Albertsons has always been my favorite supermarket. They closed the location near my house so I’m glad I can still go to the one close to work. They have really good prices and their pastries are so good. Better and cheaper than Vons or Ralph’s

Love this Albertsons. Its our go to store. I have been going to this particular store for many years and have known majority of associates working there for a while. Yesterday (Christmas day) I realized we didnt have lemons for our lobster. Jumped in the car close to 4pm to see pretty much everything closed. Ralphs was closed, Sprouts was closed and as I pulled up to Albertsons alot of the workers were outside getting ready to leave for the holiday. I needed 2 lemons....I asked a gentleman desperately. He told me to circle back around....and when I pulled up he handed us 2 lemons and said Merry Christmas. He went above and beyond for us. Truly appreciated. I wish I caught his name but unfortunately I didnt.

Well, the store is more expensive compared to other grocery stores in Irvine such Ralphs and Wholefood. I feel like this store is outdated to catch an eye from young customers. But one good thing about here is that they have a good selection of baking stuff.

Irvine Co. Raised the rents so high, they have to close. I hear theyre changing it to a Asian market.Albertsons, Miss you already...❣

As most Albertsons this one was clean and bright but staffing was pretty low. The line area was unorganized and confusing, because of Covid, there was no clear direction or staff helping in where the line started or how to line up. Aside from that it was a decent experience

Very rude manager randomly kicks you out. Good for tp forts though. I gave a 3 star because you can do pretty nice tp forts and they have good rafafa.

This location took out self serve checkout a while ago, and since then the lines have been longer than literally any other store I go to. I intentionally avoid this store because it takes so much longer, even factoring in the extra time it takes to go anywhere else.

Closing this location. Nearly empty inside - but lots of discounts on the few things that are still left.

Sad that this store is closing.... last day is the 18th of this Month....

Sold me bad kiwi fruits, the Mighty ones in the plastic container, 6 or so for 5 dollars.I get home and find 3 or so have obvious mold. I have to go back to store.Long story short it turns out all the kiwi boxes I looked at (5 boxes) in the store have kiwis with mold. I bought them before other stores no problem. This store I couldnt even find any to buy!I would have liked store credit (as in a card for example) for having to drive over here and address problem, but I asked for credit and the woman said no at customer service.I also looked at the Cuties brand mandarins/clementine and many of those were in sub par condition, unlike other stores. Another store I like always had much higher standard of cuties, so I wont be buying produce from Albertsons if I can avoid it.I only like that Albertsons has a specific type of cinnamon rolls and certain non-produce snack products I cant find other places.Also they dont have self checkout so that is annoying, and cashier did not greet me. A machine at least has the excuse of not having a mouth. I dont want to have to deal with random moods, I much prefer self-checkout.

Overall after 25 years its dependable and fresh

The employees are hardworking and helpful and courteous. The parking lot has plenty of slanted one way rows. My tiny complaint is they are often out of International Delight French Vanilla cream. Why do they have other flavors and sugar-free, but not the regular?

Slowest check out in history. Most just dont seem to care. Lines can be 5 people deep and 1 register open. Poor management. Dairy stock is always out. Whos the buyer? Buy more of empty products, its not that hard. Cottage cheese is an example, always empty on the pints. Have to buy 8oz or quarts. Those are fully stocked. Simple math people.

7/24/19. Checkout person was courteous, but he was in such a hurry & I was not able to enter my phone number for discount. He just asked me to pay & go. Line was long & I didnt feel like paying for groceries, but my wife asked me to pay & never come back here to shop. I didnt know Irvine was such a getto place where shop employees push around customer. Im gonna drive further up & shop from Ralphs. RALPHS got self check out & Ive never had this problems.

Nice supermarket. I mostly buy the baked chicken from deli. Its awesome and on offer for 5-6 dollars ever other week. The place is never crowded. The staff on billing counter is always courteous.

Good selection, but in order to get the discounts you see at other stores you have to buy in quantities. Single people and couples dont need 5 big boxes of cookies, so we end up getting ripped off even on sale items (only slightly discounted for single purchases). Also, no self checkout. I only go for the convenience and because I have a gift card. Otherwise there are many better options in the area.

Always clean, lines are not long, associates are friendly and helpful. Check out their ad, weekly specials have amazing prices. I use their app too, very handy, plus you can earn freebies such as bread, juice and cheese...

This store is a great place to shop, if you are looking for produce/meat/dairy items that are on the brink of expiration, and have time to wait in the check out line for several minutes because they only keep one check stand open pretty much at all times. The staff is friendly, but other than that, this store needs some major Improvement.

Fast, always helpful people, employees actually know where everything is. They practice 3s a crowd. Great prices, fresh food!! I love this store!!

I always get good friendly service here and that Im overly picky or needing service while grocery shopping but it seems like I always get asked by the staff if I need any help or if Im finding everything ok. I love that it shows they care. The store is clean and well kept. Good prices also.

This specific Albertsons is actually quite good. Checkers that care, clean store throughout and good produce.

Should have had additional check out clerk, as the line waits were too long. Otherwise I love this store.

Clean, stocked and ready to buy. Wish the meat dept was better. Not much of a selection of cuts, but it is Irvine... seafood is king.

UCI remains the only store that has 12 fast check out the wait is too long here at Alton

Albertsons has the best selection of cut vegetables of any other local supermarket and they have extensive bagged salad options. Also, you can pay with Apple Watch or Apple Pay at checkout so I dont need my wallet when I shop here.

Could not find what I was looking for. On top of that a homeless person had come in for the third time as they said, and the whole market stunk! Not a good experience.

I had to wait for 15 minutes for the butcher. He never showed up even after being paged more than twice. Finally, I saw someone walk in the produce department and I asked him to help me. On one of the item I ordered he charged me $16. And some change. The meat was on sale for $2.77 a #. I noticed the error, he checked and changed it. I had less than 2 1/2 #.

This store is huge. I have a hard time finding things because it is not my regular grocery store, but they always seem to have what I need when I do stop on the way home from work. The store is clean and the shelves are always organized well.

To the manager named Patricia, or Patty. You were unhelpfu and just plain not nice. This I saw from the way you treat your workers, even before seeing how you treated your customers.I was getting dry ice today.. younger guy at the cashier was having a hard time ringing up my transaction. You provided no guidance to help him through, all you did-- along with the other fella in albertsons button up-- was standby while the young dude was trying to figure it out. A customer waiting behind had enough of it and just left his lunch on the cashier belt track. I felt really bad that this simple transaction made him want to skip his lunch. You couldve done better, and hope that you will.

Albertosons has great prices on fruits and veggies. There bakery items are fantastic! You can get good deals in the store and everone is friendly and helpful. There is also a starbuck and floral dept inside.

Huge. They have most of everything. Lots of ethnic food and more.than enough choices. They have a self checkout lane but no Google Pay or Apple Pay.

You need to watch the expiration dates on everything here. Too many times have I purchased milk, eggs, bread and more that are past the expiration date, or have just a few days remaining.

The peanut butter is too juicy the prune juice gets stuck in my teeth and the chicken makes my stomach ouchie and im not going to forget that the sale section is too small.

Its aight, i guess... They dont have self-checkout which is sad

Irvine Albertsons off culver. this checkout cashier was unnecessarily rude to a young man - embarrassing him for no reason & ripping his card from the card reader machine and shoving it back to him. he was visibly upset and tried to make a joke and she shut him down.we’ve all had a long day, but this is no way to react.very disappointed in how the situation was handled by her and upper management. 😔
