They tell you what you need and they give you (in my experience) a very reasonable price. Then you can make the decision. I love it. I know you can go in there and they will shoot straight!

AMAZING SERVICE!! they will NEVER do you wrong. They are a good honest family owned and operated company. They care FAR more about their good name and community image than money, So they will NEVER rip you off. If anything they are so fair on price many times i leave feeling I didnt pay enough. My sister is a single mother and needed to get some work done and George and Maria actually went over and above what she was doing just to make sure her and her baby girl would be driving around in a safe car! Wanted to charge 800.00 plus to change the distributor. Knew it was to much so had it towed to my old place in clearwater. Even with towing it was 300.00 less. I just moved to the area and was hoping to use local. Won’t be going back.

Was charged $1200 in my 3 visits within the past 2 months because my car wasnt pulling coolant into the radiator and my AC was not working. They replaced the radiator, spark plugs, and bypassed my heater. I picked up my car on Friday (Holiday Weekend and I work at a Restaurant) My AC was still blowing hot air, so brought it back Tuesday. Now im being told that my head gasket is blown and they had no way of knowing. I google blown head gasket and my car had all the symptoms that they said weren’t warning signs. Complained to the front desk manager and he decided to argue to my step father. REFUND REQUESTED.

Honesty is def true with this mechanic. Fair prices too. They always fix my issues. I recommend these guys for major issues such as cv axles or small like new tires.

I started coming here when I first moved down. I had a nail in my tire and ever since then, they are the only mechanics I go to. Allan is wonderful and super knowledgeable. My air conditioning broke in my civic one summer, and he was honest. He could not fix it and referred me to the Honda Dealership. Who does that?? I’ve gotten new tires here, get all my oil changes, and whenever my tire light comes on, they deal with it. Their prices are reasonable and they are the only mechanics I trust. My parents go to them, and if anyone needs a mechanic-they are the ones I refer to. You won’t find any better mechanics around here. This is the real deal. Thanks Allan and George!! I have never been disappointed with service.

I picked up a car there my friend has been paying them to store. While in there possession it was strip of some vital parts including the front suspension bar being disconnected and brakes severed. They gave me a hot shot and tried to hurry me on my way. They wanted it gone and didnt care if they killed me too. I will see a lawyer after the holidays. And i will post pictures of what they did on here. Someone is in big trouble.

Great place to have your car fixed. Friendly, no B.S., and very reasonable prices. I used to take my car to the Goodyear Service Center in the Tarpon Mall. They put on a good act, unfortunately it took me a while to realize that not only were their charges excessive, they were ripping me off. I wish I had gone to Five Star Auto years ago.

I was at Karl Flammer Ford shopping for used cars. I took a used Hyundai Sonata for a test drive. On the drive, I stopped at a mechanic to have the car inspected. It handled well and I liked it. I stopped by Five Star Automotive asking for an inspection. After 15 minutes a gentleman named Alan inspected the car and gave me a quick overview. After inspecting the Sonata, Alan let me know the car had no issues and ran well. He also advised that I look to change a couple parts over the next two years or so due to wear, but even with this assessment, the car ran smoothly and did not need anything.Im glad I stopped here and I appreciate the quality service, particularly the straight forwardness of Alan and his crew. In my judgement the customer service and quality individuals at Five Star Automotive make this place trustworthy. I strongly recommend people go there.

I was having trouble with my car and asked the Ford dealership about it, since I was there for an oil change. They quoted me about $2000. Im in Trinity Business Association with George so I went to 5 Star Auto for an estimate and he quoted me more than $1500 less. They fixed my car and were very courteous and honest.

Took my car to 5 Star Auto and for the first time ever, the bill was lower than the estimate. They gave me the estimated cost of the repair and when they were done they told me it wasnt as bad as they thought, and the price bill was half what they quoted me. That was on my 3rd visit to them and will definitely be coming back again!

I will never take my vehicles anywhere else! I have taken all of my cars here and they have done excellent work. The estimates have been spot on and the problem was fixed right the first time.

George and his tech/mechanics do what is needed and dont try to up sale you for everything imaginable. Very fair prices, timely completion and no return visits to fix the fix either. George has all my families business.

ReallyWent there they are so over priced. Which they hear a lot and they seem not to care.Got some brake work done. As soon as i pulled away the brake light turned on.I drove it right back was told it could not be looked at today. Called for the next 4 days hearing the same thing. What was really being said is i got your money leave me alone. Still to this day he refuses to honor warranty that he gives. Saying that he never touched the part of my brakes that is broken. When you replace everything from the hub out YES you have to touch every part of the brakes. All the car Needed was blown out but he ways to LAZY to do a 5 minute job or honor his asinine 5 STAR lies. All and i forgot to say he called me a stupid person and he feels bad for me that i have a college degree. Is this not where 5 star drop outs get there moneyfrom smarter College grads like myself.Worst ever

I just want everyone to know this is the place to bring your car i towed my car in to get checked out it was a tranny issue and they realy dont work on them but was willing to diagnose it for me well i stopped in the next morning and they were already on top of it and the bad news was the tranny is no good so i asked what do i owe them and i was told dont mention it buddy glad we could help even tho they couldnt repair it real honest guys to spend there time and not ask for a penny thank u 5star thats just what u are in my book

Yeah unfortunately my incident here was completely uncalled for and should of been handled more professional by the owner George. They hold that sign Honest Mechanic sign on Alt 19 in Holiday and it should say dishonest!! Monday, brought my car for a simple oil change. Left the car in the parking lot because the bays were full. I get a call half hour later that they could not get into the car? I am thinking they didnt open it right or something so I said will see when I get there.Well the whole handle is busted off? To try and cover their mistake, the owner (screaming at me like a mad man) said I brought it in broke??? He is very rude. I said I think your mechanic is not telling you the truth because it was not broke when I brought it in? He said To bad and dont ever come here again. Congrats you got yourself a free oil change...Great business ethnic. Contacting my lawyer today and made a police report with Pasco County so they know these people are dishonest. This could of been solved a much nicer way then screaming at me and acting like I was the dishonest one. The guy was literally screaming in the phone that I was dishonest and brought it in broke.We use these people for our business trucks, give them tons of business. I have used him for oil changes and propane fills many many time. Not any more. Karma will get you in the end Five Star Automobile. Contacting BBB and Angies List also and making a formal complaint and passing out the info to my 2000 or so Facebook friends that live in this area. And adding this review to every place I can find. Sorry....something so small could of been solved so easily. All you had to do is act like a professional business man. We could of worked it out. I am a reasonable and honest woman.So he said the oil change was free and never come back here? After I offered to pay? Doesnt that admit GUILT right then and there?? Yes it does...It was not broke when brought in. Your mechanic pulled on it too hard. Maybe in a rush? Maybe fell backwards holding it? Who knows. Going to cost me $200 for the keyless entry handle and who knows how much in labor to get it fixed.I hope he does not talk to his wife or any other woman the way he spoke to me. Why do some people think they can talk this way and just be outright obnoxious?
