Lots of threads and canvases to choose from here. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful.

Another one of my favorite places, they have some really great supplies. I was able to find the perfect color thread that I needed. I’m so excited that during my pregnancy I have a lot of beautiful needlepoint to work on. The Teal colors I got are wonderful, the location of the shop is great and I actually love walking the stairs.

This place is incredible. Canvas and thread selections are amazing, and the staff is very helpful. They offer classes monthly. Ill be back!

I love this little store. My Mom does needlepoint and I wanted to buy her some nice stuff for Christmas but I know nothing about needlepoint. The staff helped my select a few nice things that fit in my budget. I think Mom is really going to love Christmas morning this year. Thanks Charlie

I will definitely not recommend this store. I felt very taken advantage of when I met with the shop owner and explained that I had not done needlepoint since I was a child and would like to try something small and easy with a few different stitches. She directed me to a canvas and pulled some threads to show me stitches. It was totally my fault for not asking price first but I thought my explanation of wanting to try something to see if I liked it might have explained that. At the register the canvas rang up for $210, not exactly a beginner price point. Because we had done a few stitches I felt I could not say no to it but I probably should have. I dont believe this is a good way to start a new customer relationship and I will not return there or recommend it to anyone.

Such a warm little needlework shop. Gorgeous canvases and just about all of the accessories one could need. They seemed to have all of the themes covered and I will certainly have to go back.

I find Chandail a wonderful shop for needlepointers. The owner is knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. She has stayed after closing time to help me with threads and stitches. The prices are easy to read b/c they are on the canvases and the thread selection is amazing, too.

Best thread shop in Houston. So many unique threads, hard to find stuff. Goldwork supplies too!

I LOVE Chandail Needleworks and Saira, the owner. The quality of my needlework has improved so much under her guidance. She is kind, creative, and patient, not only with me, but with EVERYONE Ive ever seen her with. There is no better needlepoint shop!

Very nice shop. Saira is very helpful, and has a good eye for unique stitches that show off your needlework.
