Clean and organized. Not crowded. Nice selection of childrens books. Books are not cheap. They did have a kids book on sale for $5. Just got to look around a bit. They also had some games for sale such as puzzles and classics like the rubiks cube. I usually bu books online, but it is nice to preview the entire book before purchase.

I Absolutley love this Barnes and Noble. It is very clean, well organized and the staff is as friendly as can be. There are always great sales going on throughout the store. Often you will come across a signed copy of a book in the midst of the same, unsigned copies. These signed copies come at no extra charge!

This is probably one of my favorite places to go!Not only does Barnes & Noble have lots and lots of books. They have everything from magazines to Starbucks coffee. They have a back room area where they have CDs and DVDs. Whatever it is your looking to read or just want some tunes to jam too, Id go here!

Went in with my wife and dad. Despite my wife being wary of large areas with any real groups Of people the atmosphere of the store had her very at ease. And they had stuff of interest for all three of us. And despite me obviously not being their target audience (a scraggly obvious mechanic lol) the entire staff was friendly, helpful and joked with me. We will return

My granddaughter was able to find all the books she wanted. I was able to pick up a couple that I wanted. The lady that waited on us was extremely nice.

Everyone was very helpful and nice too.... feels good to go to a establishment where no ones rude. Very peaceful and quiet! Good prices on books. Not to pricey.

Im on their email list, and received an email about red line items 90% off. After looking all over the store, come to find out it was just a few items on a couple tables. To me it wasnt worth the email 😕. Love this place, but feel that was a wasted trip, as i thought Id find Valentines stuff while there, and that was a bust.

I was pleasantly surprised to still see people reading on floor and in corners. COVID 19 doesnt stop diehard readers. I was looking for kid level instruction for chess, bridge or sign language.I was unsuccessful. However, I see a cute potty training book and simple sign language book for babies.Starbucks was open. I did not get asked if assistance was needed for the entire hour.

Great products! Not just books but music, board games and more. I always spend 2 hours browsing and there is still more to see.

The employees were very helpful in aiding me finding a particular book by the title not the author. It was very helpful to know other author who wrote books in the same genre.

I placed an online order, on 12/13, received confirmation of order and shipping. Received a shipping update, on 12/18, notifying me that the package would be delayed. On 12/18, they sent another email saying the order had been canceled. Of course, I didn’t see that email until 12/21! I called customer service and they had no explanation. Very disappointing!

They got so many books and magazines and kids stuff you could spend all day there. Also they have a coffee bar where you can buy different coffee drinks and sweet stuff to munch on.

Have always loved the ambience of barnes and noble...but during the coronavirus crises, its been a a lifesaver for helping my granddaughter with her homework. All the comforts of home...and the company of wonderful books and staff. Has always been my favorite bookstore but now so much more.

We were looking for a doll for our granddaughter. We saw it last Friday at the store by Zona Rosa, and it was 25 percent off. Full price in Independence. We bought it. It was fine. I now have 4 coupons for a buy one/ get one free cookie. I am not paying $3.00 for a cookie, to get another free. Give me the cookie or just give me another 5 percent off for being a member. I am a retired school librarian and have shopped for books at Barnes and Noble for many years. Nice selection.

Such a great place to relax. Surprisingly there is more than just great books here. The cafe serves high quality delights and there Is a wide selection of games, collectables, stationary and more. Ive always enjoyed coming here to relax and read while enjoying a toasty and flaky croissant. If you love books and pastries then I recommend a visit.

I love a good book store! This is probably the best one that is close to me. They have a good selection and the bargain section can have some great funds every now and then. I tend to avoid their new Hardcover books because their price is typically higher than other retailers unless youre a member of there rewards/discount program.

Impressed with steps to encourage social distancing. Really good selection of vinyl if youre looking for records.

Cool and quiet. Not overly busy for a weekend. They did remove the train table as off last Saturday. My little was a bit disappointed. He quickly got over it. Husband and I split apart with our kids. He busted me walking out of the bistro with a coffee. Thanks for the good time B&N.

I always love going to this store. Its quiet, calm, and the store associates are very helpful and offer their help as needed but arent over-bearing about it... so that makes for a comfortable and enjoyable shopping trip, instead of an awkward and uncomfortable one.

This bookstore has a wide variety of books. The clerks are very helpful. I couldnt remember the author name for a set of books. They helped me to remember. The price was quite reasonable.

Great place. They are a little pricey on some areas, but the selection is huge, and the B&N special editions of classics are a must have on your shelf.

My youngest daughter and I love this place. It centered by the mall and movie theater as well as plenty of restaurants. They have a Starbucks and they even have a kids area where they put on plays and read to children. Absolutely adorable. The perfect ambience for a good book and quiet solitude.

Theyve added a lot of toys and board games since I was last there a long time ago. Kids love it! We also love their 75 percent off area. So much to choose from! Got some great stuff on the cheap!!!! The cafe area does need updating though.

I went into the store to buy Alexander Hamiltons biography, I found the book I was looking for and when to the front to buy it. When I gave the cashier the book she said Why does everyone like Alexander Hamilton? He isnt that great, I like Thomas Jefferson better than him. And she proceeded to talk about her political opinions on him that I did not need to know.

Always love this store if they dont have your book they will order it.

I could spent hours and big money in their store buying all the books I want to read. I bought James Patterson latest book The 18th Abduction. He is just one of my favorite authors. The staff is always going around making sure I am finding everything I need. I like giving their gift cards and having a membership helps save you money.

Its a typical Barnes & Noble, but jeez, the checkout! NO, I do not want to purchase a discount card (and stop trying to convince me to do so!). NO, I dont want to give you my email address. NO, I do not want to fill out an on-line survey. NO, I do not want to get a free cookie with a qualifying purchase. Please, just let me complete my purchase without all of the extra sales pushes!

My four year old and I love coming here. They have a wide variety of books and helpful employees that can recommend any book or kinds of books we throw at then (including tornado and books with vacuums). There is also a certain nostalgic book smell that hits you when you enter.

I still love this place after 20+ years. I love the shopping experience...and no pressure from sales people.

This is a fairly decent Barnes and Noble. You can get lost for hours in here if you’re a book lover, like me. They have a very large selection, the Starbucks inside is a bonus, and the staff has always been very nice and will gladly carry on a conversation with you about your selections while you checkout.

Next to the library definitely a readers Paradise. Staff was very helpful and very friendly. My magazine that I was looking to find was in the area I needed to find it at. The store was attractive and clean and definitely look forward to visiting again soon.

I do love books and with such few bookstores out there you can always count on Barnes and Noble to provide what youre looking for, however they really do need to lower their prices. They charge double than other places and always bug you with their $25 yearly membership. I tried it once, its not worth it considering their prices are jacked up to begin with. The cafe is nice, its a fun place to meet with a friend, get a snack and a drink and browse the selection.

I dont always buy from Barnes & Noble as the prices are always iffy (especially on non-book items.. seriously...) But I enjoy the calm browsing of books. And enjoy having B&N around.

I love this Barnes & Noble. So many books, so little time! I do feel like they are a tad overpriced. I can buy almost every book at a pretty decent discount off of Amazon. I want to keep them around so I do buy several books there. We do like the magazines and buy them as well. Ive been a member of their Club for years. Im not sure its worth the small discount that you get. And I really wish they would put more chairs in, it was a lot cooler when you could actually sit and relax. The little cafe is decent also, but it is a little pricey too!
