Marie was very knowledgeable of her business . She knew exactly what I needed when I came in. She gave me a tour of the site, showed me how to use the gate and helped me with merchandise. Moving can be so stressful as everyone knows. Marie was so patient and kind through the process and made it easy and stress free. I feel much better knowing my items are in a safe, clean and well lit facility with people who actually care. Definitely recommend this place.

Marie has been more than polite and very helpful with any issue and just pleasant to talk to about payments and whats going on around the storage facility.

We have used this storage facility a few times in the past 4 years due to moving, and our storage needs. Marie has been a true compassionate and professional person to deal with, especially with our most recent use of this location. Due to the pandemic, and the world as crazy as it is, we’ve been able to deal with Marie with any situation we’ve needed. We needed a extra unit, and she was able to make one available immediately, to help with the stress load of moving, and has truly been a great help!! If you’re in need of a storage unit, supplies, or anything call they might have to suit your needs, and ask for her!! You’ll be glad I told you about her and this storage facility!!

Stopped in earlier this week to inquiry about storage prices and available units. I spoke to Marie who was very helpful in explaining all the different options and prices. High recommend this location if you are looking for extra storage.

This is a great place to rent a unit. The prices are reasonable as long as youre not renting the last two units in the facility, lol. This place is extremely secure and safe. The facility and units were clean and well lit. They have great hours. 6am to 10pm everyday is a great time to allow all your customers access to their units. Marie is extremely helpful, pleasant and professional. I have been a customer here over a year and Im glad I made the decision to store my things here.

The people at the Oak Leaf St. Cube Smart were absolutely great in helping me locate, set up and acquire the rental spaces I needed. Larry Glenn was particularly helpful, as he remembered me from three years prior. The process has been easy and units were clean and completely ready. I needed multiple units and Larry made each additional acquisition easy and simple as did the other people working the office.I highly recommend this facility and the staff. They are great.

The first call to meeting the site mgr was excellent. Both were very professional and informative. I was able to reserve my storage room, setup everything online. Meeting the mgr made me feel my belongings would be safe and secure!

Great place to put away stuff. Safe (they call you if your unit is unlocked) and check the doors on a daily basis.

Been a long time customer, the staff is great, they plow the snow away from the doors unlike some other places I have used in the past who push the snow against the door and leave a 2 frozen berm, can get a little crazy on weekends around there as it is a little tight but still get a car or truck around easily . and the heated units in the winter are heated, not like other places that think 33* is heated . plus they do drive around and check the place during open hours .

Great facility! The Cubesmart facility and staff located at 2114 Oak Leaf Street in Joliet Illinois create a welcoming atmosphere. The units were clean and Larry the GM was quite helpful in obtaining 2 Climate controlled drive up accessible units, a 35ft and an additional 5ft. and i also purchased a secure quality lock. Would highly recommend facility.

Ive been in this facility since April 2016 and when I first went to see the space, I was concerned about the security of the building. Well my husband told me I was just being paranoid (I work for a security company, so I suppose I have higher standards).The people that work here are always very nice – yes, but I think everyone who stores here should know what we experienced last weekend.October 2016 on a Sunday AM, we were at the unit, maybe around 8-830am. We have 2 units here and we were consolidating to one unit. We parked our truck outside our main unit and of course had the windows down. I noticed a lady walking around the property and didn’t think much of it at first, until she started getting EXTREMELY close to our vehicle, looking in our windows. Walking in between our truck and our storage unit and kept looking into our space. She continued to do this for a while and we opted not to say anything to her – maybe she’d just leave us alone. (She looked like she was high on something). The next thing we notice, is she started to jump the fence in the back corner where the barbed wire is bent, and left the unit. A few minutes later, she was back in the unit (she went through the fence (literally walked through) on the other gate further down). Now she is back to walking around, staring at us… watching our every move. She kept sitting on the ground and watching us. She disappeared for a bit again and then a little while later, she climbed the front gate (that you enter through) and just sat on there for a while. She eventually got down, and came back to our unit and at that point my Husband asked her if she had a problem and she mumbled that she was looking for someone. She was walking in and out of our belongings and staring in our unit again. So we opted to tell her to leave us alone or else we’d call the cops.The cops showed up – and right when they showed up someone opened a unit from the inside and she went in to their unit. With the hour and half we were there, not once did we see someone’s vehicle, etc. there except for another person at his unit that we talked to, to make sure he locked his vehicle b/c of her. My personal thought… I can’t say whether or not the guy was there before us that morning, or if he stayed in his unit overnight. It’s just very odd that someone from the inside of their unit after 1 – 1 ½ hours just opens up like it’s nothing.I called the management on Sunday – talked to a girl there, and said the manager was off until Tuesday AM. I haven’t heard from anyone, and I had to call the property manager today. He told me they have warned the individual at the unit she went into that she isn’t allowed back there or she will be arrested. I expressed my concerns about the unsecure parts of the building and they mentioned they reinforced those spots a few weeks ago. I suggested they check them again.Unfortunately, we will be leaving this place as soon as possible b/c with all the crazy stuff that happens these days that you see on the news, if we don’t feel safe at a place, how can we continue to pay them. I wish we had a better experience as this place was very close to us.**ALSO I’d like to note – they asked me not to put a review on here b/c it would be unfair b/c it was a one-time experience and this has never happened before. Everyone has the right to believe what they want, but I also have the right to express my concerns and to share my experience.
