WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.THE CASHIER, today at 9:35pm was the person more rude I have ever encounter. She left me there talking alone and remove her gloves and go outside to clean the floor. So noone take my order. If you read the reviews you can see that many of the reviews talk about the same.Is sad because a business with that kind of customer service will not last.So if you want to try a nice ice-cream spot, this IS NOT AN OPTION
I never write a review but I would like to help you save your money and don’t waste it in this place. It’s super expensive and the ice cream taste like sugar only not flavor at all. Customer service is terrible! Please save your money don’t go there!!!! I will write more specific things but won’t bother.
Terrible. The rolled ice cream is a small amount and has no flavor. They give you a good size cup with 4 small rolls. You have to pay for all the toppings they advertise.
Terrible service and watery ice cream (not creamy at all) the ladies were completely terrible at customer service. do NOT recommend this place. The lobby is dirty and not kept up either.
The flavor of the rolled ice cream was not good at all. Presentation was nice but not edible to me.
Rude staff. lady working the front didn’t really seem like she cared to answer any of our questions. JUST SHUT THE PLACE DOWN IF YOU LACK CUSTOMER SERVICE
Worst customer service, I order the rolling ice cream for $8.00 and when I asked for Oreos as a topping they literally just gave me one Oreo cookie. They need a better setup with more toppings. I will not be coming back here.
There was only 1 person serving all these people on a Sunday at 1 pm. Needless to say, the server had an attitude. The worker took our money and then proceeded to finish prior order. While preparing the ice cream, around 15 people showed up. The 1 worker takes the order of the 15 people plus more that walked in before making our order. It took around 15 minutes and it wasn’t good at all. $6.45 for the ice cream was for the experience, definitely not the ice cream, and the experience was a bad one.
Was excited to take the kids. Utter disappointment. Wouldn’t let kids watch her roll Ice cream, made something that could be super cool about as boring as she could.Stingy toppings- nothing like online pics or pics around store. Light didn’t work in bathroom, no paper towels (as apparently has been for 5 mos per reviews). We had hoped it would be a regular stop for us, but won’t be back. (Not the best buisness decisions for them as we are a family with 3 kids, and eat plenty of ice cream)
Employee was very rude, got on to my kid for sitting in a chair next to his sister. Her excuse was social distancing but there were others standing in the same area with out a mask and nothing was said. It was clear to me that she was being biased, I just wish it wouldve came before I left a tip. Needless to say, I wont support this business ever again. Ice cream wasnt good either, save your money.
Very disappointed. Don’t get the rolling ice cream. It melts quickly and becomes very slimy. Didn’t taste good either.
Whenever we walked in the cashier was incredibly rude. they did not have chocolate rolled ice cream which was written on their chalkboard menu so they could’ve taken it off but i was pretty reluctant to get anything else because of how rude the server was. This used to be my favorite place.
1 star for the fact that there was no soap in the bathroom and when I brought up to the cashier, she said she would take care of it later. When the place was literally closing in 20 minutes. Is it to much to refill the empty soap bottle in that bathroom???? Just gross dude. Wouldn’t come back again.
I bet alot of other reviews might be right, but personally my experience there wasnt so bad. The icecream looks cool and the toppings looked cool too. Im a fan of icecream and personally, this place aint so bad.
Great selection of smoothies, ice cream and tea. Good service
Class 502 started in Chinatown as a bubble tea spot, and they expanded into rolling ice cream. Now, theyve opened up their second location on Katy Freeway (April 2017)! When youre in the area waiting on a movie nearby or for a comedy show to start at the Improv, this is a great spot to chill and get some bubble tea/ice cream. On my last visit, I ordered the Mango Madness rolling ice cream for $6.45. Its always fun and entertaining to see them preparing their rolling ice cream. Its a cool and unique concept in Houston, and Im happy theyre around. Their bowls are quite large, so you can definitely share it with 2-3 people. It tastes good, but nothing mind blasting. The gimmick is in their preparation and presentation of the ice cream, but Im okay with that!Overall, I do enjoy this place. Im generous with my rating because I really love bubble tea places, and Im happy to see them sprouting up around town. If you want to show an out-of-towner something unique, this is a great place to go for ice cream. At their Bellaire location, I like to order their Jasmine Green Tea; its pretty refreshing. I havent tried the bubble tea here yet, but I am looking forward to it next time I hit up the movies.
This could have only been an unlucky day for me, but the Friday night we went there, the wait was really long. There was only one person in the store -and she was very friendly- fto take care of everything and that really slowed things down. The light in bathroom was broken and there was only a very dim light. The toilet was out of paper towels and hand soap, which was really surprising. I didn’t try the ice cream and they didn’t have the hot drink I wanted, but I am not taking away any stars for it.
We came here for the first time today to try some rolled ice cream after a visit to Dave & Busters. We ordered 3 cookies & cream, 2 strawberries & banana, 1 coffee, 1 chocolate, a coke and a caramel macchiato. It came out to almost $50. Each cup of rolled ice cream came with a strawberry, a strawberry coated stick, a panda cookie, a marshmallow, an M&M, a gummy bear and an Oreo. Each one cost us $6.25 each. The strawberries & banana had a lot more flavor than any of the other ones. The ice cream isnt that creamy. The consistency is more icey and less milky, kind of like gelato which they also sell. We sat down at the first table closest to the door and the entire time we were there, we were riddled with gnats. Some of the other reviews mention the same problem so it seems their suite has a pest problem. Im sure its worse during the summer so hopefully they can get this resolved. Until then we probably wont be coming back. If we do, well be sure to share a cup instead of ordering separately.
Worst experience ever!!! Im a paying customer, the lady makes my rolling icecream, clearly you see she is rushing, I tell her I dont like it, instead of her to say ok let me another one, she proceeds to say Ill refund you. So I Politely say no Im a paying customer make it right. So another person ended up making it. They have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!! I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!!! Not to mention how stingy they are with their toppings!!! Baskin Robins is wayyy better!
Ordered banana split and the bowl was filled with ice cubes and 3small scoops of ice cream with a banana and cool whip. and I also ordered a banana ice cream and asked for fresh banana and they told me no. worse ice cream shop ever dont come here waste of money.
We have two different cups of ice cream yet not a single ounce of quality flavor between them. Both seem as though theyve been in the freezer for months.Mine tastes as if someone took the great value vanilla cream cases that were past their sell by date and just poured some condensed milk over them as if it could cover up the tasteless frozen liquid.I would actually have preferred just having ice over whatever these things are. We tried to consume as much as possible of this overpriced mush but we had to just stop. Truly disgusting.
If I could I could give this place a 0 I would. Even as a child this place was horrible. The customer service was horrible, very rude. The flavors did not even taste good! If you ask for a chocolate panda topping she gives you one small one! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
The restroom had no toilet paper or paper towels. Extremely stingy with toppings, ordering gummies will get you only three gummy bears lol
Currently standing outside of the shop at 12:53p ON Sunday, august 29th and no one is there to service! :(
For a rolling ice cream place, they didn’t know how to roll the ice cream. Sloppy rolls!
WORST Customer service I’ve ever experienced! We were so excited when we spotted the ice cream shop driving by just to arrive to a very unpleasant environment. It’s called Rolling Icecream with only a limited flavor selection for that. Very disappointing. We even asked if she was feeling ok being that she never spoke a word to us when we walked in. We were the only family in the shop. She didn’t even give my daughter her toppings. When I asked for cookie toppings she ignored me. I asked again and she so rudely picked up ONE tiny cookie and dropped it in my daughters ice cream. I will NEVER be taking my kids there again. 4 rolled icecreams, 1 coffee, and 2 drinks. $40 and you can’t even provide no where near a nice experience? Shame on you!!!! If negative stars were an option I’d select -10!!!!! 😡
Bathroom didnt have soap or paper towels... The Asian lady that took my order was very impolite. She got my order wrong. Myself and my 2 kids were the only customers in the place and she served my son his rolled ice cream, very stingy on the topping, and 20 minutes later me and my daughter got our order which was the wrong flavor and not good at all. Horrible experience!!!! Do NOT recommend AT ALL!!!
Worst experienceDont waste your time and money
The Asian lady was so rude and she took forever to make my order. The flavor I got was not very good. Terrible experience, I don’t recommend it.
I wish I could of put a negative star. This rolling ice cream was not good at all. The quality is horrible, it has a oiling after taste. They didnt give me a refund or changed the flavor (I had chocolate) but I would not have taken it either thats how bad it was. There customer service was also bad, they werent even a sorry at it.
Unfortunate this will be our first and last time here. Disappointed with the service let alone the quantity of toppings . We only got 2 m&ms .
Ice cream was not good at all
Decided to stop here for a sweet treat with my girlfriends and kid. It was our first time so we obviously had questions. The people behind the counter were laughing at the questions we had as if we were stupid for asking them. Ended up next door in the candy store for our sweet treat to top off a day of family fun. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
First time here it was cool
First time trying rolling ice cream, the process is very interesting and the taste was good. They also decorate the ice cream with nice goodies. Tried strawberry-peach, it was good but little bit on the sweet side. Also it takes some time to make the ice cream. They have some games to pass time or chill out. They also have bubble teas, will try it next time.
Rude employees. $6.50+up for rolled up ice cream. Nothing new or different about it.I had the manager serve me on my visit. No smile,no greeting, no help. Just made whatever you ordered and on to the next customer quickly. I should have gone to Fizz next door
This place is amazing! Like a cold stone, they make the ice cream right in front of you. They do have some strange flavor combinations tho. They have some fun games to sit and play while your there. Also an out side area to enjoy. If I lived close to it I would say that I will visit again.
If I could give this spot 0 starts I would
Horrible horrible service.
This is the second time we visit because my niece loves the ice cream and the cute Panda cookies. Love the chocolate and strawberry cookies!
They did a real good job on the rolling was very fun to watch i did not know it was Gelato though wasnt as tasty as i was hoping for.
For starters, I think rolled ice does not apply to this place. The sign on the cash register says no refunds if you dont like the flavor. I should have known this place was marginal at best. We thought the flavor would make up for it, but the flavor was just as bad as the presentation. Save your money and go to Nu Ice.
The lady on staff seemed like shed rather be anywhere else. The selections felt limited compared to similar places. Their waffle batter was great
It was delicious 😋😋😋
Great place to meet and catch up with friends. Had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again. The bill was appropriate for the quality.
I hate leave bad review but it was dirty in there and we was the only customer. Our first time there try try there ice cream, which was good but.. the service was not😕 they just walking around talking in different language to each other while was stand patiently waiting. Portion was very small but did taste good. Just wish they had better customer service.
I truly liked it. But its not worth the money. Technically you pay for the show of making the ice cream. Very cute and quite show tho!
My friends and I ordered the Cookies and Cream. While I found the texture to be very smooth and presentation well done, I found the taste to be a little bland. The atmosphere is quite nice although Im not sure about the cleanliness of the establishment. I saw lots of little bugs in the restroom which makes me wonder what else is crawling around in the kitchen.
Toppings are free!Because you only get one, literally one strawberry or one m&m. The ice cream itself was pretty meh.
Ice cream was great. Would definitely recommend. The only negative was the bad smell inside. Might be plumbing but it definitely is not good for a first impression. Thankfully they had a table outside.
The rolled ice cream is crunchy and tasteless. The chocolate bubble cone tastes nothing like chocolate. They have fruit on the display that is not an option. The staff was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. When we asked for more fruit they gave us one strawberry. Overall this place isn’t worth the money and I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Honestly would give this place 0 stars if I could. Very unorganized and was unsatisfied with the service. We immediately just left and didn’t even want to wait that long just for ice cream. I’ve been to many other ice cream places where service was better and they were very quick-paced with making the ice cream.
I went here with some friends and my husband and I didnt even end up ordering anything (and ice cream is my favorite), though my friends did. We tasted several flavors of the gelato as thats what we planned to order and it tasted artificial and weird. There are no clear prices on half of the things they serve and when we asked, they had to check the register to even find the price (and at least one employee didnt know words like price or flavor so it was difficult to communicate at times). Theres nothing to explain the rolled ice cream. It appears that you dont even choose your own toppings? They just have some weird mix of toppings like flavored marshmallows, peanut m&ms, and other candies that they put on for everyone? One employee gave my friend the wrong order initially, and then after she scooped up her order she left it behind the counter out of reach. After several minutes her husband finally asked another employee if he could hand it to her. There was a long line, and at first I thought it was because it was popular, but now Im thinking its because everything is so inefficient and complicated. It is a nice touch that they have games there for people to play.
Service was pretty good, the taste and atmosphere was great. Recommend the mango madness. Everything was running smooth up until we saw a little mouse running across the room. No one seemed to react other than my group of friends and I.
Staff is always timely even when they have a full house. I had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. Prices were reasonable.
The rolling ice cream concept is super cool, and watching the employees make each cup of ice cream is a highlight. But, and this is a big one, the ice cream just wasnt that tasty. It lacked a lot of flavor. For over $6, youre better off stopping at 502 Rolling Ice Cream and watching for a few minutes, then going to a grocery store and buying a half gallon of Blue Bell.
The flavors are nasty. The environment is too noisy and the tables are sticky. You cannot come here and have a sit to eat ice cream, you wanna run really fast from that place after order. Do not go there.
Service was good and kids would love watching it being made but honestly the most bland ice cream i have ever had. I paid the same price for the cup as half a gallon of Blue Bell and it tasted worse than Blue Bunny. Im only giving 3 stars because of service and the show.
Expensive and customer service lacks tremendously. Worker looked irritated that I was asking questions and even more so when I asked to try a flavor before I spent $3 on the tiniest scoop of ice cream ever!!
Great place, it was really cool being able to see how they roll the ice cream. Love the little treats they added on top.
Just dont waist your time or money
The fool was super appetizing. Prices are decent. Menu is like a place in San Francisco I liked.
The place has a drain smell, rolls are not even made with milk, customer service sucks. The guy making the rolls is super slow, hardly understands English. Rolls are made with water and ice cream. The taste is just not good at all. Never going back.
Visited about four, it was not full. Ill return with my relatives. The place has a good atmosphere. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I liked.
Nothing made natural...no fruit toppings....I asked for it to be made just like the picture they are advertising...and was told the pics were from 2yrs ago...Came all this way for nothing...I do not recommend this place...
It wasnt the BEST ice cream i ever tasted. I ordered a banana split and it was served over ice and in my opinion it was too small to pay 9 dollars.
Wished i could put zero stars. The menu was very lacking, the ice cream was overpriced, and the service was just plain horrible. I can see why the place was completely empty.... Even a spoon on the floor with melting ice cream left for who knows how long. Rudest cashier ive ever encountered.
The ice cream is bland. They are very stingy with toppings, as If paying $6.45 for an ice cream bowl wasnt a rip off already.
It was fun and tasted good, but myself and 4 friends were violently sick only hours later. Beware!!!***update: the health inspector looked into the complaint and no issues were found that day. Must have been a bad batch.
I got mango peach and it was super delicious and creamy! The staff was very efficient and nice. Will be coming back to try more flavors!
They GOT your Flavor there i BET on IT... #GOOD
They did not have cookies and cream or chocolate chip. They took a long time to come to the register to service us. Its way too cold in there as you eat your icecream and the wooden chairs are very loose and shaky. Plastic white chairs are stained, restrooms were nasty. I do not recommend this place and will never return. Marble Slab it is for now on.
It was so savory. Quick, helpful, and friendly service. It has a cool interior.
Ice cream was tasteless, service was horrible, and the place smelled like a sewer. Not to mention it’s overpriced. It left a weird film on my tongue. Will never come back here.
Took my niece there from David Busters got one scoop of ice cream because shes a child and the guy got mad. He ran my card I said thank you he walked off and said sign. I was walking out and said thank you this time loud and again he didnt say anything back no thank you nothing. Not really a feelings guy but I feel energy so will not be back there.
This is not what you call rolled icecream. There was no fresh fruit and barely any toppings. The icecream itself tasted waterd down and it was not freshly made with milk like im used too. Would not recommend unless you want to be dissapointed and pay a lot.
Ice cream is good. Bit pricey but good overall.
Had the mango and the strawberry peach rolled icecream. Very fresh and light. They also have gelato which was really good as well. Location had great staff and was very clean.
Very cool to see rolling ice cream made. Lots of topping and great style. Ice cream tasted just like ice cream.
We stopped by class 502 after a movie at the marque, long story short, didnt even taste like ice cream, staff is not friendly and the ingredients are not quality. Very overpriced for what you get...we went as a group of 5 and only one of the rolled ice cream was eaten, the rest were thrown away because no one could bear the taste.
Oh honey, the floors were dirty, they were playing YouTube on the tv which normally I don’t mind but they paused it the minute me and my wife sat down so we had to eat in utter silence and the ice cream was terribleThey need to sweep up, stock and brighten up. This store was nothing like the 502 that closed down, it’s waaaay worse
I think the coffee ice cream needs more flavorNext time I will try the fruit flavors
It really delicious ice cream ! The strawberry, cookies and cream and well japanese green tea! Amazing! Love looking whenever the employees doing the ice cream!
