We made a road trip stop just to come back to this place. Really delicious Gourmet Popsicles. Mango habanero and peach cream were excellent. Strawberry lemon is great too.

What they recommended was good. What my son choose was better. Delicious pops.

Great local experience!! Can you tell I loved it? 😊The popsicles have amazing texture and flavor, and they are guaranteed (really, I’ve seen them exchange flavors if you don’t love it)! I suggest getting them dipped and sprinkled. Be prepared - you get what you pay for and this won’t be a cheap outing, but it will be worth it!!

Friendly service and delicious treats &kids love it. I saw the flavor of the month and decided to change the white chocolate to milk chocolate. it was wonderful. My sons basketball team comprised of 9 and 10 year olds all loved it as we celebrated the end of the season here.

I go to steel city pops every single time I visit Birmingham, sometimes making multiple trips. I absolutely LOVE the chocolate peanut butter pop, unfortunately they do not carry it often. Pretty much every time I go I like to try a new pop, and they will replace it for free if you do not like it. Only thing is they are on the expensive side. I highly recommend!

My only minus is the price [$4 for a popsicle.] Otherwise great popsicles. Constantly rotating flavors. Farm fresh ingredients. Locally-owned. Whats not to love 🥰🤗🥳

This place is great for kids and adults. Wonderful array of flavors... Traditional and non-traditional in both fruity and creamy varieties. They also have seasonal flavors which are usually my favorite. But you can never go wrong with strawberry!!... Or pineapple or cantaloupe.

Delicious! These pops are fantastic. Everyone in our group had Different flavor, and they were all so good. They made a mistake on the toppings of one order and replaced it with a new one without even being asked. Great customer service, and great recommendations as well. The food service area was clean. We will be going back next time we see in Birmingham.

Steel City Pops is outstanding! Ive yet to have a flavor I didnt enjoy, and its great to see the pops being made right behind the counter. The buttermilk, toasted marshmallow, and peanut butter are to die for! If calories arent an issue, get it dipped! The staff are always friendly and they deal with large crowds efficiently. It makes for a great treat on a hot day (or a cold one for that matter!)

We used Steel City Pops catering for our sons wedding recently....the pops were delicious and popular with our guests (naturally!), but also the SCP customer service was excellent....friendly, pleasant, professional. They make it so easy for their customers, and fun for the guests! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Oh my goodness.....we went to a lot of trouble to find them as our mapping software had them in an opposite area of the outdoor mall, but we are SOOOO glad we persevered in our quest for a gluten-free organic dessert. They have fruity or creamy options and the staff recommended Buttermilk flavor. I have died and gone to heaven. He said that is by far their most popular flavor. Described it as tasting like cheesecake- I disagree and say it tastes like heavenly buttermilk pie. HEAVENLY I tell you. We walked to our car and had to go back for more as our hotel has a refrigerator. Gotta love that!. Purchased a 4-pack and saved $1. To -go bag is lined with foil and has a freezer pack inside. Perfect. So dont hesitate getting more to go. Buttermilk was 228 calories while I saw the most was 340 calories (Butter Pecan)I believe. You wont be sorry- give it a try soon!!!

Absolutely the best place for popsicles in Birmingham. They are a great price, and a great treat for yourself, or for your significant other. It always makes my night better when I bring a couple steel city pops home.

Steel City Pops is such a special treat. Whether you want ice cream or fruity. They have you covered. Their flavors are pretty much seasonal but there are a few flavors they keep year round. These popsicles are a must try if you havent already. You will fall in love! It is unique to Alabama and has a fun story behind the business.

My friend Jay introduced me to this gem. Small little popsicle shop with awesome flavors. I tried the buttermilk reluctantly and was amazed by how good it actually was. My second pop was a pineapple jalapeno and it was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I was sad not to get to try the Arnold Palmer as it was sold out. But I found out they have locations in North Texas, so maybe I will get another chance. Highly recommend taking the kids or a date and grabbing some pops.

My husband and I love Steel City Pops! Today, 3 of of my friends tried it and they loved it, also. So far, I know the buttermilk, peanut butter, key lime and strawberry flavored pops are delicious! Will be trying as many more flavors as possible, as opportunity occurs!!!!

I love Steel City Pops! They have a great variety of popsicles and I love every flavor Ive tried so far. The creamy ones are my favorite, but the fruity ones are good for cooling off in the summer. The atmosphere is wonderful here and I always feel welcome. The woman who rang me up, Madison, did a splendid job of helping me find just the right pop and was super cheerful and nice.

Best popsicles around. Each flavor tastes exactly like its title. Each flavor is made fresh daily, and they have a large variety to choose from. There is also an easy rewards program that gets you a free pop every so many you buy.

They use fresh ingredients in their popsicles and they are delicious. On this visit I tried the lemon lavender. It was like a frozen lemonade. It was good and I liked it, I just didnt really pick up on the lavender. Could have just been me though.

Amazing as always! We have been going to Steel City Pops since it opened as a end of the week treat for my kiddos. It is clean. Employees are always nice and welcoming and of course the pops are delicious as usual!

WE LOVE STEEL CITY POPS!!! Caramel, buttermilk, toasted marshmallow, blood orange.....YUM!!! (We dont love strawberry or blueberries and cream. Not bad, but not favorites. ) Vanilla is also yummy. Staff is kind. Yum yum yum.

Love love love this place! The fruity pops are super refreshing and the creamy and cookie pops are decadent and neither are really that bad for you! Get them dipped in chocolate or with Carmel drizzle or both! Get them dredged in Graham cracker or sprinkled with sea salt, or both! They have so many options for customized dessert that you could eat a different one everytime you come in. Within walking distance of 18th st shops, its an awesome treat on a hot, tepid, or even cold day.

Ive never seen a place that specialized in popsicles before and I probably wouldnt have been very interested if my local friends didnt speak so highly of it. They had a good variety of fruity and creamy flavors and our group of six were all happy with our choices. The staff was really nice too. Tip: The creamy pops tend to melt fast so keep napkins handy.

For several years I didnt eat ice cream and here I mean those overly sweet and fatty or sour and faintly flavored, always on my shirt dripping waistline extenders.Then came steel city pops offering excitement on a stick:: Chipotle chocolate, chili pineapple, buttermilk vanilla, basil blueberry, ... popsicles that taste grown-up, fresh, natural, crafty.

Steel City pops is probably my familys favorite place for frozen treats in the Birmingham area. Their flavors are amazing and the atmosphere is really fun.
