It definitely has an interesting selection. It has lots of options for vegans and vegetarians and other special dietary needs. Its might be a little difficult to get some less healthy options, or affordable options, but thats not really the type of store that green star is. I really like that they have lots of local options though. For what it is, I highly recommend it. very clean

Quaint cafe and market in the heart of college town with a variety of nutritious snacks, meals, beverages and groceries to fulfill the immediacy of “eating on the go” or the delayed meal for a later time. Well stocked cafe/dining area with rather hip guitar instrumental music (at time of this visit). Friendly, considerate and informative employees whom might even rattle off a humorous quip (or two). Grateful to have stumbled in as the first stop on a weeklong trip to the Ithaca area. 👍🏼🙏🏼👍🏼

Great local organic grocery with such amazing vegan choices!

Comparable to Wegman in terms of store lay out presentation, the store is smaller scale with more premium local goods. Membership provides discount and it is a co-op open to investments. The overall design of the store is very economic friendly.

Too expensive for quality in Ithaca go to pc fresh they do a lot more local growers

A local organic food co-op. This one is focused primarily on coffee, snacks, and food to go (Most likely as a result of being near a college). Good selection for that kind of food. Lots of chips and frozen items too. Theres also a handful of produce.

Awesome compact grocery store with many healthy options in the densest part of the city. If you live in or near Collegetown, this is a very convenient option. If youre looking for organic, gluten free, all natural, high quality food, shop here. If youre looking for beer, cigarettes, Pepsi, stop at Jasons or 7-11.

Great store, the selection is pretty big, particularly in fruits and vegetables. They sell the other grocery store stuff you need as well, and have a small section of bakery/coffee, so you can get a lot of things done in a single visit. Its also right next to the bus stop, so its convenient to walk down, get your shopping done, and get onto the bus before heading up home.

A great place to buy organic dark chocolates!!! Its so convenient that this is close to Cornell campus. But of course not a good place to go for grocery shopping if you are on budget.

Green star is a bit expensive, however it is more convenient for people without cars or who otherwise cant make it off campus/collegetown. There are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options for premade food, and a decent selection of organic produce and products. Not always enough to justify the cost though.

Best co-op health food store in upstate NY

Great variety plus they have in-house options for a lot of products that are lesser in price (compared to brands). The store is nicely organised, the staff is friendly and the products are organic so yayy!
