Used Dynamic Auto for the first time last year after purchasing my 2014 Porsche Cayman for an oil change and inspection. Paid $150 vs the $400 the dealer wanted. Had the opportunity to check out the garage and talk to the mechanic about the condition of my car (I had purchased it just a few months earlier). He was very professional and assured me he had inspected the entire car for anything that might be needed. They did not try to “sell” me additional services that I knew the car did not need.I went back to them again this year before storing the car for winter and had them do the oil change, air filters change, and also had them change the drive belt which needs to be done every 6 years. I saved a lot of money vs the dealership and am very happy with the work. I highly recommend this shop. I will definitely use them for all my repairs in the future!

They were able to refer my tire issue out, but took care of most of the details. Oil change and additional work was completed timely at a much more reasonable cost than the dealer. I took my 1979 Porsche 911 for repairs, including replacing the alternator, along with routine maintenance. The discussion on what must be done vs what could be done really left me with the feeling that this shop is very open and honest in their feedback. The work they did was very good with no issues whatsoever. I would say that they earned the feeling that I respect and trust them. I light of the fact that Porsche, and a rather old Porsche at that, is not their main focus point, I am very satisfied. I am definitely coming back.

I’ve taken my BMW 325i over here for years and have never been disappointed! Chad and his team are very straightforward regarding what work needs to be done immediately, what can wait, how much each installation will cost, and they will make sure to keep you in the loop before proceeding with anything. There have been a few times where disaster has struck while I was driving (example: fault in water pump, coolant lines, and radiator all at once), which can happen as natural wear on BMWs as the mileage starts to get up there, however I was able to have the car towed over to the shop on a weekend and left a voicemail stating the situation; Chad personally called me before the end of the weekend on non-business hours in order to find out what was going on. Overall, the whole process was painless other than the fact that the fault itself occurred. I cannot stress enough how high-quality their work and customer service is; if you care about your car even a little bit, then take it to Dynamic!

To begin with, the services that were provided by Dynamic Auto was more encompassing than services that would have been provided at my usual VW dealership. At the dealership, it was recommended that I have the transmission replaced on my Jetta. Not only did Dynamic Auto replace my transmission, but additionally included the fly wheel, as well as an alignment and changing the drive belt and tensioner. Other things that they found with my vehicle with further inspection, they replaced at no cost to me. Eric kept me advised to what was happening and was very honest about all services. I trusted he was being honest with all recommendations. He went above and beyond in sending videos and saving parts to show me. I will definitely utilize their services from this point forward - totally worth the drive- and recommend them to anyone that owns a European vehicle. By far the best local shop to bring your European car to, I used to always bring my BMW to the stealership in Crystal Lake, NEVER AGAIN! The guys at Dynamic are just as knowledgeable (if not MORE knowledgeable) and will actually take the time to explain to the customer the issues that the car is having. These guys are always on top of preventative maintenance and will help save you money where they can. If you have a European car with many issues like mine, these guys will break down to you every issue your car is having and help you prioritize what repairs to take care of immediately, and which repairs you can put on the back burner for a minute. We all know owning a European car is an expensive hobby, so make sure if you’re not doing the work yourself take the car somewhere they treat your car as their own.

Chad and his team are professional and do great work. I trust them with anything I need on my bmw. If you have a German car this is the place to go. They do better work then the main dealers, they don’t do what the stealerships do and try to force you extra work your car doesn’t actually need, and Chad’s prices are a lot cheaper. I used to live in Huntley but I moved to Wisconsin. I still make the 2 hour drive to go to Chad then take the car anywhere else!

Great service and my q5 is good for another 30k miles

I was looking for a reliable/trustworthy auto shop and Google didnt let me down. I brought my car in for squealing brakes and expected to pay a large sum to get them replaced. They told me that I still had 40% of the life left on my brakes. They could have easily decided to take advantage of me. They are extremely transparent and I will be back when they are done. Thanks!

Great service, friendly staff, excellent work. I brought our Audi Q7 in after the dealership quoted a ridiculous sum for replacing the brake pads and rotors. Not only was Dynamic Auto cheaper by quite a bit, but they also repaired the A/C which the dealership was unable to do. Honest work, and as a small business owner myself, Im always happy to support local businesses. Ill definitely be back.

I recently brought my E550 in for service here after being referred by a friend. Let me start by saying that the staff is extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with. My car was in and out when they said it would be and the price was very reasonable...MUCH cheaper than any dealership! There are too many little things the average mechanic just doesnt know about Volkswagen that can cause catastrophic damage. I wished for a shop like this, and then realized they have been here all along. Walking distance from the Huntley square, and even a nice office setup inside that allowed me to get some work done while I waited. very impressed!
