It would be nice to be able to trust the people working on your vehicle.But no whoever worked with my vehicle stole money out of my vehicle. Even though it wasnt much that definitely will make me choose another location because clearly I cant trust them.Its the principal of the situation
Robert Coronado is by far the most disrespectful and unprofessional individual I’ve ever met! He doesn’t know what he’s doing to begin with nor does he know anything about Toyota’s! He’s apparently a manager(so he said) but can’t even manage his own inventory correctly! Also every time me or my husband asked him a question he said he has to check because he doesn’t know! If you’re a manager you should already know! I believe he’s out dated for his position or he needs to step down or be fired he’s extremely fake as well, he’s not genuine and made me and my husband feel unimportant! I will never come back to Tejas Toyota because of Robert CoronadoHe’s a short disaster.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My mom bought her 2006 Avalon here early August after a nearby mechanic was too incompetent to fix it even though he had it at his shop almost a month. She paid for a diagnostic and gave them the background of the original problem, what the 1st mechanic thought the problem was (electrical/programming), and what he claimed he had done. Tejas did the diagnostic which showed a problem with coil pack(s) and said all 6 would need to be replaced. Yet instead of starting with the problem identified, Advisor Don Waters said they needed to do additional diagnostic (manual/electrical) and it would be ~$500 just for them to START and could ultimately costs up to $2500 depending on how long it took for them find the issue since this would be an hourly rate. Mind you, this didnt include the actual repair. I felt they were going to drag out the process just to make more money (as many dealerships do when it comes to hourly labor) so I suggested to my mom that she not proceed with them. So I called AAA and had her car towed to her house until we could find a reasonable and trustworthy mechanic. Fast forward to last week, my mom contacted a family friends mobile mechanic and he had her car fixed in less than 3 hours... guess what it was... A single coil pack that was bad... total cost was LESS THAN $375, including labor, parts, and mobile and after hour fees. Tejas, if you read this, you are CROOKS! You were going to try and bilk my mom by claiming several hours of diagnostic labor and probably a fake electrical fix and reprogramming... I know it and you do too (otherwise you would have started with the issue YOUR equipment identified ). If you choose to respond to this be sure to check with your service advisors first... Ive given enough detail where they can locate my moms name and diagnostic ticket and they should remember me coming in on a Sat to request a refund on her behalf (I came in because my mom didnt want to get more frustrated) because there was some confusion regarding how they handled the diagnostic. I had to request the printed report as they failed to provide it to her so I have both the $160 diagnostic report showing coil pack as the issue as well as the quote for the $500 additional diagnostic. Obviously, I DONT recommend using Tejas service dept... unlike me, my mom doesnt take the time to read reviews... hopefully this experience will change that because if shed read the reviews on here first, she probably wouldnt have chanced using Tejas. Unfortunately I assume all mechanics are crooks until proven otherwise, due to experiences like this. Its a shame how dishonest this industry is so when you find a competent and fair mechanic hold on to them like your life depends on it.

Excellent service and very professional. Albert was my facilitator he made everything easy. Bring your car in for service is not pleasant but Albert set up everything including a transport to work and back to the Dealership. My driver was outstanding as well.

Hands down the absolute worst experiences I have ever had in the customer service industry!I signed a lease is for 36-months and 30,000 miles. I was under the impression that the lease was for 36-months and 36,000 miles. I informed the sales associate handling my lease that 36,000 miles would very likely not be enough while discussing lease options. The sales associate never mentioned that 45,000 miles was even an option. I called to find out if I could amend my contract to the 45,000-mile option. This is when I found out that on top of everything else that they messed up on putting my lease at the 30,000-mile vs. the 36,000-mile option. I had to make 16 calls to Tejas Toyota within two days of the lease. I was told multiple times that I would be called back but never was. I was left on hold several times for excessive periods. I was even hung up on three different times. Finally I was able to talk to a manager who agreed to sign a document(that I had to put together...)saying that they would wave the over mileage fees to make up the difference of the 6,000 miles. It has now been a month and after sending the document to him several times he still has not signed it; he hasnt even responded to me in weeks! If I could go back in time I would have never walked in those front doors! Save yourself the trouble and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!P.S. It was so bad that it caused me to leave my first review on anything. Good or bad.Its been 3 weeks since I originally posted this review and I STILL havent received any response from anyone. The only person who gave any kind of quality service and seemed to care about whats been going on is the super sweet girl who answers the phone up front.

I am somewhat an authority as I back into, run over, or somehow damage my truck without moving it in our garage. I have been going to Tejas Collision for over 13 years. I keep going back as I have confidence and trust in Eric Henderson. My husband and I have each had a collision in that time frame, but I never fret when a bike falls into my truck in our garage, a shopping cart nails my bumper, I back into the housekeeper’s truck, I back into a mail box doing a turnaround, and many more instances of damage to my or my husband’s vehicles.
I like this dealer but they need to tighten up their service department up a bit. I found a pair of pliers a couple of years ago laying in my engine compartment after an oil change which luckily I found because I always check my oil level before I leave the dealer and most recently I had a service advisor call me and tell me they did not bill me from a battery that I had replaced under warranty almost 2 months ago. I have no problem paying but what upset me is that the service advisor told me his boss was going to take the money out of his check if he did not collect. Im a business owner and would never treat my employees that way over a petty dollar amount of 78 bucks. Mistakes are going to happen and I just feel upper management handled it wrong. A letter in the mail would have been much more appropriate in my opinion. Buy hey what do I know because I dont run a multimillion dollar dealer. See ya at the next oil change.
I have been looking for over two years for a new vehicle, a Toyota vehicle. I went in with two choices and two different body styles. Ignacio was very helpful and throurough with the sale. I looked at three dealerships, and Tejas kept bringing me back. My husband purchased his Tacoma through Tejas three years ago and that strengthened my choice with using them. Love my new vehicle and will recommend everyone to you guys!Keep up the great work!
I was highly disappointed when I came in for service today. I made an appointment ahead of time for an oil change. It took over two hours. I understand they may be short staffed but then do not make appointments for service if it is going to take over two hours.
This is my third visit here. I was not very pleased the last time.. I must say this time was excellent. I was in & out.They explained everything in detail. Answered all my question & I didnt have to walk the full lot to find my car. Thank you Tejas Toyota. Keep up the good work.
I bought my Toyota from Tejas Toyota because the dealership is close to my home. I must say that they have gone out of their way to make every aspect of ownership easy for me. First and foremost I feel that each member of the Tejas team is my friend. Since I am an elderly widow this is extremely important to me.
Very disappointed in the service I received today. Took my car for an oil change and it took 3 hours for my car to be done. When I went to see if my car was ready, I found the guy who helped me when I dropped it off and he asked me who helped me and I said you! He was not very friendly. The only reason we take our cars to be serviced at this dealership is because Kim but she is no longer working there. After the service I got today, it will be the last time.

The sales went well 👌. The financing is where the problem came. We told them where we wanted financing and they came back with a high interest rate and then said we could get a better interest rate if we got a 12k mile warranty that came with the GAP insurance but charged us for both??? Wont use their financing again!!!
Worst service ever. I came for an oil change and an issue with my truck feeling it was going to stall. I mentioned the tech not to rotate the tires since I knew an alignment was needed Technician recommended a $160 diagnosis exam. I Agee since it will go towards repair or findings They call me back to let me know that it needed an alignment they rotated the tires and stalling feelings when away. When I arrived to tejas Toyota they were going to charge me for the alignment and the diagnostic. I complain about the charge that it should be included with the diagnostic. They stated that my initial complaint was the stalling feeling on the truck that was a completely issue. I request to speak to a manager, when he arrived he was attempting not knowing what was going on so I explain my concern about Tejas Toyota attempting to double charge me. That if I agree to pay for a diagnosis regardless what the outcome and I decide to fix their findings it should be part of the diagnostic repairs. After a back and forth argument I finally told the manager that I was not asking or requesting more that what I was entitled to. And they are the ones that offered the over expensive diagnostic in the first place.I have driven Toyota vehicles since the 90’s and deal with many dealerships but this one it has been the worst to deal with. I know it has been a bad year for the dealership since there is no vehicle to sell but we all have issues one way or another. But attempting to double charge me. BIG mistake Big mistake. They lost me, my family, friends and coworkers, they will not purchase or service their vehicles at this dealership anymore.
They are very detailed with what your vehicle needs. And do not pressure you to pay for services that you are not ready for. Example; I had 4 things on my list that my car needed and they were okay with me just getting 2 of them done without being so pushy. They just informed me what was more important:)
Omar was very helpful and handled what needed to get done. But the windshield repair was not done very well. They didnt even clean around the damage and left gunk on the window.
I absolutely love my CHR from here. The process of getting it was a bit of a pain. But everyone in sales was very friendly. As far as maintenance goes it’s very unorganized, I had no clue where I needed to go or what I needed to do and the maintenance guys really didn’t care about customer service or helping me in anyway. They just stared at me and kept walking instead of helping. The guy in front of me was confused as well. Not happy at all with having to continue to come here for maintenance to keep my warranty. Definitely need to improve their maintenance department majorly.

POOR customer service. I dropped my truck off over a month ago. No one calls me to give me any updates. I have to take time off to stop by and ask the status of my vehicle. The service manager told me he could not give me a courtesy call. The truck could be there for many months and no one will give me a call. Everyone had been rude. I will make sure to reach the owner of this dealership to let him know the POOR cusservives his team provides.
The service department at Tejas Toyota has always taken care of my automotive needs in and an outstanding fashion. Although I moved away from the area, I still prefer to drive two hours back there to have my work done. I feel they are genuinely honest and trustworthy and I am happy to recommend them without any hesitation.

I went in 6/26 around noon a man greeted me. I didnt get his name but he was rude right of that bat. Im not sure whats included in my service to my car in this location but every other located they explain everything to me. From my cars alignment to my battery life this guy told me my keys were ready and thats it. I have warranty on my car since its a new Toyota.First time trying this place because I moved to the area but I think Ill stick to autonation in se Houston.Not sure what was confusing. I have warranty on my car from the dealer. But your customer service here is trash.
We just had a great experience at Tejas Toyota. We worked with Benjamin in sales and Jerry Zhao the finance manager. Both were very professional and personal. We were able to get a great deal on the exact model we wanted and never felt rushed or pressured. Highly recommend you seek these guys out for your next vehicle purchase.
Just trying to get an estimate on fixing my paint at the collision center. Around 6 or 7 people in the lobby. Apparently only one person can help doesnt even acknowledge me and walks off for a good 15 minutes, comes back still takes his sweet time talking with another worker there. So I just left terrible.
Tejas customer service were very professional in handling the receiving and delivering back of my truck. Servicing was done in a timely fashion and they were pretty much spot-on with how long it would take.

Dealership is extremely disorganized and staff untrained.1. Being told I would have to pay for my own rental car after insurance no longer covers. By multiple people when this is not Toyota’s policy if they are at fault for a backlog2. Cashier refused to help with rental car return. When I was told by other staff that they would help3. Inconsistencies of information given on warrantiesDefinitely not what I would expect from a Toyota dealership. I have used several Toyota dealerships for last 12 years .I will not come back to this one.
There was some confusion about my appointment time, which I was told was 5:30. Actually, Tejas last appointment is at 5p.... but somehow they worked a miracle and got me in and out by 6:45. The team made it happen for me, and Im grateful.
We brought car in a little after 9:00am and car wasn’t ready till after 2:00pm. Walked around asking where the paper work was because my car was already finished and was told it wasn’t ready. But I am watching my car just outside ready. Continued asking for help and was finally told the service guy had an emergency and had to leave. But no one took the initiative to walk over to his desk and get the paperwork. Will never take car there again. I could see if they were busy but it wasnt everyone was sitting at their desk.
I had an appointment to change my spark plugs. I was impressed with the level of courtesy service. Basically, there was no long lengthy wait time. The shuttle driver Ernesto will keep you entertained.If you need repairs or servicing done to your vehicle, Tejas Toyota is the place to go.

While I had an appointment for my 20k mile service I waited in the lobby. It did not take a long time for the service to be completed. My service agent was awesome with inform me with my vehicle info. It felt clean and safe as I frequently saw the cleaning crew disinfecting the areas after people would get up.

I have previously had very good experiences with Tejas Service department. Today was a hiccup. It took them over 2 hours for a routine oil change. They had a number of people out that day, but I was not told any of this up front. It would have been helpful to know it would take a long time. My wife could have picked me up. Again this is not the norm. I’m sure Tejas will do better in the future.

In fairness the actual maintenance event went very well. Everything around it is mess though. I originally called and discussed an appointment. They dont take appointments on Saturday so I was told to come in at 8 on Saturday. I got there at 10 to 8 and the line was backed up onto the frontage road. It stayed backed up onto the Frontage Road until 8:20 when decided to leave. Someone is going to get killed waiting for Tejas to get set up. Maybe Saturday appointments would be useful?I went ahead and made an appointment request online. 24 hours later I still had not gotten a confirmation so I had to call and confirm that I had an appointment and the time. Then when I dropped off my vehicle one service contact comes to the vehicle in front of me and waves me to go inside. When I go inside there is no obvious place to check in. After standing there for a few minutes someone asks my why my truck is blocking the line.I have done maintenance at literally dozens of dealers. This is by far the my worst experience. This team needs to benchmark Sterling McCall Toyota or Gillman Subaru to see how customers should be treated.

Be careful when going to Tejas for service. 3 different times they have suggested a need for service that was not needed. Most recently i was told my 2.5 year old 4Runner with 30,000 miles needed new brakes. Not understanding why I took it to an independent mechanic and shown the break pads and rotors. Rotors were in good condition and pads had 75% life remaining. No need for a break job

I took my car in for a recall on the airbags. The service was quick and the staff was courteous. Waiting room was clean, free wifi, plenty of comfortable chairs and tables. A couple of vending machines for snacks and drinks. I wish they had coffee, though.
I find that the wait time in the service line is a bit long, waiting 20 minutes today for someone to come out and get my car, and I had an appointment. I do really appreciate the friendly service at this dealership. They keep me informed and oil change time is fairly quick. I have been using this dealership on and off for several years and they have always provided quality products and services. Nice people too.

Our service representative, Kim, informed us of the problems and gave us the prices using Toyota parts vs after market parts. We have been buying vehicles and using Tejas Toyota service department since 2010. We will continue to give our business here!
Had an appointment for 9am for simple oil change and tire rotation, was told over the phone it would take 45 minutes for this. When I arrived morning of the appointment, they told me it would take an hour and a half..... ended up taking over 2 hours. When I asked why it was taking so long I was told because there were walk ins that arrived before me and that appointments mean absolutely nothing there.
Very nice helpful... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking any vehicles that’s a TOYOTA there. Ask for the guy CHRIS he’s gonna get the job done. Thank you Toyota

Best Toyota dealer I have ever been to. Very happy with sales and service. Friendly professional staff and they even offer a auto Glass repair and replace service while you get an oil change. Got my windshield repaired with no out if pocket expenses during the oil change. No additional time no extra cost. They handle everything with your insurance company a complete service experience.
I’m a first time customer and I was very unhappy with the service I received. I made it clear that I did NOT need my tires rotated but they did it anyway and tried to charge me for it. Also, I asked to get a quote for replacing a couple of tire sensors that were out (and that I already new were out) and I was charged $130 for a diagnosis to tell me something that I already knew and all I wanted was a quote to replace something that I knew was no longer working. The cashier told me that the only way I could get a quote is by them doing the diagnosis...REALLY?!? I’m never going back to this dealership again and unfortunately for them I will be in the market for a new vehicle here in the near future and guess where I definitely will NOT be buying it from?

It took the dealership over a month to order and get the replacement tire in. I had to work out of town after that for the next few weeks. So that’s why I gave it a 3 star. The manager Mr John who assisted r the last few calls, and when I came in was extremely friendly,
I really wish I could give this dealership a better review, I have given them many chances over the past 15 years. Unfortunately every time Ive gone in whether to have service done or to try and buy a car their service has been subpar. The service department is constantly(Ive witnessed this 1st hand) selling services people dont really need. IMHO this place and those I have interacted with lack integrity. I hope another Toyota dealership opens in NE Houston.

This place has had the worse customer service experience I have ever had nobody in the place but one lady at the rent center has tried to help me! The vehicle I bought got home and that night looked the taillights didn’t work figured that would be a safety check before I left. Then he tells me it’s fine to drive you won’t get a ticket. Just horrible experience!

I really appreciated being acknowledged as soon as I pulled up because they were very busy! 2 hour wait for oil change, very few masks, lots of coughing, & a cluttered waiting area. I tried to socially distance only to end up near a circle of maskless, coughing employees all in each others face. I heard the whole convo. 1 guys wife is out of town so he didnt bring lunch, & he was asking the others what they brought, etc...unfortunately, because I was moving around so much & trying to stay safe, the Rep says he was looking for me (never called my cell or called my name over intercom). In the future, Ill reconsider waiting for my vehicle.
Service experienceWhen arrive the sign says pull up. Other toyota dealerships service meet you at your car in the service dept. It was unclear if I was to get out or wait for someone to come to me. They saw me there, but no one came and I was the only car. I went inside after a few minutes. Greeting very dry. As I was waiting for oil change. I was thirsty. No complimentary drinks like other toyota service dept. Went to purchase one from machine, card reader not working. Asked cashier for change, she claimed she had no change. But when I went to pay for my service, I purposely paid in cash and she had change. Car was not complimentary washed like other Toyota dealerships. Just not very welcoming environment. I wont be going back to get my car serviced. Plus they tried to charge meway more for air filter and cabin filter.
