Great Mexican cafe for quick stop icecream, fried tacos, churros, sandwiches, and tacos. Long wait for fried food on my first visit but second visit was good. Tasty and authentic.

This is such a great place to stop for a quick snack or any meal (they offer breakfast and hot food, too). They have SO much to choose from on their menu- deciding what to order is the hardest part. The employees are super kind, answer all of our questions and let our Littles sample their hearts out until they found a flavor they loved. I cant wait to go back and try something else new!

Its was nice to find out one was finally closer to town. Service was good. Tables not that well cleaned. The quantity of ice cream on our funnel cakes was a disappointment. The one further out of town gives you more for your money. The scoopes were sad.

So glad to have this place in the area! There used to be one off 40hwy and it closed years ago. Stopped in for two scoops and cone: pine nut and vanilla ice cream! Very tasty and fresh!

Walking in, you are greeted with an amazing atmosphere. The restaurant has a very clean and fresh decor. The problem youll be smacked with is that the menu is MASSIVE and you may not understand a word of it. I have been to the ethnic festival many times (locals will know what that is) but still found the food very unique.I ordered a paleta tamarind and a campechana torta. The tamarind paleta is hard to describe. I would say the closest thing to it is it kinda tastes like sarsparilla, a kind of root beer. Its a tasty, unique ice pop. The campechana is also unique, the closest thing to it would be a pulled pork sandwich. It was a little too salty for me but still good.

Long line, moved pretty quickly though. Ordered a smoothie, plain churros and iced coffee. Cashier originally could not find iced coffee item on his machine but then found the button to ring me up and assured me they had it. Got my churros which were half raw, smoothie which was great, and they didnt have the iced coffee that they told me they had. So so.

Great to have purchased a taste of goodness and nutrients. Inquired May 10th, 2021 about flavored water. I will be returning as your patron, without Tequila ha ha. Mark

Service was HORRIBLE! No one greets you when you come and the 2 times I have gone there the employees look lost and dont know whats on the menu. I understand this location is new but staff really need some training. The taste in food was disappointing. The other locations are better.

This is an all time favorite place of mine. So happy to see it closer to home. Been to the Kansas City location many times. But now that its closer to my house Im able to visit more often. Customer service is excellent and the food is amazing just like its companion. Ill be visiting more in the near future. Please, if youve not tried this place for yourself, youll be in for a really good treat.

This place just opened and weve already been five times! The food is incredible and inexpensive. The desserts are never-ending, and everything weve tried has been wonderful. The staff is so nice, and the place is very clean. We are HUGE fans and hope to eat here for years to come.

My first time eating here. I am from Arizona and we have what is called a Sonoran style hotdog which I love, and definitely miss. I saw that they have a Mexican style hotdog which is slightly different from what I was getting back in Arizona, and they modified my order to a Sonoran style hotdog no problem. It comes with french fries, I will say that my order was prepared quickly and that my food was very good. I also got an order of ice cream and it was very good also. The restaurant was clean and the personnel were polite and helpful. I will be going back in the future to try other offerings on their menu, which covers a good cross section of Mexican style food, desserts, and drinks.

Food and service was wonderful. Best ice cream we had. And they have dairy free options for people like me who are lactose intolerant. I had a chance to try the Mexican hot dog, beef hot dog with bacon, ham and pineapple. Was surprisingly good.

If I could give it 0 starts I would. First I got there and it was empty just my self and three employees. Didn’t get greeted at all. When I asked who I could place my order with I was told to go to the register, I go to the register and she tells me I need to first place my order with one of the ladies on the side before she charges me. I placed my order and all 3 different ladies made my order, meaning my order was made 3 different times and not any of these times did they give me my order they just kept placing it behind the counter and walking away. They all acted like they had no idea how to do their job, no communication within each other. They really need some serious training and costumer service skills.

This is funny. I asked for extra chili powder...but I get the smallest portion ever for a 32oz cup of elote...thanks.

I absolutely love the food and the employees. Everything about this place and the people are amazing.

Still have yet to get a refund. The owner commented on my last review but it was clearly done to make it LOOK like they were trying to do the right thing. Pathetic. I wouldnt waste my money or time here. Service is slow and they double charge you and refuse to refund your money.

Went there a couple times. Service was slow as expected for a place that’s considered “new”. The last time I went I paid for my items. Completed the transaction on the pin pad and the cashier walked away. I thought that meant everything was good, pin pad said it went through, so I took a seat to wait for my order. Less than 5 mins later the cashier tells me the transaction didn’t go through. I thought it was weird but went up and re-swiped my card (my mistake but being called out in a crowded place that my card was “declined” I didn’t even think about it), It went through and I got a receipt the second time. I go sit down and log into my banking app to see what the issue was the first time. Come to find out, I had been charged twice. When confronted, the cashier called someone and asked for a transaction screenshot. She said she wasn’t supposed to show me but she would. Sat around for another 10 mins before she showed me a spread sheet of tiny numbers of which made zero sense to me. She stated this isn’t the first time this had happened that the other customers that had this problem got their money back within a day or 2. This was a week ago and I have yet to be refunded the second transaction they took from me. If you’re going to go, I’d suggest paying in cash or not going at all. Their ice cream was good but not $40 good.

I just waited 30 minutes for my food.A Torta, flautas, tacos and a drink. Its 8pm and so slow. Maybe had 3 customers in there. Very disappointed I was excited to have this place so close to home.😬

All I have to say the 3 times I have went there, theirs always new people that don’t know what they are doing and are so super stingy with their ice cream and things they put on your food compared to the other Tropicana’s it’s closer to me but I’m definitely never going back rather take the longer trip and go to the one in downtown or Kansas

I experienced terrible service at this location. Nothing like the service of the Olathe location. I asked a question about the menu and never got a response from any of the staff. I also ordered two simple menu items and it took them over 25 minutes to give me my order. While waiting on my order i watched countless other customers come in order, get their food, and leave. VERY disappointed!!
