Extremely nice, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Came in for the first time a few months back, I was helped to find what I needed to make my project. Joanns, Michaels and Walmart offer cheaper yarns, but you get the quality you pay for in the end. At Nimblefingers I found a beautiful alpaca and silk mix and the bunny eared coat I crocheted came out fantastic with it. Will be going back for materials my next project soon!

While visiting from Michigan, I came upon this awesome shop that had everything I wanted. Needlepoint and knitting. It is a beautiful shop and the owner was very accommodating giving me recommendations for shops that may be close to my home. I’m looking forward to visiting this shop again and taking lessons.

Very cute store! Organized and clean and very aesthetically pleasing. Had some good deals and a full range of fibers. Id be down to go back again. They had a clearance section which is always good in high end yarn shops. We were greeted when we entered, very friendly. Definitely on my list of going back soon! If youre looking for a nice, relaxing space this is it. The shop seems to keep very beautiful colors and selections. The person that worked there even took the time to let me know that there were workshops that help if youre working on a project or to learn. A plus!

Had a lovely visit during the Texas yarn trail yesterday and everyone was so helpful and sweet they had so much cool information about their store while I was there. Ill try to make it back next time im in the area.

Fun fun fun! First visit yesterday, with a friend, and found it very enjoyable. This is a small store in some ways, yet large in others, with two parts as you come in the door - go left for needlepoint, embroidery, and beadwork, or go right for knitting and crochet supplies. Both areas have a large sitting space and room for workers and classes, and during my visit both were occupied, which I found charming. A wide range of yarns; thats not my area so I cant speak with expertise but the colours were gorgeous and the quality was clear. My friend, who is a knitter, found everything she wanted. Service was friendly and we were even given a free gift, some starter kits for two kids were teaching crafting to. Great first experience and will definitely return!

The owner is very knowledgeable and the seevice is great. There is a good inventory of threads and yarns for needlepoint and knitting. Its my must do stop when Im in Houston.

Sweet little yarn store. Half the store is yarn and notions while the other half is needlepoint. Both sides have friendly and helpful staff. I would go here again should I get the chance.

Wonderful needlepoint and knitting shop in the neighborhood. Lots of canvases, threads and tools for needlepoint or any stitching. Lots of yarns and tools for knitting . Classes for both and friendly people. Shop is also expanding ;~)

Nimblefingers is one of the nicer local yarn stores in Texas I’ve been to. The staff was attentive, caring, and absolutely delightful. The selection was colorful and had a variety of different weights, material, and a good selection of indie dyes. I do most of my shopping online so I don’t know how to compare selection sizes, but I was thrilled with how much yarn and needlepoint supplies were here. I was even offered the ability to have my skeins caked for me which was awesome. I definitely have to make a trip every time i’m in houston!

Will never use them again. Will not do returns. What kind of customer appreciation is that? Especially with yarn you always get too many to make sure you have enough. Very bad policy.

Im not sure about previous reviews, but I have been to this store many times over the last few months... Nimblefingers is great. The staff is very helpful if you need them. Otherwise, they leave you alone to browse & find just what you need for your projects. 1/2 the store is meeting area & cross-stitch, the back half is all yarn. Very good selection of both. The store might not be as big as others in the Houston metro area, but good selection none the less. I am a current patron of this shop & enjoy going there.

Can anybody tell me about the classes ? Im really interested in learning how to knit I have no experience .

Great selection of quality yarn at a reasonable price.

Great variety of needlework supplies, but I have to admit I was surprised by the high prices. And then again, I am not sure any small business could survive without those.
