I came here as a new investor ready to make my first initial investment of $10k in silver.. not only was ignored a good while before even being spoke to.. the salesman basically took me as a joke as if I was wasting his time.I simply asked what makes each silver coin different in price.. he simply replied “because I pay more for some of them”I was waiting for the rest of the explanation but that was it..I felt very disrespected and ended up leaving without making ANY purchase.It was exciting day for me as I was happy to make such an investment but that experience literally horrified me.I will not be returning and will recommend that people steer clear of this place.Also I called 15 mins before I came and they said they had 10oz bars. Got there and that was not the case. Lol**EDIT**After reading the MANY 1 star reviews I suddenly don’t feel too bad, seems to be a systematic ongoing issue at this place. I prefer buying at coin shows but when I do buy I almost always go to US Coins and I have been buying from them for almost 10 years. Friendly professional staff and safe environment. They get real busy sometimes on a Saturday but thats normal for these times. Their prices are fair and they usually have a good selection of bullion. Have recommended them to friends and family.

Used to go to another jeweler/precious metal buyer seller. Took the same coins to both places and sold on the same day with the same market price. This place gave me HUNDREDS of dollars more. Won’t likely see me at the old place again.

I went to sell some gold to one of the buyers there and he didnt like the color of my gold. So he passed on it. Then I wanted to buy a couple of silver rounds and the 3 bonehead salesmen ignored me while I stood there for a good 10 minutes as they had their own conversation that had nothing to do with the business at hand.( I wonder if it had anything to do with the way I was dressed.) The place WAS NOT BUSY so that excuse can be flushed down the toilet. These guys are RUDE.

Dress well or go elsewhere. The shop is very clean and seemingly professional. I was directed to one of the assessment booths where I was ignored for 20 minutes while they accommodated customers who arrived after me. The only distinguishing factor I could see was they were better dressed than I.

SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! I saw videos/commercials about how friendly and helpful this place is. No appointment needed. I went on my day off expecting what they advertised. That didnt happen. The place was empty so they cant use the excuse of being busy. The gentleman didnt even touch my coins, he barely glanced at them when I placed them down on the desk. He said they were not interested. I spent about 3-4 minutes in this place after driving from Pearland which is about 30-40 minutes away (depending on traffic). I was super bummed.

I would recommend US Coins and Jewelry for bullion purchases to anyone. I phoned them yesterday morning to see if they had the gold bullion products I was seeking. They had them and held them for me until I arrived later that day. I purchased them at an extremely fair price of 4.5% over spot. You cant ask for better than that. To top it all off, when I checked my email later that day Elliot emailed me they had found a $50 bill I had apparently dropped on the floor. The security guard had found it after I left. Elliot even offered to meet me at a location more convenient to my home to return it. You talk about customer service and fair pricing, they are it. I will be back.

Walked into the store with a watch purchase in mind on a particular piece I saw on their website. DO NOT KNOW DIAMONDS......Very welcoming and nice staff! They may know their Coins, However, the Gentleman that I dealt with, DID NOT know his Diamonds. I was told that I had nothing since the Diamond was so Badly Damaged not a good amount of diamond and somewhat slid it across the desk back to me. My Heart told me different. I went to a Certified Gemologist to have Appraised, and Boy....was he TOTALLY OFF BASE!! Glad I listed to my Heart!

If you are looking to sell coins or metals, there are plenty of folks to help you and who understand your product. Not necessarily true for gemstones or collectibles. The guys were very friendly but not always tuned in to helping me. Very distracted by one another. The store was packed with people and it was virtually impossible to social distance so make an appointment or find a time when fewer people are there since space is very limited. Nice folks though.

Every member of the staff is courteous and helpful. I usually go to Will because hes just the first one I really talked to. Hes been a great resource and very knowledgeable and helpful. If I had found this place earlier I could have saved many hundreds of dollars over buying from APMEX, US Gold, or any of the other big, well known, online places, and they sell the exact same quality metals. If you want to buy physical precious metals as an investment this is the best place with much better pricing than Ive found anywhere else with no high pressure sales techniques. Shop around but I sincerely doubt youll find a better price and guarantee you wont find better people.

Before going to U.S. Coins, I went to another location much closer to me and the price they gave me did not seem right. So I went to U.S. Coins and they more than double the buy. After speaking to the person I dealt with I decided to only sell my deceased wifes necklace and they still gave me much more than I would have gotten from the other dealer.
