The Quality of work is unmatched in the Houston area especially for the Price. Karl really knows what he is doing and he is fast. My son had a problem with his oboe on Sunday morning. He had to practice for a test the next day. Glad I found this place. Karl is very professional and courteous. He waited a full 15 minutes even though it was time for him to leave. And he patiently fixed my sons oboe. He knows the instruments. He has a fine workshop with all tools. He is also good at improvising tools to help him repair. That shows how well he knows the instruments he repairs. You need to look at his workshop to know how passionate he is about his work. Karl is amazing! My professional-level piccolo just wasnt playing right and I had taken it to a different shop twice without any improvement. Then at a rehearsal a spring popped out and I needed an emergency fix. Karl was kind enough to let me come by the next day to look at it. He tinkered with it for about 10 minutes and it was back to perfect. I will never take my instruments to anyone else.

So superb, in fact, that Im willing to drive from New Orleans to Houston to take advantage of such high quality repair at such a fair price.My most recent experience was with a 1969 Conn 12M baritone saxophone. It was missing the neck and hadnt been played in well over 20 years. Not only did Karl have a neck for the horn, but he transformed what I thought to be a lost cause into a beautiful instrument that I would happily play onstage any time! And for such a great price!!!!You wont find a nicer instrument repairman anywhere. Take your business to Inhorn and you wont be disappointed!

Brought my flute out of storage for some TLC. I was very happy with the price I was quoted.
