I was able to work with Mary to furnish the living spaces and dining space in my home. We worked off of plans and visualized the spaces though her use of software/ furniture placement. Abundant samples and endless fabric options allowed us to layout our choices and edit them easily. Mary listened to my ideas and guided my selections, patiently and with much enthusiasm. I made many decisions easily and loved the assurance from other designers in the store as well. I am thrilled with every single piece we chose, and get compliments from every guest!

Our experience started with a call to make an appointment for a home consultation. Mary Larson was able to come that same week. She measured and made some suggestions for our family room and living room and stressed that there was no pressure to purchase. She drew up room plans which included our old furniture. Mary is friendly, down to earth, honest and so knowledgeable! She really helped me stretch my budget.

We went to Ethan Allen to buy new furniture for our living room. We found exactly what we were looking for. We furnished our entire room and the furniture is beautiful and of top quality. Our sales person / design consultant, Mary Larson, was wonderful! She worked with us to be sure our room was 100% how we wanted it before we were done. She is a talented designer who was able to understand my style and design a room that was exactly what I wanted it to be! And she was a pleasure to work with.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experience. I’ve never experienced such rude employees. And the leather quality of the chairs I ordered is terrible. I highly recommend restoration hardware or similar. Stay away from Ethan Allen.

We moved from out-of-state and needed a considerable amount of furniture, along with using our existing items to coordinate, in a newly built home. With Ethan Allens excellent design help we quickly made decisions from room-to-room and are so pleased with the final result. The delivery people were also excellent and careful. AND, the quality of the workmanship remains from the Ethan Allen we purchased from over 40 years ago.

We worked with Michelle Herndon at Ethan Allen Indianapolis. She was awesome!We wanted to change our living room furniture to make the room more practical for both guest seating and for television viewing. We recognized we did not have the designer skills and needed a professional’s guidance and vision. Enter Michelle. She provided alternatives, suggestions, and recommendations to renew our living room! Michelle used a computer program to illustrate how our selected furniture would look and fit in our space. It looks fabulous and Michelle achieved our goals. We can’t say enough and would highly recommend her!

The designers are very helpful and very knowledgeable. The quality of the furniture is impeccable and will last a very long time. My bedroom furniture is 10+ years old and still looks like new. The store is beautiful too.

Our master bathroom, hall bathroom, kitchen, powder room and laundry room just underwent a complete renovation, which in turn required a complete redecorating of these areas, to include the master bedroom. Our designer, Michelle Herndon, has been an exceptional and outstanding help to my husband and I in creating a new and beautiful look for these rooms. After discussing the “look” we were hoping to achieve, Michelle expertly and quickly presented suggestions for our review. All aspects were covered, even to the choice of painters. She turned an overwhelming process into an amazing experience. Best of all, Michelle was able to incorporate the Ethan Allen sales events into our selections and was able to keep everything within our budget. As we continue to update our 35 year old home, we truly look forward to having Michelle Herndon’s guidance. We highly recommend Michelle’s expertise for interior design.

If I could give this store a 0, I would, but you have to give it a rating or the review wont go through. My mother is 90 years old and was sold a bill of goods at this store. She, unfortunately, ordered some custom made rugs at the advice of her decorator, Emma. She didnt think the rugs would work but took Emmas word for it and ordered them. She waited over 3 months to get them and when they FINALLY came, they were dirty and did NOT go well at all with her furniture and furnishings. When her caretaker took her back to the store to talk to them personally, she was told over and over, you signed the contract. The rugs cost her almost $4,000.00 and they did not offer to make one single compensation with the exception of cleaning these BRAND NEW $4,000.00 rugs!!! My mother had also spent a LOT of money there buying things for her new condo. She also had cushions made that didnt fit right on her chairs and cost over $800. I would NEVER recommend this store to ANYONE if you are wanting quality items and/or to receive compensation for damaged items or items that just dont turn out right. They wouldnt even allow my mother to take home the store sample and did not advise her on ordering and paying for a larger sample of the rugs she ordered. At 90 years of age, I think most people would agree they took advantage of her BIG TIME. This actually IS a crime in Indiana to take advantage of the elderly and we are still in the process of fighting this. Buyer BEWARE!!
