One of my favorite places in Houston to get needlepoint. I have been working on my needle point a lot and this place has some beautiful colors. The ladies here are very helpful and during the pandemic have done a great job with bringing curb side service. If you do needlepoint this place is a must!

Great variety of canvases and threads. Everyone is always there to help you have a special looking finished product.

Excellent staff who have been knowledgeable and patiently helpful to this novice. Dodie and Karen have been incredible instructors. Their comprehensive knowledge and great taste have instilled a passion in this hobby. Also, a huge thank you to all the wonderful fellow needlepointers / students for creating a lovely camaraderie.

As a needlepoint store owner in Dallas, its always so much fun when traveling, to visit other needlepoint stores and Chaparral Needlepoint did not disappoint! Those shop girls and owner, Sally Anne are the best! Wonderful store!

This store has a great and comprehensive selection of needlepoint supplies. But their staff was extremely rude to us, offered sarcastic or unhelpful responses to our request for advice and tried their best to get us to leave the store as soon as possible. They were much nicer to the other customers who came in. Sadly, the only difference between us and the other customers was that we were a family of color. What a shame to encounter such racist treatment in the heart of Houston,

Wonderful place to shop for all things needlepoint. The staff is very knowledgeable and eager to sssist. Their teaching staff and classes are extraordinarily good.
