Bob was the technician who diagnosed and replaced our pool pump. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He quickly completed the pump replacement/install and provided excellent teaching and training information to me that made me a more informed pool owner. I will recommend Bob and blue Hawaiian to every pool owner I know.

So after 7 months of waiting they finally showed up and installed our new liner back in May. I had paid 75% of the cost in October of 2020. The installation that should have taken 2 days took 10 days because the owners son, Christian, kept having to run to his Dad’s lake house every weekend while blaming it on a lack of workers. And my new liner still isn’t right as it is loose in three places.I was also on their waiting list to get new lights. Did they call and say hey we have some lights now do you want them? Nope they just showed up at my house. They couldn’t get the conduit for one of the lights to work. I was home that day. Did they ask me “Hey we need to flush out the conduit to see if it’s going to work is that ok as it will get the pool really dirty?” Nope they just turned my pool into a giant mud puddle without being able to replace the second light and left without speaking to my wife and I.So when I called their store to ask about it did I get to speak to someone? Nope they asked me to send pictures of the dirt they left in my pool to their “service” email address and then would only trade emails with me. No one will ever speak to you at this company.And then they send me an invoice for 3 service calls of $95 each when they only came by twice? And want to charge me $599 for a light that is $349 retail? You would think they wouldn’t charge me for coming by and attempting to fix my liner which still isn’t fixed as that’s on them. They didn’t tell us they were coming that time either. Just showed up and said they’d be back with the lights next time. But they were NOT at my house on three separate occasions.I guess if you want zero communication and zero customer service before, during, and after the sale, then this is the pool company for you. Working with BH has been without a doubt my worst experience with a service company ever. Buyer beware.

Mike came out to help us with our pump that wouldnt start when we opened our pool. Took him 5 minutes to get it going. Love that he tried the simple fix first instead of going right to repairs or full replacement which could have cost us tons of money. He was so nice, super friendly and even took time to answer our questions (we are new pool owners). We will definitely be using Mike and this company to close our pool in the fall. Thank you so much Mike!!

They were quick to get our new pump installed this summer so we could enjoy our pool. We will also be using them for a new liner install in the spring.

We had a pump replaced last yr by this company. The pump wasnt put together properly and one of the pipes was cut. He told us when he came out (summer 2021) to open our pool he would fix EVERYTHING he broke. Its time for our pool to be opened and now he wont return our calls or text messages . Therefore it just cost us over $250 to repair everything that was messed up.We will NOT be using this company anymore.

Have only had communication about pool installation quotes. Was ask to give address for a site visit, and quote. Gave the address, and was asked to come to the store location instead. Not a good start for an accurate quote. Not sure i will be moving forward with them.

Working with Blue Hawaiian to replace my liner. So far so good. Can’t wait for the finished project.

We have been nothing but pleased with our experience with Blue Hawaiian Pools. Before we began the process, we had an idea of what we wanted as far as design of the pool and surrounding decking. Johnny created plans to fit exactly what we wanted, and the crew worked so well to make the building process efficient. Everything has been perfect. We are still impressed with the quality 5 years later, and we recommend Blue Hawaiian to everyone!

This place is the absolute worst to work with. Had a service call back in March 2020. Paid the technician $95.00 on the spot before he left my home and I even tipped him for a good job. He brings check back to their office and they deposit check. They proceed to invoice me again and keep billing me for an “unpaid” service call. I telephone their showroom and speak to the manager. He assures me it’s taken care of. Two weeks go by and I get another invoice in the mail this time telling me I am 30 days past due for Service call I paid for on the spot. I called them again and tell them check their records I have paid for this immediately and they deposited the check. I mail them a copy of the check and copy of the invoice asking them to please stop billing me. Another 30 days goes by now they are putting finance charges as well as declaring me to be 60 days overdue. I finally make a visit to the show room and bring with me a copy of the canceled check and their invoice. I am given a song and a dance from the two women that work there. They swear to me that I am mistaken I’ve never mailed them back the copies of the canceled checks and they swear I’m wrong. They finally blame the poor technician and said that he put it in the cash register under the wrong account for their accounting system. Stay away from these incompetent fools. We won’t ever use them again. Rude, arrogant and just not worth the trouble to do business with.

Timely and responsive to need

Went in to get water tested and purchase a liner for 20x40 pool. After getting water tested ( fyi the girl acted like I was clueless about maintaining a pool that we have had for 25 years) . Went over and got with my wife and daughter looking at samples. After waiting there with only 1 other person in store for 30 minutes no one came and asked anything. We were serious about getting the new liner. Anyways, we left. Went to a store down the street and was greeted and helped almost immediately. He answered all our questions and was very helpful. We found one we liked and signed the paperwork for about $4,500 and left with a 4 week timeline. Reminds me of the movie Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts is looking in a store and and was snubbed. Then she went to another store and was helped and greeted and spent $$$$. She stopped back at the store after spending hundreds of dollars and ask if they remembered her. They said yes. She shows them what she had bought and said big mistake and walked out. It used not be that way when we dealt with Big John the dad who owned it at the time. I usually dont give bad reviews, but I was actually shocked since John put our pool in 25 or so years ago and have always had helpful courteous service.

This company built the perfect pool for my mothers backyard, and they help her keep her water clean. This is by far the best swimming pool company in Jackson.

Im extremely disappointed in the fact that it is taking me 3 months to get a new liner. I paid for it back on April 4th and the guy I wrote the check to said couple weeks. Now it will be the end of June. My last inquiry I was 8 on the list. They didnt bother to tell me how long the wait was going to be and didnt waste any time cashing my check. Normally I get pretty good service from them but this will be the last liner I get from them. Next time I will got go Aloha.
