Beware of the bait and switch offers. I was enticed by a we must buy your vehicle, our inventories are low promotion and a text system that gave me a price range based off my specific vehicle and VIN. I decided it sounded good, but when I brought it in, their offer was $1,545 lower than the lowest number in the price range of $17,545-19,995. They gave no reason as to why they decided it fell out of the price range. There are and were no flaws upon bringing it in for inspection that would have been new information from their reports on my VIN that could have caused them to drop the offer outside the price range. I am sure there is some fine print that allows them to do that, but my warning is just to be careful not to waste your time with a bait and switch promotion. I am sure they will reply to this and say it was some type of automated system that is just a guideline, but what they are saying is that their time is more important than their customers. What I am saying is that they should take more time to make it accurate, even if it is such that they say thanks for your interest, but prior to bringing it in, let us confirm the price range or something like that.EDIT AFTER RESPONSE FROM OWNER AND TALKING ON THE PHONE WITH THEM: We talked on the phone and I explained why I didnt feel that I had higher mileage than most was a suitable reason, rather just an excuse. I have 91,495 miles divided by 7.5 years (2014), = 12.2k per year. I searched a used car listing for 2014 models and 60% of them were higher mileage than my car (35/58). 10-12k per year is not uncommon. Also, this dealer has recently serviced my vehicle, like weeks ago, and would have had the recent mileage. I would advise them to remove an association with a VIN number if they are not really going to pull any real detail that determines the value of the specific vehicle. I am just trying to provide the facts, so this can be helpful to anyone looking to do business with this dealership.

Very disappointed in the over all service of Hendrick Chrysler Jeep. From the moment I took my vehicle in for service, because I had just replaced the transmission, I was told that I was going to have to replace my transmission again without the service department ever doing a test drive. Once they did a test drive I was told that my transmission had internal problem. When the vehicle was brought in for service it was to program or reset the transmission I had just installed. The service advisor stated that a new shift cable needed to be installed and possible input or output sensor needed to be replaced on the transmission that was currently in the vehicle. The dealership did not preform this service and insisted that I get another transmission. I informed GO-Power train where, I purchase the transmission and they sent a new unit. Once the new unit arrived and was installed by Hendrick I was told that it had the same internal problem as the unit that was taken out. I spoke with the service supervisor and they finally agreed to changed the sensor and shift cable and charges me $1,351.51. Replacing the sensor and shift cable (which has nothing to do with the internal working of a transmission), in the original transmission could have saved me hundreds of dollars.

Purchase of a Ram 1500. The entire Hendrick team did a great job. The sales associate, Donovan, really knew the product and showed perfect character. On the few options and specs he did not know, he admitted it and quickly got the answers. He facilitated a fair negotiation on the price of the new truck and trade on my current truck. Also, great job by Chris in the financing department. He was fast efficient and right on target with his advice on warranty options.

Buyer beware if you are planning on purchasing a vehicle from Hendricks Ram Dodge and Jeep in Hoover Al. If you purchase Gap insurance on your last vehicle Hendricks will steal it from you like they did to me I had a signed document stating that I was due a refund check on my unused Gap insurance for amount of 895.42 when I did not received the check when they told me it would be here I call got in touch with them and that’s when I got the dog and pony show from them saying I was not going to be getting my refund on the unused part of my Gap insurance even though I had it in writing from them. For your on good don’t believe anything they say and what including anything they put in writing they will not stand behind what they say.If it was handled correctly why do I have signed document stating that Hendricks owes me the refund. I will be happy to show anyone the document or better yet I can post it for everyone I see.

The BEST service Ive had in a long time. The lady who took my call (did not get her name unfortunately) was VERY good at her job; super efficient, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. James was in charge of checking my car and was also professional and good at his job. He kept me updated on what was going on throughout the service. The service was quick, I was called when it was done, and check out was easy. The Hendricks team ought to be proud of how they are running their business. It seems these days Ive had nothing but terrible customer service everywhere, but not here. I wont go anywhere else again. I live far away from Hoover, but its worth the trip.

EDIT: This is a pseudonym as I do not like having my personal information plastered all over the internet. I will gladly give you a call back to address my complaints.Impossible to get on the phone with anyone at their service department to speak with an advisor. I have tried on three separate occasions to speak to an advisor prior to making an appointment (for different repairs) so we could discuss pricing and options.The first time I waited on hold for 30 minutes to no avail. Ended up fixing the vehicle myself instead.The second time I had requested a call back which never came, once again ended up just fixing it myself.Now here we are for a third time where I called at 7:30 AM hoping maybe someone could take my call and answer a couple of basic questions prior to booking an appointment. Again, nobody was available. I left my contact information for a callback, but I already know that will not happen.This level of customer service from their service department is unacceptable. If someone is wanting to spend a significant sum of money to have something repaired, taking a brief moment to speak to a client is more than warranted.I will leave them two stars only because their scheduling assistant is extremely friendly and really tried her best to get someone on the phone from an otherwise unresponsive service department. Also, their parts department is quite good and actually answers their phone. Used them to buy the parts for the last two times. Ironic.

We thank the rep that worked with us and the finance rep for the additional services provided at the end of our stay. However, we were there for HOURS waiting for the paperwork to be completed. I have NEVER waited that long. We were about to leave. Then we were left alone in one section of the dealership and everyone on that side went home. Strange. I dont know why we were not asked/permitted to sit and wait on the other side where the finance office was, especially since it was very late (closing time).

Came to this dealer because I heard good things. My 2 experience have been horrible. Def won’t buy here. First experience I saw a car on their website advertised at a price. Drive an hour to the dealer and it’s selling for a lot more than advertised. I was given 3 different excuses for this and they would not honor the advertised price on their website. It’s the typical game shady dealers play to get you to come to the dealer. Second instance was my wife and I tried to sell them our car. My wife is from Jamaica and a citizen of Jamaica. They finance manger to me they don’t buy cars from non citizens!!! I’m a citizen and my name was also on the car. Talk about discrimination. I have emailed the owner and general manager and neither of them have answered me. This is exactly why people hate going to dealers. I am telling everyone about how this dealer operates. Don’t forget the $499 for window tint that is installed on their cars. I could keep going but this is long enough

Had appointment on Thursday 10-7-2021 because the engine in my 2007 Dakota would misfire. The problem was supposedly fixed a few weeks earlier at the cost of $1002.00. They replaced the plugs and fixed a fuel injector gasket. The truck ran fine for a few weeks then the same problem ( engine sputtering) reoccurred. Took the truck back on October 7. Got the truck back on October 16. I was told the technician couldn’t find anything wrong. Drove the truck two days and it started sputtering again.

I brought my vehicle in which is brand new 2021 Chrysler Pacifica minivan that has had for service calls already for the computer and the navigational system and CarPlay. I was told there was nothing wrong with the system and it was fine. I also have a rattling noise when I accelerate or if I go up over a hill, I was told that a wheel bearing was loose and they fixed it. It is four weeks later and I have videos and pictures of the computer going black and navigational system not responding and CarPlay disappearing. I am still hearing the rattling sound when I accelerate especially at low speeds. I am so fed up and disappointed with the lack of service that I received. This is a brand new vehicle and I have filed a claim with Chrysler customer service and feel like I am getting nowhere! Very very sad I drive all over the United States with my medically complex teenager to different hospitals and healthcare systems and I’m afraid I might break down in a brand new vehicle.

Great experience! We worked with Crystal M. and she was a peach! We came from out of town for a test drive of the truck we were interested in. She was knowledgeable and so helpful. We were able to work out negotiations over the phone that evening and the next morning. We were in a “time crunch”, and she had every piece of paperwork ready for us so we could come back the next day to sign everything and got us straight into the financing department. Chris helped to expedite the rest of the process, and was so efficient! In and out with our purchase in about 1 1/2 hours. We highly recommend this dealership.

The Collision Center recently repaired my Lexus RXh 450 and did a fantastic job. An accident left me with damage to my rear bumper and they repaired the cosmetic damage, but also ran diagnostics that showed some of the sensors were damaged and also repaired those. My bumper looks brand new and everything is operating perfectly. The office staff was incredibly professional and updated me often on the progress of my vehicle. Enterprise rental is right around the corner if you need a rental and they will pick you up from Hendrick. Highly recommend this crew!

I made an appointment to have my convertible top checked out for Monday, July 26, 2021 at 10 am. I showed up on time, no one came out to assist me until 15 minutes after my appointment and and they advised my car will not be looked at until the following day. I asked for a ride home, which is which is on Patton Chapel Road and had to await 45 minutes for a driver to take me. It wasnt until I told the shop I was going to walk before a driver was available. I called on Wednesday to check on the status and was told my Service Tech will call me back w/ the update by the close of business. When he didnt call, I called again on Thursday & was told my car still had not been looked at. My car sat at the shop for a week without being serviced. When I came to pick it up on Friday, I was told to reschedule my appointment because the man who could serve my car was about to go on vacation. I know you guys are short staffed but there needs to be better communication between the appointments Rep and who is actually there to service the cars, so people dont waste their time and energy. I dont have any other means of transportation so I was without a car for a whole week for no reason. The Customer Service Reps are friendly but your car dealership is too big to not have workers who can service the cars when needed.

Wish these people were around when I had hail damage on my car, results would have been MUCH better. Thanks to Hendrix Subaru for arranging mechanical damage and body damage (my unoccupied car was hit in a parking lot) together which reallly simplified issues with the other driver’s insurance.As a result of their recent work on my 2016 Outback, it’s the ONLY body shop I will ever use again, even on my truck. Chad was the most thorough of the 4 shops I went to for estimates. His communication was on spot, and the end result is beautiful!! Car looks brand new!! All things about this experience were perfect..really needs 10 stars!!

He introduced himself to both my husband and me and his charisma, spunk, and his vast knowledge of the vehicles we were interested in purchasing was immediate. He was hands down one of the reasons we decided on purchasing our Jeep at this dealership. We settled on our vehicle an hour before closing and never did he make it seem he was ready to leave, nor did his electric personality falter. I scheduled a Saturday morning oil change as part of my Jeep Wave program.First the good: They did the job within an hour and as far as I can tell, correctly.The service writer was friendly, but only after the bad. Being COVID-Tymes, when I pulled up, before getting out of my Jeep, I asked, do you have a mask? He looked at me as if I had three heads and said, No. Can you please get one? Yes, he said. Honestly, Im not sure if he did or didnt have one when he drove off, but did have one when he came back out to tell me that it was ready.So, theres your star. If someone pulls up wearing a mask or asks if you have one, wear a dang mask before you get into their vehicle. A lot of us consider it to be one of the only safe places left to be when out of the house.

Smh, I have bought three cars from this dealership. I had respect for this dealership. I have seen good sales and service people come and go. Now I just don’t know what is there. I had a oil change service package that comes with tire rotation. Not once have my tires been rotated. I know this because my rims has marks and if you are a guy that hand wash his ride you know where every little defeats are. Every time I ask if my tires been rotated I get a yes and I’m standing looking right at the scuff mark on my left side front rims smh after sitting for hrs I didn’t even care to pick a argument over fact that I know my service that I pay for every month is not getting done. I drive from Tuscaloosa to get my car service at this dealership because of the quality of service but over the years it has changed. The dishonesty of the service has made me start take my money elsewhere.

Arrived at 7am with no appt to get a tire repaired. Smooth check in.👍 Advised that repair should take about 20 minutes. 👍Walked across the street for breakfast at Famous Freds .👍 Returned to Hendrick about 8am and waited in the customer lobby. Coffee wasnt bad. 👌 Tracked down the service advisor at 8:45 👎and found that repair was complete. Service advisor had looked up and applied my Hendrick tire policy with no hassles. 👍👏 Headed for home and checked tire pressure after a few hundred yards on the road. Monitor showed 42 psi vs factory spec of 36 psi. 👎👎👎Should I have confidence in the quality of the repair?🤙
