I just want to share my first time experience with Hermès Houston. It was super pleasant! Everyone was nice & welcoming. I came on a weekday so no appointment was needed. The SA who helped me was Michael Chang. He was so personal & patient! I shared with him it was my first experience with Hermès & wanted to learn about all things. He spent so much time with me, educating me about difference leather types (pros and cons) & also their services. I LOVE LOVE leather & good craftsmanship so it was so enjoyable for me to learn more about the brand & what they have to offer. I ended up leaving with a few things that been on my list! 5 star experience for me. Makes me excited to come back! :)

Do you know where Hermes bags are made and what material? Well if you don’t know and care about our Planet, animals and equality, then you need to research where Hermes products are made. In Australia over 3000 crocodiles are killed every year inhumanely for their skin, sometimes they are skinned alive and are locked up in cages for most of their life not having a chance to live. If you buy Hermes you contribute to cruel industry practices.

Monday morning, empty streets. I got to the doors, there’s a sign that they accept “by appointment only, minimum 24 notice”. The staff inside sees me standing by the door and there’s ABSOLUTELY ZERO REACTION. I tried to call the number provided, twice, while standing by the door. No one answered. The staff continued to ignore my presence, no one came out to even ask me if I had appointment. They all had nothing to do, no customers inside. No wonder. Of course I left. I thought I’ve seen all sorts of BS...

Xmas was a busy time. They put in place the appointment policy. Fine. Covid we all got it.But today???They should limit the store to I don’t know 5 people?! And we can eventually queue outside?Their appointment policy cuts the spontaneity of visiting a store that has nearly no one! Not to mention the low stock of perfumes and jewels. You want to try something they don’t have it you have to order it... come on.Was lucky enough to order and retrieve a perfume out of stock since Xmas without appointment but it really was because I knew what I wanted.They couldn’t get rid of me fast enough. And I waited around 10 mins to see... nobody came in.Really not a Hermes Paris experience. I am French, I have known the house for more than 40 years before it became global ... ☹️ It shouldn’t be this way... next door you can walk in Dior and any other store. 😞

We walked in. Nobody greeted us. The ac was not working, there were fans all over the floor. We literally could not find a sales associate to help us. Just unacceptable.

I bought my girlfriend a bracelet as a grad gift but it did not fit her wrist so we have now gone to the store twice during business hours and they have been “closed” for different reasons. Each time I saw people inside the store shopping and was turned away rudely

DISCRIMINATION IN THE STOREI really had a bad experience before entering into the store.I called in advance to make my order by phone and the sales guy (Sean) was really helpful because it was a last minute gift I had to get, he told me he would leave ready my order and just had to walk into the store to get it.I arrived at 5:30pm and the store closes at 6pm and the security guard told me I did not have an appointment and non of the sales representatives were available to assist me, plus someone would come for their appointment at 5:30pm and if they come to their appointment, I would not be able to get my purchase ready for today. I kindly asked him if it was possible to wait outside and see if some sales representative could assist me after any of their clients were done or if they could help me if the next appointment did not arrive into the store and he looked at me like I was crazy but said YES. Then at 5:45pm one client walked out from the store and no one else came in, so the Security guard walked out and said that non one was available to help me and I was not able even able to walk into the store, I kindly asked him AGAIN if he could ask any sales representative inside if they had my gift ready and he kept saying NO you have to leave and come next time by appointment only, he did not even said Sorry to me, really rude guy, plus I went with my mom who is 69 years old.I really felt DISCRIMINATED BY HIM, and I think this is a big issue in that store.At the end I had to call inside the store and Sean answered the phone and he told the Security guard to let me in, and finally I did my purchase of over $900.I really felt the Discrimination from that security guard and I would not come back into the store any soon, rather prefer to go to different stores.Please change your security services.

Great customer service they do not rush you like in Europe at times. Our sales associate was very well informed on product knowledge and assisted in finding the right bracelets that we were looking for and even exchanged them without any issues.

They have the best service ever, all the negative comments coming from Rich people who will complain about anything and everything, they will give a bad review just because one of the workers didn’t open the door for them !!! Really!!! They just want to be treated like Rich. Come on we are all humans we are the same....

I went here with my husband to purchase a necklace. I was planning on purchasing it online but it was no longer available. The moment we walked in, we were greeted not just one but multiple SA. It was a very pleasant experience. The lady who helped me out found the necklace and I was able to choose between a Birkin and Kelly. I decided to purchase the Birkin. It was beautiful. I will definitely return to this location.

ROBERT CHAVEZ, you should be ashamed of your Hermès Houston location. Your impolite staff prioritizes huddling around the cash register & chatting amongst each other than providing assistance to customers. After being in your store for over 5 minutes your employees continued to ignore me & delayed service. When I asked your employee to bring me a size they responded with verbatim “uh do you just want to look at it or...” I have never experienced such atrocious customer service in my entire life. Although I will NEVER be purchasing another Hermès product, I recommend you invest in sales etiquette training for your staff.As well as a customer service program for your store managers who have the greatest impact on setting the precedent for employee engagement. This approach will aid your business in strengthening company culture & increasing customer retention in the future.

The WORST return policy! I bought two bracelets a couple of days before Christmas. With the Sales Associate help, he recommended the small size for both gifts with assurance they could exchange for another size. After Christmas, they did not have another size in stock and would not be getting any in. DO NOT BE TAKEN BY THE LIES THE SALES ASSOCIATES TELL YOU BEFORE THE PURCHASE! The Sales Associate knew the bracelets were out of stock for the other sizes and just plained lied.to get a sale.

The staff takes the time to help you find exactly what you are looking for. They dont try to talk you into buying something off the shelf if its not what you came for. I had a very specific colour I was looking for in a Kelly. It was from two seasons ago but the SA was able to locate one at another location and within the week I had the exact bag to replace the one that was seriously damaged during the hurricane floods. The same one that I had borrowed from my best friend only a week before the storm. I cant tell you how important it was to me to find this exact bag and the help of everyone at Hermés will not soon be forgotten.

Return policy is horrible!!! I bought a scarf with my credit card. And then, I returned it within 30 days. They told me that they can’t refund it back to my credit card! I only can exchange it or get a store credit. I’ve never heard a return policy like this. I suspected it’s probably because the sales assistant doesn’t want to loss commission from refund. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!

They were very helpful. I was looking for a product online and they did not have it. So I called in and asked if I could buy it online, they asked if I had tried to look online and I said that I did but it did not show up online. They are not suppose to let people order over the phone but they let me. They had amazing customer service.

Products are 5 stars but the sales associates were too casual at this store. On their phones texting, snooty, and not very friendly. Also did not feel comfortable when you have 5 security guys looking at you when youre the only person in the store. Not a pleasant, high-end experience.

Most of the sales assistants were standing around texting not waiting on anyone. How well does that pay? I was in to purchase the giant Avalon blanket and pillow covers. Decided I would just make the purchase online. Loss commission.

UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!!!On Saturday, November 7th at the 1800 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX location @3:30pm. Myself and my mother came into contact with a not so helpful person in your store. Our shopping experience was below what we expected for a location that holds great prestige.My visit began with coming in to our location where I opened the door myself and walked to the perfure collection. Intially, I came in to purchase my favorite fragrance Hermes Elixir. There was a man suited in all black around the area. I asked for assistance. He proceeded to give me the one minute finger, without saying a word and walked away. My mother looked at me and I glaced at her for a moment in confusion due to the fact I have never experience that from someone I assumed worked there. A few seconds later two white women came in and they were greeted and helped within seconds of entering. Soon after another gentleman can to assist us. I inquired about pricing and he went to check. My mother went to browse over the bangles and she asked if they were a set and the guy said no they come indivdually. I asked a question, What are they made out of? He stated gold! I said for that much? He said, what did you expect, if it was real gold it would be much more than that!? In a tone that was in a manner of are you stupid and you cant afford this if you think its gold. At that point I was over my shopping experience.I decided not to purchse anything and as we started walking out. I opened the door to leave as I did when I came in. Began walking towards to Wine lounge for mid-day lunch. My mother was behind me, and I looked back, the same African American male in the all black was letting a white woman out and then another man.As many times as I have shopped around in the more higher end of designers. I can say I have NEVER been treated in such a manner. I am still irriated about my experience and feeling in some way discriminated and unwanted at this store location.
