Its cash only but they have an ATM. Ive been doing for years and I love their food. Burgers are small so you have to get more than one. Dining area isnt open yet so its take out. Recommend if your looking for something different and local

Finally got to stop in here dont understand what the hype is other than the historical look and feel of the place. The burger was okay the bacon was undercooked but the french fries is very good. It would be a place I would go when Im drunk and my taste buds arent running on all cylinders. With that said youre right next to a major highway so if you come here drunk and you drive theres a good chance youll get a DWI

No frills long established local sliders joint. This place keeps it simple and you get what you expect - great tasting sliders and fries. Get a side of fries and a side of pickles to put on your sliders. They wont put pickles on the sliders, but you can and the acidity of them really rounds the sliders out. If you are able to dine in, do so, as the inside will transport you to the 40s/50s.

Bad customer service. We arrived at 8:30pm and they close at 9pm. Pretty much we were rush to order because staff said they wanted to leave right away. It’s hard to understand the state of New Jersey, people want to make money but they never want to work. The burgers were super oily. We went because of the reviews but they were awful, the whole experience was bad, food and service. If you are from here you might like it because that’s the NJ normal, but if you are from out state don’t wasted your money.

This is one of those spots that bring you back! Burgers were nice and juicy and old fashioned. YOU HAVE TO TRY THE SEASONED WAFFLE FRIES. Overall a nice experience. Friendly staff. Don’t expect this to be a fancy restaurant, it has a comfy and home feeling.

Every day I would pass this diner and would see people going there. Day or night. I wanted to taste their burgers. Well I must say very delicious and a good price. Now I want to taste the other foods on menu.. The only problem is you cannot eat inside. But understandable for now.

I go to Jersey City now and then so Ive been driving past this place for over 30 years, always thinking I should stop and see whats up, and tonight I said what the hell, and did.The history, atmosphere, and the places unique architecture are the story to me. Plus edible eats at bygone prices.The building, with its cozy circular counter dates to the NY Worlds Fair of 1939, and its been run by only two families ever since, for about 40 years each, and they definitely show pride of ownership in how they run and talk about their place.The burgers recall White Castle, except without the holes and at least double the thickness.Nothings gussied up or gourmet, so do accept it on its own period terms. I did, and Ill be back.Its really iconic, and I hope its there for another 40 years and more.

Cheap, fast, and delicious. The frickin onions make those burgers 100x more delicious than they have any right to be. Really cool building and feel, hopefully when covid is over itll be able to open up its diner counter seating.

Open 24 hours, this uniquely designed building on a busy corner in New Jersey serves up sliders of all types. We went with the $7 special with 3 sliders, fries, and a drink. Famous patrons include Mike Tyson...which by coincidence you can also see where he keeps his pigeons a couple houses down from restaurant.

Only regret was not asking the cook to add two extra patties to this 1/4 lb. burger to get it to the heft Im accustomed to ... and, add copious amounts of bacon ... but it was alright! Love the history, the ambiance, the service ... location is a bit of a PITA at rush hour, though, as Tonelle Avenue is a divided highway and the area is saturated with cars (there are only two ways to exit the lot and getting where you need to go is tough unless the kindness of strangers comes into play - there was none to be had for me last night!) Definitely worth the stop, either way!

WOW . This Place is the Best Burger place next to White castles. Portuguese Owners cant get better than that. This is slider Heaven. This is Breakfast Heaven too. Anyway you like it. Always a great place for a good conversation and piping hot coffee. Boxing photos everywhere because Mario owns the Ringside across the street. Rumor has it that Mike Tyson has pigeon coops someplace across the street. Seriously this place has steamy awesome burgers a great place to warm up on a cold day. Burgers called webs? I walked in thinking Id be entering an old.school.jersey diner. All they had was a deep fryer and a flat grill. No grilled chicken. Basically a glorified white castle. No dine in seating at this time due to covid. I left without eating there so I cant comment on the quality of the burgers.

I live in Colorado Springs now. I muss this place a lot. Do they still serve Krispy Kremes? The staff were so nice and friendly.

Amazing food. Deplorable service. This place implodes the second there are more than a few people trying to order. Stood in for ten minutes and wasnt even acknowledged. When I first walked in I asked the cook how he was doing and he yelled not now. I say do show up but if it looks busy save yourself the headache.

Delicious “sliders” the home of the original tiny burgers! Under $10 for fries & 3 cheeseburgers. Good customer service. You order inside but due to COVID all sitting chairs are taped off. Much better option than McDonald’s (much tastier). Historic little place close to liberty park which has amazing views. CASH ONLY!! There is an ATM onsite.

Burgers are fantastic as always. Docked a star because they wont take orders for pickup over the phone which is annoying when youre someone like me ordering 30 cheeseburgers for a get together.

A Jersey classic. I had a hangover and went here on Sunday morning for the cure. Mission accomplished. A couple of sliders with some fries and it was good as I remember. I usually hit the Hackensack location but this was just as good if not better. If you need sliders this is the spot.

Great sliders quick service, no call head ordering because of how fast they dish out the food so that’s understandable, lots of history here been around since 1939 and you can tell.

Burgers at its best. For now, take out with burgers that are made in its original formulation from 1946 still in the same modest location and small facade with ample parking space. Buns, burgers patties all made in house for the best tasting fresh made burgers cooked right in front of you.

The burgers was decent for the price the buns were too doughie had to chew too much and the onion rings were probably jus taken out of the freezer and dropped in the oil it was like onion mush with breading around it but over all the burgers were good for the price

I celebrated my PhD last night in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a enjoyable evening and the restaurant was no doubt one of the reasons for that outstanding event. The waiters cooperated in a pleasant manner, the food was extremely good and my guests were very happy. We shall surely visit again for more events. thanks very much.

Ive been going here since I was a little boy. You cant eat just one burger when you get started. A friend, practicing vegetarian, was told she wasnt getting enough protein in her diet by her dr. She hadnt eaten meat in over 19 yrs. She sat down and ate 5 burgers.

Just doesnt compare to the one in Hackensack. Went here and was disappointed. They use white bread (instead of potato) and they chop their onions and mix them in with the beef (instead of slicing and grilling in top). Bun was too big for the tiny patty as well. Not returning here.

Place is old school and brings lots of different people in, super friendly staff and yummy burgers. Cheeseburger special is a goto for me, 3 Cheeseburgers, fries (or onion rings) and a drink for under 10 buck (i think its $8) cant be beat. Burgers are a little bigger than sliders, think of a bigger white castle burger, but if it was made from fresh ground beef meat balls, squashed and grilled on a flat top right in front of your face. Luis is my favorite grillmaster, super nice guy and can get chatty if its not too busy. They will gladly tell you the history of the building and how they are the ORIGINAL White Mana (not manna). I dont know the older ladies name that is usually there, she looks very stoic at first glance but she is also very nice. This is the kind of place you can sit next to a guy in a suit and someone from the neighborhood at the counter. They have breakfast and other things but I never tried them. Its worth it to go just to check out the building. Definitly a slice of Jersey City history and a must see if you are visiting. I think it gets busy on fri/sat nights because of the RINGSIDE bar across the street. PICKLES AND ONIONS PLEASE.

Theyre better than White Castle, Burger King, McDonalds and Wendys... taste more home made to me.

I dont know what is the obssession with this place. Yeah its been there for years. They are famous for burgers apparently. I got to say they were not so great. They were more like homemade white castles. Not very tasty and not grilled right in my opinion. Dont waste your time here. And definitely dont bring family. Well at least not the wife. Its more like a trucker place.

As the name implies, this is food from the heavens. Food is always made fresh in front of you when you order. My Friday nights start here with a dozen sliders, cross the highway for some drinks at the Ringside Lounge and then a little fun at the Roadway in. White Mana keeps it simple with their menu and lets the quality of their food speak for itself!
