Chase is always so helpful with me getting my car in. I try to do the work myself or take my cars to A&J. They dont mess around or waste your time on things you dont need. They will go above and beyond, in many different ways, to get your car done in a timely manner and at fair prices. Of the dozens of times my cars have been in their shops, only once has a part ever failed (an alternator belt), but of course they warranty work and parts that they use.If you are trying to find a local mechanic for your car who will take care of you without the classic hassles of long wait times, price gouging, or inability to complete what they have started: look no further. These guys take care of business.

Took my 2003 CRV to have the AC system evacuated after talking to them by phone, and then showing up a day ahead of time to request the service. The guy managing the lobby told me to come back tomorrow, as he was too busy when I showed-up. I asked him what time he opened and said at 8:00 am, and I said that I would return in the morning. I showed up at 8:00 am and requested the service from the same guy, who said he did not remember talking to me the day before. And also said that he was running ½ day behind. So, I left, as I’m not willing to trust someone who made arrangements with me the day before, then claims he does not remember.I know the service I requested was not a big priority with this shop, but being disingenuous about our discussion a day before, left me not wanting to do business with this shop.

I took my 2004 Ford Expedition in for an alignment after going to another brand name chain. The chain said we had to fix other things besides an alignment for around $300. We took the Expedition into A & J Automotive. They said our car was in great shape and only needed an alignment. My neighbors recommended A & J Automotive. Im so glad they did, saved us $300. They were very quick and professional.

Honest and quality are 2 true adjectives that can describe A&J. I have brought all my cars to this location for many years Im not mechanically inclined so Im one of the ones that takes a car to a shop and says fix it and hopes Im not ripped off. There have been many times where I feel there is something wrong with my car they check it out and they have told me nothing needs to be done. One time I took my Camaro to get the brakes replaced I was quoted over $1,000 to have them replaced while I was out of town, however I got it done for under $500 at A&J. My wife who took her truck to get her brakes replaced who had never been there with me and I was out of town at this time. When she dropped her truck off they called her a little time later letting her know her brakes are fine that they did not need to be replaced. That is honesty that you just dont find especially in the automotive business. Theres a reason theyve been around for a long time because theyre honest and they have a customer for as long as they are there, and I dont recommend a whole lot of places but I do this time. Been coming here for over a decade and appreciatee their service and courtesy for years, but recent events in the past years have left me discouraged from wanting to do business with them.Had transmission work done on a used car that I bought and got it back just to have it where I had a real hard time downshifting to either 1st or 2nd because the transmission and shifter were out of allignment. Had to argue with them for days just to have them fix it. They stood by it and honored their mistake, but claiming the customer is wrong and sticking by it isnt a good look.Brought a truck in for some basic work. A mechanic working there allegedy reprogrammed the radio to listen to music and filled the tires to around 80psi which is the max psi for that type of tire which is extemely dangerous. They fixed it once again, but still not a good look.Had the same truck brought in for insurance work recently after they claimed they would handle it as they did the last time we brought it in to have the steering column and busted locks repaired. They held onto the truck for nearly two weeks, refused to communicate with anyone and told us that they wont help file the claim despite having worked with adjusters the last time around. They told us we needed to remove the truck from their shop or else so we obliged to have it towed to another shop that is handling it much better than they are.I cannot recommend this shop as the people working there are rude and unprofessional all while charging increasingly absurd prices that make dealers look cheap. Take your vehicle elsewhere.

Took our pickup truck in for a oil leak, had another auto shop tell us it needed to have an O ring replaced. AJs found it was the gasket on the oil filter. They changed the oil. Was charged only for the oil change. We have had all our cars inspection done here for years. They are so honest and professional.

I was referred to A&J Automotive by a friend who was their client. She told me that they were very honest and competent mechanics. I have been going to them now for about two years and agree completely, that these guys are wonderful and trustworthy. I like these guys because I feel like theyre the only ones Ive been to that dont go looking for problems with my car. They mention things they notice that are legitimately dangerous, or anything that they notice as they are working on another part of the car, but if I get an oil change they dont go checking my CV boots. Their prices are reasonable, and their service is fast and friendly. They are also the only place Ive been to so far that has encouraged me to do a repair on my own and dont treat me like a child. Ive recommended them to multiple friends who have all been happy with the service.

I got an old change at A and J Automotive. When I took my car in for the oil change they were very nice and welcoming, they got my car right in and I was out of there in no time. They also checked out my car for me to made sure everything was running properly. I will defiantly go back there. Very nice customer service and I could tell they knew what they were doing and were honest.

I dont know how this shop is still in business. After taking our jeep there to be worked on, we were told it was perfectly fine to drive. We ended up stranded on the side of the road over an hour from the shop. The jeep was right back where it was when we took it in. Absolutely nothing was better. After another week in the shop, they were still unsure exactly what was going on. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I looked and called a couple places to get a quote to fix my car! He gave me a quote and gave me a second opinion on what was wrong with my car. The other place I got it looked at wanted to replace something that didnt need to be fixed. This place found the problems and gave me a very reasonable price to fix two problems I have with my car! The owner was very nice and they were quick to get my car looked at and fixed!!! I would recommend this place to anyone!! They did a very good job!

I was buying a truck in the area and needed a pre-purchase inspection on the vehicle in question. They were very nice and informative, $98 for the inspection well worth it. They took me in the back had the truck on a lift and talked me through what they found. Its a must do when buying a used auto. They can assess the value of the car so that youre not over paying.

I went in with no information to give them besides that a warning light was coming on in my car. They were able to find and diagnose the problem.

Well I dont like doing reviews like this, but I cant let it go since I was pretty upset after going to another shop for a second opinion.I came here because I was really surprise that a business had 5 stars. Obviously that drawn me to them get serviced. I initially went to them to get my AC check. Reason for the check is because my AC was not blowing cold but was coolish, so that tells me there is a freon leak. Before I arrived and 100% that the AC compressor turned on I explained to the rep what the issue was and that the AC still turned on but was blowing cool air. After about 35 mins or so I got it back and they told me they couldnt get any freon into the AC compressor and it needed to be replace. I was puzzled!! INTEGRITY checked!! SO I decided to see what they were going to quote me for a new system. Not going to say the price or post the quote on here but I know for sure that it was a little more then what the dealership would of charged me. I took off and tested my AC again and the compressor would not turn on. I called them back and they told me it didnt turn on when they received it!!! INTEGRITY check again. I got off the phone pretty pissed. Almost a month later later I decided to go to another shop for a second opinion. What do you know, they got freon in it and the compressor worked!!! Turn out to be only a few O rings that needed to be replace. I HAVE COLD AIR AND PAID LESS THEN $150 dollars. I know not everyone will have the same experience as I did but I will say educate yourself before you go to any shop. With the reviews they have, I am guessing they do good work and have great customer service. My experience was not so. My apology to the shop for this but you guys did really try to take me for a fool.

Had all four disc brakes replaced at a reasonable price. The quoted $3850 to repair the A/C! I had the work done at THE SHOP for $1250... Dont take your vehicle here unless you like paying TRIPLE!!!

I went up to the shop to get both of my vehicles serviced and a steering pump fixed on my car. I was told by 2 people that i could put everything on 1 ticket. The car parts were so expensive ( bought directly from the dealer) so i was told on the phone that they would help me out with my truck parts and labor so it was not so expensive. I walk in after they do $900 worth of work on my car and tell me they will not honor the agreement for 1 ticket nor will i get any discounts or help. I believe in integrity and a mans word. These people have ZERO integrity and how they are in business acting like this im very surprised. i do not expect any handouts, i just expect people to honor their word..

I have had excellent and quick service every time I have been there. I also have always been treated with friendly respect. The owners often work the desk and are great to deal with.

Didnt get anything major done just a diagnotics check because i believed my car had a problem. However, they couldnt find any problem so they told me to hold off and bring it back to them immediately when it did cause a problem. Usually a place would say all kinds of things to take your money but this place is Truthful and Honest. I will definitely be going to this place if anything happens.
