I really enjoyed going to mi pueblo mainly for the homemade food and fruit... kids enjoy it too. Has a lot of house hold things. I almost forgot about the delicious Mexican homemade bread 🍞😋..

I love the food!!! The restaurant is the best part. The grocery store portion has unique items that you just cant find at other stores. They carry a great deal of international and cultural food which is amazing. I also like the pastry section and it is one of the few places that sale sugar cane which is delicious and remind me of my youth. If you are in the area during lunch time or even in general stop into the restaurant it is located in the back left corner. They also have a buffet.

Very clean and inviting! Great selection of local, domestic and international foods and food items. Reasonably priced products. Love to visit the bakery, café and area near fresh produce for the strawberry cream cup.

I love to shop at his place. Great Latino and American items. Outstanding fruits and vegetables and cafeteria. The first place I visit is the butcher shop. They have A variety of meats that you don’t find anywhere else, Picanha,pork belly, even chicken feet. I also bought some gigantic chicken wings. Walk around and check the place out you will be amazed.

Just a great store and reasturant

Always a great experience, fantastic selection, store is always clean and their fresh produce is some of the best available in this area.Goat, rabbit, beef? Gotcha, at great prices. Need a meal? Carnitas, roast chicken, and a restaurant right in house. Im about as white as A4 paper and Im treated just the same as every other guest, more than can be said for some of our big chain stores. You owe it to yourself to experience this place if for no other reason than the seemingly endless pan dulce aisle. Cheesecake bread? Yes. All the yes.

I really like the supermarket. But unhappy im feeling very uncomfortable in the parking lot. every time i go there are always suspicious cars parked. and I have already gone through situations of fear. I would like me to feel safer at the supermarket. I dont know why, but it only happens at the Green springs supermarket, Homewwod. I would be very happy if the supermarket manager improved the parking security.

Mi Pueblo is AWESOME!!! The fruit cafe is great. I love the assorted fruit cup with all the spices & fresh lime juice! The bakery & restaurant, with a large assortment of choices available on the hot bar is great as well. And although I no longer eat meat, they have the best looking freshly butchered meats Ive seen in any grocery store in the area.

Good prices for fresh food and vegetables. They have close to every Latin ingredient you could want. PLUS they have THE BEST Fresas con Creama anywhere in the Central Alabama area!

Extremely clean store with a wide selection of Hispanic foods. Their meat section is spotless and well-stocked, even during a busy holiday week. Their restaurant is fresh with delicious food. The selection of groceries and fresh produce is beautiful and reasonably priced. I am going back tomorrow for more fajita meat. Their fajita mix is reasonably priced and the best pre-seasoned meat you’ll find anywhere.

The produce department is way better than any other produce department in Birmingham and much better prices.

Best version of a Latin grocery store Ive seen in the region. Not quite as exquisite as Texas or Compare in Durham, but definitely worth the applause. The restaurant looked amazing, but that panaderia and meat market....Ill definitely be back!

Pelham is more better people here acted like they didnt want to assist you expecially in the deli area one women was waiting before us my bf told them and then we waited for him to get done with her he looked over us and continued to help another person who had just walked up Ive been to the and then when we wanted something else from the hot area he acted like he didnt want to help either in the Pelham store Ive never had this problem and cashiers didnt say a thing no hola como estas nada in English or Spanish si me hablas español y inglés i was excited to see this one because mi amiga hoblo muy bueno por esta Tienda y mi primo y prima también and was disappointed I working in the same feild I understand how it is to work at a store but one thing I was always taught a first impression means also I dont see myself going back here not worth my time or money

Mi Pueblo would receive 5 stars from me, provided the employees valued customers. As stated in other reviews, I get the feeling that non Hispanics are treated differently by employees, and that they do not appreciate my business or my money. I have shopped there frequently over the past few months with the expectation of better service. Today I waited to pay for my bakery item while workers stared at me from behind the glass. Finally someone took initiative to take payment for my item, he bagged it, and I went on to the butcher. The men behind the counter served all of the Hispanics, even those who came after me, as I waited. They laughed and joked and finished their conversation, and only THEN did they acknowledge me. The young man asked for what I wanted, and without attempting to get even close to the weight I asked for, threw it in the counter, and said “that it”? Before I could thank him he turned around and walked away. Because his departure was so abrupt, I stood there, convinced that he was coming back with a price sticker or something, but he went on to continue his conversation with the other workers. As I walked back pass the bakery and towards checkout, the lady at the bakery insisted I come back and pay for my bread. I told her repeatedly that I had already paid, finally pointing out the man who took my money, and the fact that my item was bagged and stapled, something typically done behind the counter, after payment. No apology was given for her mistake. At the checkout counter, the young lady was watching movies on her phone, as she worked. While not surprising, I found it to be disrespectful of the customers. The treatment today from the bakery, the butchers section and the cashiers station solidified my resolve to not return. I like the quality of their produce and LOVE their bakery selection, however I refuse to spend money at this establishment anymore.

Im so into Mi Pueblo that its just ridiculous. Yes, its just a grocery store but its FULL of ingredients that you just cant find anywhere else. Where else can you get a bag of cactus or a whole cows head? AN ENTIRE COWS HEAD!!! I love going in and checking out the produce. Its super fresh and they have some of the best prices in town, no sale needed. I also like to look over the spices and see what I can use and stop by the meat department for some fresh chorizo or round pork. I also like to grab a bunch of grapefruit sodas and a bag or two of their tortilla chips. Its all just so good!Although Ive never been to either they have a sweets counter upfront and a restaurant in the back with a hot bar. They also have a very cool bakery that charges you by the lb for food. Its wild to see all of their treats spread throughout the cupboards in the wall.

After moving from Texas it is nice to have a supply of some of the food I normally eat. While the stock is limited it has your basics covered and is clean and well stocked.

This became your go-to for grocery shopping. Not only do they have regular fresh fruits and veggies, but they also carry a huge selection of hard-to-find ethnic foods in addition to international foods (Indian and other Asian). They have a whole wall dedicated to desserts (variety of pan dulce) that are oh-so-yummy! Their eat-in restaurant is excellent. My friends found the buffet delicious and I opted for a veg burrito which was huge for $5. Oh and they have some of the best prices on groceries! Must visit for everyone!

We need more Mi Pueblo Supermarkets! By far the best meat selection and the only place I can find goat and rabbit meat. Rare and exotic spices too. The bakery is huge! I’ve been meaning to try the cafe inside.

Just ate at the buffet in back of the store. Holy cow, it was good. By the time you’re ready for seconds half the items are new. The items keep changing out while you are eating. Amazingly good!!!!

Dont bother wasting your time trying to order a cake from here. The girl straight up told me I needed to order a week in advance because thats how old their cakes are. The ones they decorate today are already made 2 or more days before. So just go on over to GORDOS where you can order whatever size or shape cake you need without any problem.

I love all cultures and I notice that th ave many cultural flags on the building..... But if you are not Spanish they treat you rude.... Very rude... The store is great with great prices and a fresh meat market in the back... But the workers are very terrible there. Last week I asked for lamb and they gave me goat ....put the wrong labels on my meat and was very rude...

Beware of their frozen vegetables. We bought frozen okra and frozen spinach. The okra was mostly discolored (has a pale brown & dull green color). The frozen spinach looked like bagged trash & went straight into the trash can where it belonged. We didnt have time to return the items to the store as we were in Hoover and were headed back to Georgia.

I live in Dallas, TX and my debit card information was used at this location on Aug. 6th, 2017 for $156. I physically had my debit card with me so the information had to have been input manually. Please Mi Pueblo, watch your employees closely or train them properly.

We are from Gulf Shores, AL. When we go the the Birmingham area Mi Pueblo is a must stop place for us. It is so clean and organized. I love walking in a smelling the fresh baked Mexican bread. The fruits and vegetable displays are beautiful and have so much variety of fresh produce available. The bakery is the best. The bread is warm and fresh. I love the tortilleria. They have excellent quality corn and flour tortilleria. Across from that they have a refrigerated section of various cheeses and chorizo. The fresh meat counter is amazing. You can tell the freshness and quality of the meat, poultry and seafood they offer. They have a restaurant section which has a large selection of entrees made to order available. They also have a buffet. The price is incredibly reasonable. The selection is fabulous. They have soups, rice, beans and so many things to pick from. They also have fresh steamed tortillas as well as a bar with salsa and various toppings for your plate. They have fountain drinks and the tastiest horchata and jamaica. The store has everything and as mentioned is clean and organized. The staff is friendly and so helpful.
