The efficiency, the personal attention, the smooth transition from exam to prescription to frame selection was really wonderful. The exam was so thorough and fully explained throughout the process. My new glasses were ready in one hour! And, they are comfortable and good looking! Every detail of the process led to a very positive and affordable conclusion. I am a senior. I just didnt think it could be so easy and satisfying!
I love that I can get my exam and my glasses at the same store. I also love that this store is located in the mall, so I can get several things done in one trip. This store is also VERY clean and orderly which makes me feel a lot more comfortable with regards to my health. I recently had an eye exam that was very thorough and he even explained things to keep in mind for the future. After the exam, I was able to get a new set of eye glasses very easily and not as expensive as I thought it was going to be. They were also friendly and very helpful. The staff was absolutely awesome! Dr Maye (spelling) was extremely thorough and informative. She even recommended the proper eye stood for my dry eye issue. John, was totally helpful in recommending the Oakley frames and lenses and walked me through the selection for progressive lenses with transition instead of buying a pair of prescription sunglasses. I recommended my girlfriend and her two daughters to make an appointment after my solid experience. I believe they will be delighted with your customer service!
A mistake was made by BC/BS. Staff phoned insurance and corrected this insurance related error. Awesome service today. Seriously, I was surprised by how professional the team is. The office was bus too!Good service seems hard to come by these days. Today was excellent.
I purchased a pair of glasses in December of 28 of 2020 picked them up on the new year. They were great 3 months later I can barely see out of them. Paid over 600.00 for them. Im very disappointed I paid for scratch resistance and translucent lens. I try to keep them clean but now I cant even see out of them.i hope someone will respond to this but I feel that these glasses are terrible. I had my last pair for 2 years and not a big problem.

My husband and I had come here to get an eye exam and glasses. First off let me start off that my husband had been trying to get an eye exam through his doctor. Being the time we live in, nearly impossible.. at least the doctor he goes to. Being a somewhat new glasses wearer going on year 4 we googled LensCrafters. Excited to see they did in house eye exams and had appointments. Having the feeling of “why didn’t we think of this before” we gave them a call. Got set up for an appointment like a half hour later we zoomed down with our little one in tow. They took my husband right in, wicked friendly, funny and professional. Ryan, shout out to Ryan. This guy knows his stuff. First off he as well as help from a fellow female employee (I didn’t catch your name I’m truly sorry) she showed my husband kinds of glasses, options and over came Ryan. We tried on a few pairs and found a wicked awesome pair of oakleys . 45mins... it took 45 mins . my husband had scratch resistant, blue filter, the kind of glasses that darken in the sun on his face and he could see! Clearly! No more headaches no more dizzy this place and rocks. Ryan was wicked wicked helpful and very nice. Very good salesman as well. We are truly happy with this purchase now was the time to buy discounts, they take most health insurance and the selection is pretty sweet. We were beyond happy with our experience and left feeling wonderful and even better knowing we didn’t pay a pant load for a new pair of glasses. I highly recommend coming here.

He is very professional, personable, caring, efficient, and really goes the extra mile to make you feel that you are #1 as a client. I couldn’t be more impressed with this young man. There services are pretty good reason for 3 stars is that there policy on prescriptions, they know insurance companies go on a two year cycle so they go on a one year so as to get people who want new glasses two have to pay for new prescription
The eye exam was state of the art, Br. Bausch was friendly and took the time to explain. I was completely comfortable throughout the exam.The glasses store staff seemed less customer focused, possibly due to work load. When we did get an associate they were friendly and helpful.Lenscrafters had a computer outage that day, we were unable to process or pay for our glasses...but...Lenscrafters did the right thing and gave a discount for the inconvenience...without having to ask.
I was nervous about going to the eye doctor in the first place then trying to find someone trustworthy to go to I finally choose Lenscrafters.The doctor was ok.I found myself having to beg for my prescription I had to go back 3 times to get it. The second time I overheard the girls in the back discussing other patients and how THESE people try to get free trial eye contacts and there charts were flagged and how they would have to pay for them next time they come in. Also I was basically forced to order my contacts from them as the girl in the back desk told me it was safer for me.Each time I went in there I had to stand there at the front without being acknowledged for about 20 minutes. Then when someone finally did turn there attention to me they were to say the least rude.The third time I went to go pick up my contacts. I again waited for 20 minutes while my two children were in the hallway of the mall waiting for me to pick up my contacts which should of taken only 5 minutes. It didnt I again was ignored. finally a woman walked by I was fed up and wanted names. Of course she was rude and her name tag said Assistant Manager that was a big laugh. She didnt even look at me when she spoke to me before I could tell her what I was there for she said go to the back I made up my mind I wasnt going back to them. Id go blind first.

When I went here to get my glasses readjusted, the staff asked ME to decide if they were fixed. they’re supposed to know if it’s well adjusted or not.they ended up replacing my nose pads with larger ones that did NOT feel comfortable at all. when I requested for smaller pairs, they declined and told me that my insurance didn’t cover exact replacement.
Went in about 6pm on Wednesday. Was greeted and assisted promptly. Was given a few very reasonable prices for one hour glasses. I got a text that they were ready more than 10 minutes before promised. Was again assisted promptly when I picked them up. Very happy with the whole experience!
Worse place ...over priced plus I bought a 850 $Versace glasses didnt even last a year with out the black fading off the frame and glass lens started to peel and the 300$ to fix them ....place is trash

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I am not speaking of any of the people who work at the Holyoke Lens Crafters Branch. Let me explain. During the pandemic, while lens crafters was closed, my 8 year old broke their glasses and needed replacements. The process to receive a new pair of glasses while stores were closed was a nightmare. We had purchased the replacement insurance at the time we purchased his glasses. To be able to receive a new pair, we had to first send the broken pair of frames to lens crafters/luxxotica (their parent company). Then we had to wait 10-14 BUSINESS days for them to process the broken glasses (take them out of a bin and check them to be sure they are broken is what a customer rep told me over the phone). Only then would they ship my son a new pair of glasses that would take an additional 7-14 BUSINESS days, so really like 1 1/2 - 3 weeks to get back to my child. My child had to go without glasses for 3 WEEKS and develop headaches nearly every single day! Because lens crafters couldnt possibly just send a new pair of frames as soon as we notified them they were broken! Sorry Im not rich enough to have a back up pair of glasses for my kid, they got glasses for the first time this past December, and we just couldnt afford two pairs right off the bat. Also when I called customer service to find out the status of when they would ship beacuse we had already been waiting 2 weeks I asked if they would overnight the glasses because my child had been experiencing headaches everyday. I was told that next day air was not possible. EXCUSE ME?! If you can ship out packages ground, you can certainly do it next day air. UPS (the carrier luxxotica was using) will send your package anyway you ask them to. I used to work in a shipping department and know exactly how shipping out customers packages works. And it is possbile to send packages next day air, at least if you are within the continental 48 which I and lenscrafters/luxxotica are. AND especially if and when you are one of the largest eyeglass retailers in the country! Customer service failed on so many levels. I will not be using them ever again.
Have been getting glasses here for years. While the employees in the front seem to be very helpful, the ladies in the back reception area had a very snobby attitude. Many times while just asking for a copy of my prescription, I noticed them looking at each other and snickering many times and answer my questions with a brief sigh afterwards. Not very professional from what I saw. Will keep purchasing frames there but don’t think I will be getting an eye exam there again.
I have been going to LensCrafters for years. That said I have been very disappointed the last two times I have gotten glasses. I got new glasses a couple weeks ago. The woman with ginger hair was awesome!! The rest were horrible. Long story short, I have to go back a second time to order my glasses, the man who “assisted” me was aggressively unhelpful as was the person I picked up my glasses from. He asked do they fit ok and I said sure and that was it. He did not do a physically check to see if the fit. I am headed back today to have them replace the frames because they keep falling off my face!! I will be speaking to the manager with more detail. Staff either need better training or need to be told this job is not for them.
Short of begging on your hands and knees, you will not get service here if you want to buy glasses. The doctors office in the back however is phenomenal.

I understand the technical problems they are having, but it seems that a large company such as Lenscrafters could ship the orders from this location to one that has a functioning lab. Anyway, the local staff, from the time I selected my glasses to the present, have been very helpful and polite considering the bad situation. I hope it is cleared up soon.
I loved not having to get my eyes dilated but the lenses on their glasses suck! Ive had to get them replaced 4 times in the past year because the glass erodes! And they get dirty without even touching them! Then cleaning them makes them even worse!
Went to check out glasses today. Three women working there. No one was assisting customers. One was eating at her station and the other two were chatting about personal matters. We were in the store for about 25 min and were never asked if we needed assistance. 20 of those minutes no one else was in the store. It was appalling to witness.
Such rude, inattentive people working here. Used to be a nice place to come for appointments and new glasses. Will have to find elsewhere.
I have bought three pair of glasses, one each year at Lens Crafters in the Holyoke Mall. Consistently, I have waited over 30 minutes to get service. Recently, I brought my year old frame, (that I bought at Lens Crafters), to get the lenses replaced. The attendant I spoke with left with my frames. When he returned, he told me my frames were too old and I needed new frames. I told the attendant the frames were a year old. The attendant left with my frames again. When he returned, he said if the lenses were replaced in my year old frames, I would not see as accurate as I would with new frames. I questioned him again and got the same answer. Unbelievable. I left the commission paid employee and Lens Crafters in the Holyoke Mall.
Dont listen to these negative postersI was seen quite quickly as soon as i walked in great customer service even tho we had an issue with something the ladies did not once get impatient or rude to us. For all of u saying the glass erodes shush my boyfriend has had his for over a year now and no issues just some minor scratches from his job thats all but nothing to impare his vision as for the frame to lens issue i watched a man come in and have his changed for new ones. I do reccomend going to them and their doctors and everyone there is so nice and very helpful. A+ to miss multi tasker :) you know who you are
After sending a complaint to lenscrafters about my glasses, the manager of the store called me, but I was unable to answer his call. He left me the most condescending message Ive ever received from any place of business. Avoid Lenscrafters completely though. The product is really sub-par and definitely not worth what you pay for.
Feeling extremely frustrated! Ordered sunglasses 17 days ago!!!! I was told they would be in within 7-14 days! My husband called to check on day 12. He was told they will reach out to me when they are in. Still no call.

Their lens is pretty bad quality, doesnt even last for 6 months and when you complain they always have same answer lens was not handled properly
