Customer service is good. I was greeted and asked by 2 different employees if I needed help finding anything. Store continues to be hard to maneuver around it due to crowding of shelving and items..seems extremely unorganized.

Very bad experience.. no respect for customers. I had an appointment, I called the store when I was heading to there, and I was shocked to know that my appointment was canceled without any notice. Then they made a new appointment at 9 am. I went there exactly at 9 and waited for 15 minutes to receive the service. The manager promised to do a discount but when I came to the cashier, she tried to deny that she promised for a discount.. really disappointing experience!!

Happen to be in the area and stopped in the see if I could get my eyebrows waxed. Amori at the Benefit counter said she could take me right then. I was super nervous (it had legit been 2 years or so) and I looked like a wooly mammoth.Amori was super friendly and chatty, which eased some of the nervousness and let me tell you! I walked outta there looking like a whole new person. She completely reshaped my brows and gave them a good (but not unnatural or funky looking) arch. I forgot what it felt like to have a clean face.I will absolutely drive a few miles out of my way to see her again!

Received a haircut that was choppy around the face and left my ends too full which resulted in a heavy and flippy look. Unimpressed and disappointed.

Worst experience ever...Had an appointment to get highlights, my appointment was with Wendy (salon store manager). I took a picture to help explain what I wanted. Initially she appeared to be skilled, however, she had know idea about highlights, color, or how to do a partial highlight with high and low lights. Spent 3 1/2 hours and she was unable to give me highlights. Used 3 different shades of toners in my hair and I left without ANY highlights. Wendy is not the stylist to do your color, or highlights, she is not skilled in this area and became very upset when I said I was not happy, she tried to tell me that I asked for what she did. I showed her a picture and she pretended to know what she was doing. Ended up having to speak with another store manager. I’m still not happy with the resolve they came up with. Don’t make an appointment unless you see good reviews for stylist at this store.

Called Ulta to find out if they had shampoo in stock. Spent the next 15 minutes on hold. The girl never picked up my phone call again. Very annoyed. I got to the store. Told the cashier what happened. She said she was sorry. Thats not good enough. Luckily they had my shampoo or I would have raised holy hell!!!

Carries both high priced products, and lower priced products to meet both demands of the makeup community. They also tend to stock all of the products that are in high demand, because I can generally find what I want when I go. There have only been a few times in which they are sold out of the products that I am looking for.

I love Ulta, there is always great sales going on, I buy all my shampoo and conditioner here. The sales people are very helpful.

Had my first Balayage with Sarah yesterday. She is one of the best hair stylists I have ever seen. I have very curly hair and have struggled over the years to find someone that understands how to cut and style my hair. Usually I leave a salon with flat curls, few layers, and wet hair. Sarah took the time to study my curl pattern and highlight individual pieces that would look good straight or curly. She knew what I meant when I asked for layers. My hair is now more defined and curlier than it has been in years.

If you’re going to get your hair done I HIGHLY recommend Sean. He does an amazing job and triple checks his work. He’s sweet and actually holds a conversation with you.

I went to Ulta salon to do my hair. I got the hair cut and highlight. Sarah did an awesome job! She knew exactly what I need and what I want, very knowledgeable. I feel like a new person with new hair, loved it!!! Definitely recommend her!

I’m growing my hair out and she didn’t do a full cut, but a really great hairdresser! For first time clients they were offering 20 percent off!

No one said anything when i came in the door. I was in the store for 20 minutes looking for my product and no one came to ask if i needed help or anything. It was like i was invisible. It was a 15min. After opening and wasnt super busy. It will be some time before i go back.

Wow people here have no idea about customer service. Surprised by the management here and will definitely advise people to not use this salon. Worst job ever and would not and could not fix coloring.

I love coming in to check out different makeup styles, they definitely have something for every occasion...but everyone who works there is SO rude-especially in the makeup section. I went in there today to look for a certain eyeshadow, they didn’t have it- no big deal. The heavyset woman with the orange hair in the makeup section was up my a** constantly asking me condescending questions, basically accusing me of being there to strictly shoplift! I’m sorry, if you don’t have the product I’m looking for you are not going to pressure me into buying 40$ mascara or lipstick or whatever, but just because I didn’t plan on buying anything didn’t mean I couldn’t look around at the new products that had come in since the last time I went there. Every time I come here I have the same experience with rude employees, I don’t know why I thought today would be any different. Maybe because I’m young, have unnaturally colored hair and tattoos, and am obviously not loaded with cash??? Who knows. Either way, it seems like profiling and it’s uncalled for. A lot of people my age seem to share this experience every time they enter the store.A friend of mine was in the store with me, and had picked up an eyeliner she was considering purchasing to wear for a concert we are going to tomorrow night. She wanted to look for a hair brush while we were there as well. She walked away from the makeup section to look at the hair stuff, and the heavyset makeup woman quickly stopped her and rudely said she would “put that makeup back for her” because apparently you can’t walk around the store freely with items you wish to purchase? Who knew! I can tell you what, they sure as hell weren’t getting any money from either of us today and they never will. Customer service isn’t dead, I don’t care if you wear 300$ foundation and think you’re all that, have some respect for other people.By the way- tone your hair.

I like to wait a couple days after a haircut to see if it really is as good as it seems because I have no skills when it comes to recreating what happens in the salon. Its been 3 days, and I have to say I am so pleased with my haircut. Megan did a wonderful job. She listened to what I wanted, but somehow did it better than I had envisioned. My hair is simple and straight. I wanted a couple inches off the bottom to clean up the split ends, and maybe some layers so its not a blunt edge. She managed to make my hair look healthy and nice without the guess who got a haircut awkwardness that usually lasts for a couple weeks after the cut. On top of that, she was friendly and a kind and made the visit enjoyable.I also come here for the occasional cosmetics purchase (Im no whiz at that either), and the staff are generally more pleasant and willing to help than other Ultas Ive visited in NC, VA, and DC. Parking is never and issue, and I able to get in, get what I need, and get out in a reasonable amount of time.

Ulta in Holly Springs provides the best customer service! I was that annoying customer that showed up right as the store was locking up, but the sweet lady that was closing allowed me to come in because I knew what I wanted. Once in the store, I couldnt find the product I wanted and she informed me that they were sold out. Instead of letting me leave without eyeliner, she quickly recommended another brand. I love the new eyeliner and I love Ulta even more so because of this sakes associate. Thank you so much for the awesome service!

Holly Springs... has the best service! The people there are amazing, they pay attention to what you are saying without making you feel like they have better things to do! I know this should be a standard, but is not. Trust me... Holly Springs Ulta.

Worst experience ever.. they Totally ruined my hair. Wendy has no idea what she is doing and on top of that she has a terrible attitude. They charged me $60 for a glaze of a color I didn’t ask for. I came out with my hair almost blue. It was sooo dark it’s been imposible to lighten up. They asked me to come back the next day to fix it.. but they made worst and on top of that they wanted more money.. they are clueless and sooo unprofessional.

Everyone who works here has a bad attitude. They don’t seem to like each other in the store, and are happy to share drama that is going on between the employees. They do not seem to want to help you. I have tried to give multiple chances, even after they gave me second-degree burns at the brow bar. After my experience today, I will not be shopping again

Inexperienced and incompetent staff. Low stock on shelves. Unaware of the latest sales emails that Ulta sends out. The sales price did not ring up at the register and I was told to wait for manager to come to fix price in the system but that it was going to be a minute because she was signing for a delivery in back. So I stood there waiting........and waiting......really?! Walked out... there are 2 other Ultas easily accessible in the area, will skip this one from now on.

Sarah is the absolute best! Came in with over processed blonde and left with gorgeous brunette fading into blonde. I’ve never been happier with my hair color. Ask for Sarah and watch her work magic on your hair!

Had a make up trial there. The girl was nice but the make up looked bad. As soon as I got to the car I could see all the imperfections and makeup lines. Their receptionist also told me the trial would be free and then charged me $45 and then asked for a tip. She was rude and condescending.

All of the employees are very well-versed in each of the product lines. They do a good job of balancing prestige suggestions with typical drugstore beauty offerings.

I recently moved to the Holly Springs area from Pennsylvania. I used to be a stylist myself since 2002 and a couple of years ago I made a career change. I have had the same person do my hair since her and I went to beauty school together...so I was EXTREMELY nervous about going to a strange place where I didnt know the quality of their work. I met Regina in the Ulta salon and after a few minutes of talking about what I wanted and her relating her thoughts...I thought...its now or never, as I was long over due for a haircut. Well it has since been about a week since I had it done. I have checked it over and over again looking for any inconsistencies (I am extremely hard to please and expect perfection when it comes to my hair) and Im pleased to say, I havent found one thing wrong with it. Its even, the layers beautifully, looks good with my natural wave or straight. Well done Regina!!! I will be back!

The ladies here are so nice compared to the Apex location. There isnt always someone up front and Ive had to wait a few times to be rung out when it wasnt busy and I was disappointed by that. They always had a friendly demeanor though when I had to flag someone down.

I only am giving four stars for Amory who does eyebrows! You will not find a better person in the area who works at an Ulta to do your brows! The salon is HORRIBLE (at least the lady I had was) .. it was an older lady and all she did was tell me how dry my hair was and how the color was bad. DUH, isnt that why im at the salon? So I would NOT suggest salon. They also are HORRIBLE at coming back to the phone. I swear I have called over 20 times and every time they put me on hold for more than 10 minutes. It is ridiculous.

The last few times Ive been here, they havent done what Ive asked. I asked them to bleach my hair, they refused once I came in after I made the appointment. Same with the haircuts, they refused to do what I asked (how I wanted it).

Skip this salonI have heavily highlighted hair with about 2 inches of medium brown roots and I asked to get the root color blended into my blonde to get that balayage look. The stylist acted like she knew exactly what I was saying so I felt comfortable. About half way through her coloring my hair I asked if she was now adding the dark color (she had been lightening my hair after she convinced me it needed to done at the ends- I thought it was light enough) and she said no Im not adding any dark and that she would tone my hair at the end and it would blend my root color. That confused me but since I dont do hair, I assumed she knew what she was talking about... but no.I walked out with my ends feeling dry and damaged (despite a 2 inch cut) and still have dark roots not blended AT ALL. So I just spent all that money and still look like I need to get my hair colored. VERY disappointed.

I was at this store today and the people who work there are SO rude! I went in to get an Anastasia Beverly Hills palette after not being about to find the Too Faced palette I wanted and they were super nosy! Im assuming they thought I was shoplifting because right after one woman asked me if I needed help another woman was RIGHT NEXT TO ME WATCHING THE CONVERSATION AND A MINUTE LATER ASKED THE SAME QUESTION! Maybe Im overthinking things but every time im there I feel so uncomfortable and judged, Im constantly stared at and it feels so uncomfortable. However, the woman at the cash register was so sweet and pretty! First nice person Ive seen there.

Waaay over priced for what you get. High pressure from the hair salon to buy beauty products. No customer service. And you have to wait in line upfront for 15-20 minutes to checkout. No atmosphere. Very loud. And restrooms are disgusting

I went in to check out their prices for the hair salon. I waited five minutes at the counter before anyone even looked in my direction. Eventually, a blonde woman (the assistant salon manager, cant remember her name) came over and I asked her about my options for hair color. She scoffed at me and told me what I wanted wasnt as easy as it sounded and most people expect it to be. I told her I had plenty of experience at salons and knew what to expect. She recommended bleaching the ends and I said I didnt want to damage my hair. Then she exclaimed wow your hair is really dry with a grimace on her face and tried selling me some expensive product.You just lost a potential client with your rude demeanor and unhelpful attitude.

All of the workers who work in the makeup section are all extremely rude. First of all they follow you around the store the entire time and ask u every five seconds if you need help and acting like you are a criminal and are going to steal something, its so distracting I cant even remember what I came in there to buy because they are stalking me the whole time. Secondly when you do finally ask them a question its always a snobby remark or a comment thats not helpful at all, they talk to you like youre dumb especially if you come in with no makeup on then they dont even acknowledge you. They always give a hard time about using coupons, they never tell you about the free samples, and they people who work at the makeup section are just out right rude. I dread going in there every time knowing this is what I have to deal with, for now on Im going to waste my day driving 20 minutes further away to a different Ulta just so I dont have to deal with the bitchy workers at this Ulta.
