My 9 year old son has been a patient of Dr. Christine Tyler for several years since 2016. When we compared his prescription in 2019 with 2020, we noticed one eye got better and the other eye was worse, much worse. Like a completely different prescription. Also he was watching TV right in front of the TV while wearing his glasses. My wife took him in to have him retested with his glasses last year and they only tested the glasses to the prescription but would not have the Dr. retest his eyes with the glasses. They said the insurance didnt cover it since he was tested only a few months ago. We offered to pay cash and they still refused. I called and asked them whats going on with his prescription and that his glasses didnt seem to fit his eyes. The technician only looked at the chart but offered no explanation. Finally my wife took him to a different Optometrist this year, January 2021. They came up with a different prescription. For several years he has been playing baseball and has had trouble hitting and catching. Now he said he can see the flickering candle light clearly on the neighbors house, for the first time. He is so amazed at his vision now. We ordered a pair of sports glasses from Eye Contact about 2 years ago for $320 and he would never use them because they were blurry. Totally wasted. It seems now that every prescription from Dr. Christine was wrong year after year. If you care about your childs vision you would not take them there.

Dr Tyler is excellent and the best staff you would ever want! Just had yearly exam and the office is using all the safety measures that are possible during this pandemic. I felt very safe and I highly recommend! They will all take good care of you!

I have been going to Dr Tyler since 2011 and my wife even longer. We think she is the greatest and the whole Eye Contact experience is a pleasure. At my recent appointment she spent a great deal of time with me explaining what is happening to my (aging) vision and the things we can do about it. She was great, like I said. You can’t go wrong with EyeContact and Dr Tyler.

Had an appointment with Dr Tyler. Ive been wearing glasses since I was 13, so Ive done eye exams many times over the years. This was probably the longest. She asked probing questions, spent a lot of time to double check the prescription, and the overall result is a pair of glasses that has me seeing better than I realized I could.Once the exam was over, Guy helped me find the perfect frames. I told him what I was looking for. Similar shape to my existing frames, with a focus on comfort. He went right to the frames I ended up picking out. And he made everything easy and seamless.This place is a gem. I am definitely going back when its time for new glasses.

Dr. Christine Tyler of this office has been treating me for several years. She is an excellent doctor and cares about her patients. She has been keeping my glaucoma in check along with my regular eye check-ups. She is persistent with contact lense fittings until best results are achieved. I highly recommend Dr. Tyler for outstanding eye care. Additionally the other staff are friendly and helpful.

I have been coming here for a number of years. At first, I went for location convenience, but its all about the friendly service and a staff that listens and knows their stuff. Steven, the very talented man who makes the lenses, is an absolute genius at what he does. Yes, they are a boutique, but they will work with you to make sure that you walk out of the door as a contented customer. Great hours, too.

Ive been going to Eye Contact for over 8 years and have been pleased with the different ODs Ive seen in the practice, as well as the other staff. I used to wear contacts, and then I changed to glasses. Everything goes smoothly each time I have an annual check up. I also like the frames choices and have been pleased with the ones Ive purchased over the years.

Dr. Pouw is the best eye doctor in Houston.She is quite good at fitting contact lenses in one visit. That is a talent if one consider the complexity because of all the parameters involved. And she smells very good too.

I can not wear soft contacts and this is one of the few places that actually specializes in RGP contacts. They did a nice job fitting and refitting the lenses to make sure they were just right for me. I was very happy with the customer service. I do wish they offered a discount for those of us who do not have eye care insurance, but they dont so if you are like me and have to pay out of pocket for services, bear that in mind.
