Excellent Mechanic.I got an oil change done, they forgot to put the oil fill cap back on (kinda my fault because I did go right at closing) but they corrected.I also got my brake master cylinder and brake booster done, they exceeded my expectations.I really think I found a new mechanic, who stands behind his work.

Just this morning my mothers car had a problem with a starter, and the shop sent us a gentleman to help us start the car. Only charged small amount of cost. Thanks for helping us!

I have had work completed here multiple times and always pleased. I drive a Volkswagen and it’s always best to read the Volkswagen owner blogs about repairs before heading to any mechanic as the blogs remind us that sometimes it’s a small part attached to a larger part that may be your issue. I say that to say this; these guys will help you anyway they can. If I tell them I’d like to replace the $25 part that’s attached to the $500 part first, they do it. These folks are what we call in our part of the state “good people!” Keep up the good work.

Charlotte & Surrounding areas if you are looking for someone honest, efficient, and affordable to take your car to then look no further than Whitney Automotive & Diagnostics. They let me know that I didn’t need all of the parts that Honda initially said that I did and gave me the option to get less work done if I wanted- I was so surprised. They also found a problem that Honda and another shop missed, my front sway bar links were broken this entire time- which explains why the handling on my car was horrific when I brought it in. I thought it was only the rear. They quickly fixed them and our little Honda handles so much better already. Also, the price I was quoted over the phone is the price that I paid, no surprises or taking advantage of you once your car is hoisted in the air.The atmosphere is friendly and professional, yet lighthearted. O and I forgot to mention, their work is warrantied as well!I have a few more repairs and will definitely be back to this little gem of a business. They were truly amazing! Thanks Guys.

After spending the night off the interstate with an overheated vehicle, I limped in on Monday morning with great anxiety not knowing what to expect. These guys helped diagnose my issue and replaced a water pump at a phenomenally great price for me, in a timely manner while I waited. I was on my way, and my vehicle has performed as normal since. Mike and Shelby are amazing people. While taking my two week old and 9yr old to the pediatrician for a check up I ran over a nail. My husband was out of town and called Mike. Not only did he come rescue me, he had a shop full of cars he stopped working on to be able to do so. He also wouldnt let me pay him anything. As Shelby said, he is one of the good ones!!! Ive known this family for many years. They are honest and hardworking people who truly deserve your business. Dont put your trust (or money) in a big corporate company. Put your trust in a business owned and operated by a family who understands what life is really like for most people. UPDATE: My SUV started making a minor noise when I braked. (occasionally, not every time & not every day) So I called a dealership to get their opinion. Of course the dealership had me thinking my brakes were completely shot & I needed to make an appointment asap to prevent any future damage. I live in Lincolnton, Whitney Automotive is in Kannapolis. I decided to make the hour drive because I wanted an honest assessment of what repairs my car might need. Within 30 minutes Michael had my tires pulled off, a rotor off and my brake pads off. He came inside and showed me everything and explained how I did not need new brakes. Michael made a few suggestions on what was causing the noise. All in all, I was there a little over an hour, saved more than $100 bucks and now my car is not making the noise at all. Not to mention Shelby was great with helping keep my 2 year old entertained. The hour trip here was worth it. I left with a peace of mind knowing I was driving my family around safely and I didnt have to go in debt to do it.Thank you Shelby & Michael.

Terrible mechanic. Didnt diagnose car before doing work. Didnt change clamp when changing water pump which was not diagnosed either. Drove car with no fluids in it and told us head casket was cracked......all the car needed was a new thermostat
