After my interaction with the Assistant Manager Taylor in the Galleria Mall, I would give this review 10 stars! The manager Steven and his team have always given me great customer service but Taylor was so nice, extremely helpful and accommodating like no other! Ive taken my tanzanite wedding ring to this location to be serviced multiple times and I thought about fixing my ring myself this last time but Taylor reassured me that with the HD pictures and copious amounts of notes, the master craftsman would have no questions as to why the ring needed to be serviced again. I cant express how relived I feel after talking with Taylor! Very glad she is apart of this Kay team! WAY TO GO! And thank you very much for making my experience with Kay so fantastic!

I was very pleased with my recent visit. The associate was helpful. They didn’t have the length of the chain that I liked so they had to order it for me. Come fast enough/ in time as it was a birthday gift. Also enjoyed 30% off for Mother’s Day. Thank you!

Went into the store looking to upgrade my ring. The associates acted like they didnt want to help. Two stayed seated and the older lady seemed like she had an attitude of your not going to buy anything any way. We spent our money elsewhere. Customer service goes a long way with me!

I dont think Ill ever go to another jewelry store again. This place is amazing! The girl that was working with me, Rhianna, she did everything she could to help me! One of the prongs on my engagement ring broke, and I wanted to see if Kays could fix it. The ring did not come from Kay. There was a lot of complications with the ring, so she did everything she could to help me either find a new band, or at least a ring I would like. She spent almost an hour searching online to help me. She is 100% amazing! After realizing there wasnt much she could do, she apologized so much, I just didnt wanna go anywhere else. I bought a kew ring within my budget that is absolutely gorgeous!! I still wanna fix my old ring, but this is a beautiful replacement and I might keep it as a wedding band. She really was awesome and wonderful and Im so happy with the care I got. Kay, you have a new life customer! Rhianna, you were absolutely amazing!

This place has really gone downhill with regards to staff competency and helpfulness. Remember after you make a purchase, you have to come back and see this staff every few months for inspections. Buyer beware.

When to this Kays Jewelers store to have my wife diamond ring inspected and clean for insurance purposes and to purchase a diamond bracelet that my wife wanting for mothers day. She did her research on it and found it there for $1900. We have a kays credit card to purchase it. The sales lady approached us and ask if we need help we said yes and told her bout the cleaning of the ring and she thought automatically no sales here and told to wait because they were busy. She wasnt busy. After the cleaning we ask to see the bracelet but my wife said well take our business somewhere else. Thank you sales lady....

I actually like Kays but my bracelets seem not to be put together too well. Ive had to send in the same silver/diamond bracelet twice because of the same part. Then they put this thin chain on it so the bracelet wouldnt fall off. I dont know if the people thought i was a woman but when i got it back, i couldnt put my hand through because of the thin chain. Just too much hassle for a $1000 dollar bracelet.

I was unhappy with a purchase I made in September last year because the chain to my pendent kept breaking so the pendent/chain stayed in the shop for repairs more than in my possession I was getting so frustrated and sad that I didnt even want it anymore but today when I went back to pick it up from repairs of 4 or more times the lady allowed me to exchange the whole thing even after it being more than 30 day she sympathize with me and I do appreciate her letting me get away from the evil chain that kept breaking...lol I forgot to get her name but her sales person ID is 013552452 Im so grateful to her that she took the time to make sure I was happy with my next purchase God Bless you lady.

The staff is friendly however I brought two of my watches in to replace batteries. The lady tells me they cant do it in store they have to send it out. Never heard this at any other location. Says she can do it in store but it will ruin the water proof seal. Ive had it changed in other locations before so I told her I was ok with it. Told me it would take 30 mins and gets my number and says they will let me know. 40 mins pass I dont hear anything so I go back and another lady went to go ask the first lady about it. The 2nd lady brings my watches out and tells me they couldnt do it bc they didnt have the proper tools. Very upset I waited 40 mins for something they probably already knew they couldnt do. How does a jewelry store not have the proper tools for that? They wanted m an additional $9 to send it out. Just wanted to make more money and not do a simple task. I wont be coming back to this location.

Just in there trying to make a quick buck. Got an engagement ring here and they did not update any information and told me that I have to pay by phone or online at my loan department. And said that they will update my info and I’d receive everything in the mail and email. But two months went by and now I’m 80 points down on my credit report. Do not do business here! Please!!

I purchased 3 products online before Christmas AND the cutoff date. 2 products came in on the 23rd....1 was unavailable for some reason! I called 3 times. 1 on 23rd...1 on 24th and on the 26th. First 2 times they looked but couldnt find it. It was received by Dorian! No email...no notifications! I was told to wait for an email! Still no email but the products were delivered...except the pendant necklace! I feel slighted and that MY order hasnt been given the attention it deserves!I WILL NOT USE DEERBROOK MALL LOCATION AGAIN!

I would’ve rated this location a 1 star but corporate stepped in and made it an almost 5. I had an issue with them taking a long time to fix my earrings then they wouldn’t answer the phone I tried calling for a week. I filled out a survey and spoke about how displeased I was and corporate office called me back and helped me so fast that my head spun. I’ve never experienced this kind of customer service fro a corporate office and I must say I was impressed. I almost gave them a 5 but the lady that I picked up my earrings from after corporate called me that they were ready for pick up was not very polite. I told her I was there for pick up and she asked me for a yellow slip and I gave her my drivers license as the gentlemen that sent off my earrings for the second time didn’t give me one. I explained that it’s been a long ordeal and she finally gave me the earrings but little did she know that I had already spoke to a lady at corporate that told me she would send a gift card for my inconvenience. So she took the gift card off the earrings and gave me the earrings and my license back and said here you go you are set. I said no I’m not I think you have my gift card. She looked shocked that I knew about it and said there isn’t one. I said yes there was I saw it in top of my earring bag. Then she said oh yes sorry here it is. I told her that I felt like she was trying to withhold it from me because of the way the gift card situation was handled. Anywho, I got my earrings and they are good. This location has definitely went down in customer service since I opened my account there when I was 18 yrs old.. I’m 33 now. Hopefully the manager of the store will start to take pride in her position and whip her employees into shape soon.

Ive been going to Kays in Humble for about 2 years. I take my rings for inspections every 6 months, but this time last time i went i had the best customer service ever thanks to Tangela ! She was very nice, helpful and she is very sweet! From now on every time i go i will ask for her! Nobody has helped me with such a positive attitude as Tangela!!!

I would love to thank the repair department for messing up my promise ring not only once but twice! Also, for the horrible service that my fiance and I received at the store while trying to get it repaired. The store manager was like well we will give you $ 25.00 gift card as an apology...um really that doesnt even cover the cost of the gas or the stress. This ring has tons of sentimental memories and thanks to your repair guys the ring is now ruined. I will NEVER do business with any Kay ever again. My ring is suppose to be a rhythm in motion and it broke sadly. I went to get it repaired and when it arrived it was soldered together so no movement at all. Sent it out AGAIN and yet AGAIN it does not move. The manager was like ummm it was moving before but now its not...really..like I cant tell its not moving considering Im the one who pointed it out. This was a ring from my fiance before we were engaged and I would love thank yall for ruining the ring. Corporate was trying to help yet cant do anything and the manager at the store doesnt want to do anything to help make it right, she acts as if its not an issue that this will be yet our third visit to see if the ring is finally correct... Great job with the poor customer service considering no one was to take ownership of the poor communication or the destruction of my ring! We were looking to get bridal gifts for my bridal party from Kay and we are glad we havent after this. Why should we spend 3K in merchandise when your guys cant even get a $300.00 ring that is exclusively yours right. We wont be purchasing anything more from Kay and now Im even worried about any jewelry that has to repaired considering your company messes up jewelry and makes it even worse If anyone would love to help make this right I am open to talking to anyone..yet no one wants to seem to help so Im not going to hold my breath.

However, I was disgusted over her taking the merchandise ( big diamond studs) out of her ears and putting (she wore them all day) them back into the display unclean!! Everything here is fairly good. Anyone negative here is biased against Kay Jewelers (Or Signet, in general) as a company, not store-specific. I suggest going in to try, and if it doesnt work out, theres plenty of other jewelry stores inside the mall (mostly owned by Signet, by the way)

My husband purchased me a charm bracelet from here a few years ago and the charms kept falling apart. I would take it in and the ladies would “put them back together” i finally got tired of them just falling apart and took them in to replace them. Since they don’t carry them anymore they had to send them off. This was in September. Now every time i call they tell me something different. One person told me they were in. I head toward the mall and call to see if they can have them ready because i was on a crunch for time and was informed they weren’t in and the lady even went as far as to say they were never ordered! I asked for my old charms back and was informed they had been sent to JRP. So i asked if they were sent off why weren’t new ones ordered? Was then told they would call me back. They called me back and said they called me back and said they were ordered and would take 4-6 weeks and she would follow up with me. I never received a call but waited patiently. I called today and was told my the manager that they are no longer doing replacements nor taking old charms to be replaced that i would need to come in for store credit. When i told her my charms were already taken by Thangela she said that can’t be true because they don’t take them until replacements come in????? I’m so frustrated because my braclet means a lot to me!! And i told my husband not to purchase it there after we got my wedding ring back from sizing with missing diamonds and got the run around about that too. Very disappointed 😔Update. Still struggling to get this issue resolved two years later!

Nothing but problems out of this store. They’re dishonest and will say anything to make a sale. Watch out, they will try to sell you a cluster of four diamonds as if it were one large diamond, then claim they didn’t know. We also had rings sent out to be resized and one came back as a 9.25 when it was supposed to be a 9.5. I don’t even know how a professional would make that mistake, but now it has to be sent out again. They had zero customer service when dealing with this issue.Totally unacceptable.

My fiance purchased me an engagement ring in 2012. Since day one I have been having issues with the ring. It was incorrectly sized, diamonds falling out, customer service people did NOT have the knowledge of their merchandise. BUT I gave Kays the benefit of the doubt, so for a year I dealt with these issues and repairs. In 2018 my ring beaks in half and I am told my only options are to put more money in and have it fixed or upgrade. So after trying to walk away from Kays at that point, and realizing I would be the only one loosing out. I decided to upgrade. My first ring set my fiance paid 7k. I now upgrade my band and pay 1k. So I have now given Kays 8k dollars. Needless to say I get my new ring and I was under the impression they were making it from scratch. No they sent out the 7 they had in store and sized it down to a 6. CAN you can guess what happened next...the diamonds start falling out. I have sent my ring out twice every two weeks because the diamonds fall out. It has been in the repair shop MORE than I have warn it. So the manager decided FINALLY they are going to order me a 6 and place my stone on that band. So that is where we are now but never once did anyone admit they made a mistake, or admit the quality of there merchandise was lacking. This last time is when the manager gives me $50 gift card and says sorry. How about a free upgrade because I have been through HELL and back with this company!!! Something more than 50.00 to my 8,000. I contact corporate and comenity bank because I dont feel I should have to make payments on something I dont have. AGAIN no suprise I am given the run around and NO ONE can help me. Customer service survey do I feel my needs were met? NO.. Do I feel I was treated like Kays genuinely cares? NO . Do I feel someone could have went above and beyond way before I have been in Kays 10 times for repairs? YES. I have a credit card limit that will be closed because KAYS does not know how to treat and appreciate their customers. Not once did any manager take fault for the quality of your merchandise, there is NO reason why diamonds should fall out every two weeks, or gold rings in 5 years should break in half. If that is the case what do I have to look forward to in 5 more years with this new ring. I would love for someone to contact me who has authority to make decisions and actions. Thank you a VERY unhappy customer.

Terrible. The associates will say anything to make the sale. They do not follow through. If you have a special order A) it will come back wrong and they will tell you that YOU misunderstood or B) they will assure you that it has been placed and never order it. I will NEVER spend another dime with Kay Jewelers. Very poor customer service and they will refuse to give you a number to anyone higher up.
