I really love this voluminous nursery in Issaquah. They always have TONS of plants, with the exterior arranged in a garden-like setting. This is also a popular nursery, expect a crowd on the weekends. There is a nice selection of seeds and bulbs for all seasons. The staff is knowledgable and friendly, and there is plenty of parking.The Master Gardeners used to have weekly clinics here in the summer, though COVID has put a dent in their schedule for the last 12 months.Olympic Otter

Squak Mt. Nursery is phenomenal! Their selection of healthy annuals and perennials is outstanding, and their staff is helpful and knowledgable. I was planting a large shade garden this past weekend and visited several big box nurseries, as well as a few private nurseries. The big box stores had a large quantity of specific fall flowers and shrubs, but not a lot of variety. The private nurseries where picked over, and looked as if they were about to close for the season. Squak Mt. on the other hand had large quantities of plants as well as a huge variety to choose from! It was such a great experience shopping and purchasing plants from Squak Mt. that I had to make 2 trips to bring home all the plants I wanted! Simply wonderful. Highly recommend the nursery at Squak Mt.!!

So glad I decided to check this place out! The land its on is so beautiful and peaceful. I parked and wandered through the outdoor plants and greenhouse area but realized there was a second indoor area to the left! Very cute gift shop as well as a ton of indoor plants. I saw two varieties of tradescantia that I havent seen locally at VERY reasonable prices! And I also saw a few Peperomia that I do not recall seeing before. They mostly stocked more affordable collector plants as well as a lot of common easy plants, lots of ZZ and Snake choices. Tons of unique pots as well!

Amazing prices and options! I found an alocasia bambino and a pink princess philodendron for under $150 total 😍😍😍

Great place to go for most of your gardening needs, I bought potting soil and found that my plants love this stuff! This is the same potting soil that is used for all their plants in the nursery. The staff is very nice and knowledgable. I was surprised to find a beautiful garden as I was coming to the entrance, there is a small and cozy gift shop with lots of funda and decorative items. There is a huge selection of plants and flowers to choose from. I will definitely be coming back, one of the staff members toldo me the nursery has classes on how to care for houseplants😁

Added stars for the follow up.Hi there, I purchased some $2-3000 of trees and plants here a few summers back and really enjoyed browsing your stock and was excited to make the investment. You were friendly and accommodating as I picked trees and plants over several days to be shipped together, and appreciated the opportunity to chat about planting recommendations. While the total ending up being quite a lot more than I planned I was confident I was shaping our property for the long term and comfortable with the investment. Having delivery was super helpful, but I was a little stressed by the speed with which things were unloaded without the ability to place appropriately, but understood that wasn’t an expected service. I noted several things delivered that I had asked to be switched out, and I had inadvertently been charged for them, so these items were taken back and I was advised I could receive a credit next time I shopped (not a refund). I was a little disappointed at that (I had just purchased 10 years worth of plants and it wasn’t my mistake...a refund would’ve been appropriate). Nevertheless I was super excited to get my trees going and moved on. Once you left I started moving the trees and noticed they were all dry, and appeared unwatered. I expected this was to minimise the weight in transit. This unfortunately caused the loss of over 75% of the trees purchased. The trees ended up encased in hard clay that would not absorb water and despite being on a constant watering system trees were dying. We dug up dead trees and broke open the root ball and discovered that the roots had all been broken off as the clay dried out and shrunk, and no water was able to get beyond the outer edge of the clay ball. I contacted you and advised of the issue, and received the response “we may be able to replace one or two...”. I was so disheartened by the outcome, loss of investment, lack of concern or responsibility I did not pursue. But I won’t ever shop there again and have mentioned to others (a landscaper in fact advised that trees dying from your nursery is not uncommon, especially in hot weather, due what you surround the roots with). I’m now asking publicly for a refund vice credit for the items delivered that were returned and consideration for the large loss caused by dry clay rootball issues on delivery, and at minimum provide a warning to others preparing to make large purchases.

Did you ever want to walk through the Garden of Eden without leaving the county? Heres your place.The grounds are lush and well thought out. Gorgeous waterfall, spectacular trees and immaculate greenhouse. And those arent even the items for sale!Well cared for plants, masterful pruning and wide variety. Definitely more money than getting plants at home depot, but a much more varied selection and certainly better taken care of as well.Come for the ambiance, leave with a trunk full of plants.

We just started going to this nursery. Like all nurseries, there are high prices, so it was a happy surprise that the nursery was offering “holiday cash”, like Kohl’s cash. I observed the dates and thought no problem for the time frame. I started reading the fine print and you have to spend dollar for dollar, and the store “cash” is only good for Holiday merch. I was thinking I might find a cache pot that isn’t too garish, we aren’t Christian so don’t need all kinds of Christmas themed stuff sitting around. We drive over on Sunday- gate is closed. I look at the website and their hours are not feasible for anyone who is working. Won’t be returning. I will make a major drive for a place like Molbaks.

Cant believe Ive driven by this place for over ten years and never stopped by. Knowledgeable staff, great quality plants and trees and fair prices. Will definitely be coming here for all our future nursery needs.

We came to get a tree, we were told someone would help us, so we waited. thirty minutes go by, still no one. we saw multiple workers walk past us but still no one came. we eventually had to dig this massive tree out of the ground, and brought it over to the car ourselves. we then had to call MORE times for someone to finally come help us. (thank you to the dude who helped us)

Love this place, beautiful setting with a large plant selection. I have blueberries, raspberries, persimmons, flowers and now a multi grafted dwarf plum. Staff is helpful and positive.

We ordered on line during Stay-at-home and were able to find most of what we needed. No contact pick up was great with plenty of spacing between orders arranged in the full former parking lot.

Technically it’s “open” but staff is completely absent so you can’t purchase anything anyway.

This is an excellent local nursery. They have a lot of variety, and the quality is very good. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It’s worth the extra drive for the service I receive! 👍🏻

Wonderful selection. Plenty of employees to answer questions, lift, make suggestions... The gift store has lovely, unusual gifts. Squak Mt Greenhouses is a mood lifting place to visit even when Im not buying.

A little $$$ but worth the quality of the product. Friendly customer service. In out drive way is tiny and not safe. Bridge should be widened to allow to vehicles to pass.

This place is a hidden gem in Issaquah, located on SR-900 as you depart town towards Renton.Wonderful nursery, a mini-Molbaks if you will, with an incredible variety and selection for the size of this place.Outside displays are fun to walk around, fuel for your imagination. If I lived closer and didnt have all the extra jobs I have, Id come just to hang out!Also, they have a great gift shop. Its not cram-packed, but the selection is good, and the displays are very appealing to look at, even if youre picky like me.

My first visit here was great! They have a large selection. Kimberly was very helpful and knowledgeable, she took great care of us! Would highly recommend.

Ive always loved this nursery for its beauty and everything Ive purchased has done very well. They really know their stuff and their spring hanging baskets are absolutely beautiful.

Love the nursery! My wife and I come every year and get the majority of a seasonal flowers here, especially hanging and wall baskets. While it may be a little more pricy than Home Depot, the quality of the what you get is worth it. One big advantage, if your like me and not an expert on flowers, they provide excellent advice on where and how to plant!

Seriously the best nursery Ive been to since moving to the Bellevue area. Super helpful and knowledgeable people. Vibrant well cared for plants and beautiful pots/ rich soil. They also have a darling gift shop if you are looking for nick-naks or just want a well potted house plant. I got some herb starters and succulents but will defiantly be back for their beautiful custom made hanging pot arrangements.

Really wish they had indoor houseplants in the fall/winter. Figured this would be a given since their name is has the word “greenhouse” and “nursery “ in it. Brought home a few houseplants plants in spring/summer and quickly realized they had fungus gnats. The potting soil I purchased also had bugs.
