The Doctor was nice and professional and the staff was friendly and helpful.
They were very helpful and friendly while I was selecting frames and the prices were great! Along with a wide selection of frames, I will be taking my son here next!
My glasses weren’t fitting well so I went there to have them fixed, they were great service, when they couldn’t fix them they ordered me a brand new pair for only $25, with my plan
The opticians are great but some of the front desk staff is terrible. The girls are good, but This guy picks up the phone every time I call and can never help me. He is clearly not knowledgeable or flexible and it’s really frustrating. This time he had to call me back three times, just to tell me he couldn’t find me one replacement contact lens. Try enfield target instead.
By far the best service and care we have received!!
I did not have my eye exam at Target Optical, but could not find frames that I liked anywhere I looked. And I looked everywhere.... chain stores, private practices, big box stores. I spent an entire weekend looking. The following weekend I only had Sunday free and Target Optical in Holyoke, MA was the only place that was open. I found several frame options that worked for me, the staff was fabulous and the price beat anything I had looked at BY FAR (I have no insurance for frames and lenses)! They followed Covid guidelines and were super patient with me trying on A Lot of frames. I am an extremely satisfied customer and would recommend this store to anyone!
Friendly and helpful staff
I’m gonna be real with you, If you wanna get laughed at go here. Came here to ask a question and I’m so glad I did! I wasn’t even a patient yet! I go up to the man at the front, and I told him my insurance and asked if they take it; he says, “nope.” This man truly laughed in my face and started telling me his highest price for glasses as if I couldn’t buy them! You kidding me?! No thanks. I’m all good. Treat people like people. Teach peace.
My recent visit to see Dr. Reiner at Target Optical was great. I had a scheduled eye exam to get updated prescriptions for my contacts and glasses. The visit felt safe (customer temps were checked before entering, shared surfaces disinfected, limited amount of customers allowed in, etc.). Dr. Reiner and his staff were all polite, informative, and kind. The wait was fairly short and the prices for both the exam and the contacts/glasses I purchased were reasonable, especially since I have very limited vision insurance benefits. They also gave me a mail in rebate from the contact lense manufacturer. I definitely recommend this location and will be back for my next exam. Thank you!
I just left here about an hour ago, the bald guy with glasses asked me what I need I said I’m looking for glasses and asked if I had a prescription I said no but I will get it & he told me he’s not open to browse 😡 I work in the customer service field and that was Poot customer service . I went down to lens crafters and they welcomed me and I bought glasses $300 purchase. Thank you lens crafters!!!!
Do you guys take masshealth ??
Super helpful
Everybody was so nice !!!
I have never written a review for an eye doctor, but WOW, what a great office!! I saw Dr Diloreto, and he was amazing. I learned so much I didn’t know about my eyes. He was very thorough, and pleasant and helped me with contacts as well. I really wish I remembered the names of the two women up front that were so friendly and funny!! One welcomed me, signed me in, and made my appointments ( dark, wavy hair. 😀 The other helped my husband and I with our contact orders and also me with glasses (long blonde/light brown hair 😀. They really were excellent and welcoming. Very homey feel at this practice. And BONUS I paid less for contacts for my husband and I and glasses I love for myself, than I paid for one pair from lens crafters last year. Thank you for a great experience!!! Job well done!!
Need to get contacts and glasses but theyre closed even though they should be open to four on Sundays. Wasted a trip out in this for nothing. This place is never open its stated hours.*I ended up going to Costco that same day and have already received my contacts and glasses. Went to target yesterday thought I would see if I could get my old glasses from them repaired and guess what, closed again. Just say youre closed on Sundays and be done with it. At least this time they had a note saying they were closed for the day.
Very good optician who took the time to really determine the problems I was having with my eyes. Explained things very clearly. Nice selection of glasses/sunglasses that were affordable. I would definitely recommend this optician.
Do they take mass health
Dr. Reiners is like your big brother or best friend, he knows everything and whats best for you.
Ive been to this establishment a few times before and never had a problem but my last check up, which was about two years ago, was the worst experience ever.I had an exam where all the doctor did was let me use my own glasses and just did the cover one eye tests and did adjustments. I was having a really hard time with driving so I knew my prescription would be quite different. When I got my glasses, one of them hurt my bridge so I had to return it. I couldnt afford other styles so I had to give up the idea of back-up glasses. Maybe about a week later, I noticed that I still couldnt see very well and called in, saying I think my prescription isnt right. The receptionist was very rude when she was trying to find me an appointment. I told her that I was in the medical field so its not easy for me to take off on a whim. She said I would have to figure it out basically and hung up. I ended up calling the manager of Target and explained the situation and what the woman had said and strangely enough, they were able to find an appointment that fit my needs. When I went to the new appointment, he did the same test and said that it wasnt the glasses but it was my eyes that were the problem. Are you serious?Of course my eyes are the problem; its your job to fix them as a doctor! Not once did he mention the fact that I have astigmatism, which I already knew, and the problem I was having sounded like he didnt catch it and never adjusted my prescription to it. So, I left and searched around for another ophthalmologist. I found one closer to my work (Optical Studio in Northampton) and I couldnt be happier. The ophthalmologist there instantly saw my astigmatism, did all sorts of thorough tests and exam and made sure to check if my eyes were healthy. She noted the huge difference in my prescription and once I got my glasses, amazingly, I could see 100% better! Its wasnt my eyes, or my glasses. It was my doctor.Dont waste your time and money on these people. I dont know if the same people are still there but I wouldnt take the chance and head to Sears or JCPenney if youre interested in getting your eyes done in the Holyoke Mall.
The office was very professional and very nice. Dr. Reiner was great!
Excellent optical exams. Dr. Collin Reiners is the eye doctor, and I would enthusiastically recommend him for all eye issues. I am extremely myoptic, and he knew how to manage my difficult prescription. My daughter needed contacts for the first time, and he was patient and kind with the fitting. My husband needed progressives and found really stylish glasses for far less than anywhere else. Very professional office; very competent doctor and staff. We will return yearly.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would in a heartbeat. I have been to eye appointments for over half my life and I have never experienced such rude, condescending, and degrading behavior in all that time. The initial appointment was ok. Doctor Reiner was polite. For an eye exam AND contact lens fitting he spent 15 minutes with me, this is of course after making me wait 20 minutes. I put symptoms of burning and headaches in my eye area, but I dont think he even bothered to look at the back of the sheet. I go in thinking he is going to fit my for contacts and then dilate my eyes because that is what every other eye doctor I have seen does, but he doesnt. He explains what an astigmatism is (as if he is talking to a child) and then tells me the best he can do is an off brand of contacts that you wear once a month. I was thinking Great! Less money to spend, sign me up. I walked out of the store and within an hour I couldnt see anything and I had a splitting headache from my eyes trying to focus.I called them back to explain my dissatisfaction and that I wanted my money back. The doctor scoffed, actually scoffed at me and said Thats not going to happen Then he rudely tries to speak over me, and explain what an eye exam consists of, again like I dont know what it is, and that no matter what I felt, I paid for a service and wouldnt get my money back. I went to my old eye doctor (in another state) and he took TWO HOURS with me AND I paid half as much. Unbelievable that Target wouldnt back their customers on this. What happened to the customer is always right?DO. NOT. GO. TO. DR. REINER.
Cheap frames and my insurance is awesome
Stay away!!
This is the only place we’re u ask for a copy of your prescription and they roll their eyes.
Great!
