get to know their patrons. Sad to say that I will no longer be returning to my favorite brewery whenever I am in town and will not be recommending it. Might as well skip the cold welcome and grab some of their beer at the grocery store.

Beer flights are inexpensive and the beers are excellent. Get the bavarian pretzel and binge on the cheese! Good tunes playing the whole time.

This is a must stop at for anyone visiting the Island or locals who haven’t given it a try yet. On top of having a fantastic draft selection with something for everybeer drinker, a great atmosphere inside and out, they also have the best staff I think I’ve ever experienced. We were only down for a few days and after it being our first stop we made sure to visit again before leaving almost solely because of Paul. On our second trip Gilbert was wonderful as well, but Paul is one of those guys who makes you feel like you’re in his living room with him and he’s gonna become your best bud while making sure you’re never without a drink or a snack. Having a beer and chatting him up will be part of every HHI trip I take for as long as he’s behind the bar.

This is a fantastic little taproom with great special beers and a wonderful laid back atmosphere. Just a great place to grab a pint or fill a growler. The brewer loves IPA, so try their IPAs and experimental brews. The brewpub near Sea Pines Greenwood Gate is closed. They have expanded their hours at the brewpub and are open every day except Monday.

Great local brews.Stop here before you board youre flight home to numb the pain of leaving vacation!

I feel bad because these folks arent equipped/prepared to handle crowds on a rainy day in the summer. Ive had their beers before and their tropical lager is tasty. Tried the folly3x NE IPA(attached) and although tastes similar to an NE IPA, certainly doesnt look the part whatsoever (so why force the style). Kolsch had a slight off taste which was disappointing.I will however give them another chance and come back on a non rainy day

We went to try the place because they recommended us but apparently they had a bad day. The place is nice, but the attention from the entrance was horrible. I really wish them well!

My husband and I had a very pleasant time at Hilton Head Brewery! Food, beer and atmosphere were great! Our waitress Jasmyn was so so helpful and fun to visit with. We had never been to Hilton Head and she wrote a list of recommendations for dining. Will definitely be coming back!

Been visiting for 30 years and cant believe its taken me this long to visit. Honestly didnt think the beer was good enough. Welp the bbq is legit, as is all carolina bbq but the beer offerings were more extensive than I anticipated. Wow the banana bread in a glass is top tier. Love it!

Bartender or Waiter should not be in the customer service industry. Walked in and stood around until I finally had to say hello to him and we were greated with an attitude that he was all alone and didnt want to be bothered. So we left. Dont need to spend money at a place that cant be bothered to at least welcome you to there establishment. Plenty of other breweries in the area. Went to Southern Barrel and they were great. Very nice bartender/waitress and great beers and great food also.

Wanted to try this place out and what a mistake... first off the waitress yelled out to us where the entrance was, but in a bad way. Why she works in a place that deals directly with customers Ill never know. To top it off, the bartender seemed like we were bothering him and wasnt friendly what so ever. Their website is a year old because they only have chips and dips, not sliders and other foods.

Staff wore masks and were nice. The wings and smoked turkey sandwich were great! Try the cran-gose if they have it on tap.

Great, friendly service. Limited indoor seating with quite a few tables outside (with a parking lot view). Tried samples of several beers and ended up with the Truth IPL and Folly 3X DIPA. Both were delicious! Definitely worth dropping in for a brew or two! Next time wed like to try out the barbecue...

We made a quick stop for a couple of beers to try this place out, with our boys in tow. Great service all around with a wide selection of beers to try out. Very accommodating staff. My husband felt bad he was not thinking straight (maybe it was the heat...or beer) and only tipped 10%. Hopefully this review makes up for part of that! Well try to make it back again soon!

The folks working really did everything they could to cater to us. They figured out a place for us to sit that was distanced. They were so flexible and we really appreciated their willingness to help. The food and beer was excellent. The pretzel and brisket sliders were delicious. It was the perfect place to hang out while it rained at the beach.

Super friendly staff. Everyone treats you like family. They have a very nice covered outdoor area, with multiple tvs. Beers are crushable. Exactly what you want from beachy brewery. I highly, highly recommend it.

We visited a year ago and thought it was pretty good. No so tonight. The beer was okay, but they arent even trying on the food side. The food was simply not good. I get coronavirus has changed things, but they should stop serving food until they can do it right. We wont be returning.

Really wanted to like and support local brewery, however:Crowler prices are exorbitant. Charging $3 just for the can, plus fill price leave you around $20 for 32oz. I really wanted to support, but prices will have me going elsewhere for a craft brew.

Very nice place. We had to sit outside due to the covid 19 but it was spaced out perfectly. Staff were very friendly and of course the beer was great. If you are in HHI it would be a good local place to go.

Don’t know where the 1-2 star reviews are coming from in the past week or two. I’m an island resident, and can speak to the quality of beer, food and service at this brewery.Apparently, we’re forgetting that we are in the middle of a pandemic, and to be blunt, we’re lucky they’re open at all. God forbid you have to wait a little longer for service. Get over yourselves, and if you can’t understand that, then I’d invite you to check out the other options on the island. Oh....there aren’t any!!!Good luck, and wear your f*cking mask, or stay off my island!
