Purchased membership 12 years ago. Never was able to use one time. Big time scam!!! Save your money people! Before we sign for membership it was like they had anything and everything. Then after deal was signed over the next five years. They couldnt get anything any cheaper than what I could get right here in my hometown after paying a $5,000 membership fee. Perfect example I was needing to buy hardwood for my whole main floor house. That I was able to get $0.75 a square foot cheaper right at my local store. Moral of story I could have used that $5,000 for many other things then just giving it away to them for a membership I did not use once. Whole place is a scam save your money people!!!

My wife and I had just bought our new home and the first purchase was to be a washer and dryer. Since this was something my wife wanted right away, we went to a national store to purchase and have delivered as soon as possible. After 2 weeks of faulty machines being delivered to the home and terrible customer service we returned the washer and dryer and went to DirectBuy. This was our first time going through DirectBuy and after the nightmare experience with the National store, we werent sure what to expect. Tom was amazing! He listened to our horror story we had just experienced and was very patient with us as we carefully selected a washer and dryer. In our research, we found a local store offering the washer and dryer we wanted to purchase through DirectBuy at a lower price. We called Tom right away and he walked us through the process of submitting the claim. Not only did DirectBuy meet the sale price we found, they beat it! We were thrilled beyond belief! We started our membership during the construction of our new home 5 years ago & have saved enough to cover the cost of our membership, plus thousands more. Weve made lots of purchases ranging from custom cabinetry to toys and have been very pleased with the quality & cost of everything. Holly has been a huge help to us & is always quick with her responses. Much better customer service than you could find at any home improvement store.

We have been members since 2013 when we joined primarily to take advantage of the opportunity for savings on purchases toward new home construction out of state. The staff at DB Indy is very helpful, courteous, and professional. We made significant purchases including light fixtures, faucets, door hardware, tile, whole house backup generator, tankless water heater and more. Although there have been a few issues that have come up, they have been dealt with promptly and fairly. DB Indy are good folks to do business with.

Direct Buy has been a true asset when it came to a couple home projects: renovating a kitchen and completing our new nursery. Their catalog pricing and member specials are fantastic but their cabinet specialist was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.We look forward to being members a for long time.

I love DirectBuy at Indianapolis. The experience has been wonderful for our family. DirectBuys website is constantly improving and the savings are absolutely wonderful.The ability to ship directly to our home from the website is so convenient (on most products).We HATE paying retail and DirectBuy is the way out of that price gouging madness. Genta and the crew at Indy Home Design made our recent remodel almost easy. We planned the kitchen, then ordered the cabinets, sink, hardware, flooring, blinds and even some furniture for the living room. We could have ordered our appliances if we didn’t already have what we needed.

Last winter we had Direct Buy (Holly Denihan) help us with the remodel of our kitchen. Her skill and professionalism were unmatched in helping us design the space and pick out cabinetry and counter tops that work perfectly. Whenever we had an issue, she was right there to solve it. We saved enough money going through Direct Buy to more than pay for our membership. Our overall cost was about half of what some of our friends told us they were quoted for similar size job. Kitchens are among the toughest remodels (amount of mess and disruption), and it was great to have a partner like Direct Buy.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about all their products, as well as very willing to help you find exactly what you want. This is a great place to shop!

When our Direct Buy member center in Cincinnati closed, I wasnt sure how ordering from Indianapolis would work out. But Im pleased to say Ive been more than happy! Tom is wonderful!! He is very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Every time Ive spoken with Tom he has gone above and beyond to meet our needs. We ordered over 2400 square feet of flooring and getting it to Cincinnati could have been very tricky and expensive. Tom made special arrangements for it to be delivered to a Cincinnati hub, saving us a huge headache and tons of money! I can only say great things about our experience!!

Harassing - I was a vendor at a Festival and the Rep came over to give me some info and took my card and said he was interested in my Landscaping services. 2 days later I get Phone calls and emails that I did not ask for or want. My wife and I considered using them but now will not be using them for anything.

The staff is super helpful and friendly! I would definitley recommend them! It was a great decision to join, we have gotten tons of discounts on stuff we wouldn t normally be able to afford.

Great group of people, Ive been a member there for a couple years and have enjoyed great service from Holly for cabinets, Tom for going to bat for me with a lighting vendor, and both Jack and Genta for all other concerns. If you arent a member yet you should be, fantastic savings and service!!!!

DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!I joined and regretted it. Have looked at direct buy each time ive made a purchase since joining and havent bought the first thing there. Selection is limited, very limited in some cases, and prices are barely, if at all lower than can be found at other sites on the internet. Even if the initial price seems lower, the difference is eaten up byfees the local affiliate imposes on every purchase so it would be a very rare casewhen the extremely high membership fee would be recouped and a gain realized.Then they add insult to injury and make you wait much longer to get yourproduct than other sites. I base this last statement on their own published shippingtimes, as i havent used them once since joining, and have made several purchases in that time period period.I fell victim to their slick sales presentation and since they tell you its join that evening or never be invited back didnt get that important time to think about it as weall should with major purchases such as this. Its very much a no brainer that I should have not walked but RAN when the presentation was over, but I did not so am nowliving with he fact that I turned over a large amount of money that I could have lit on fire and received the same benefit from .I did try to cancel after i had initially joined the evening of the presentation but was unable to, so please dont make the same mistake I did. ITS ONLY A GOOD DEAL FOR THEM AND NOT WORTH IT FOR YOU!
