I Googled black owned but I dont believe this is black owned. They have pretty good inventory though.

I’m not sure why this place has so many good reviews, but the service is terrible. Now, I will admit, when the black girl is there she greets and she’s helpful but as for the foreigners, they both are rude. They look you right in the face and don’t speak, then, they follow you around like a criminal without saying thanks after spending your hard earned money with them. I will not be returning, and I’ve also went as far as letting my friends and family know about their service. And FYI, not everyone steals! Y’all scaring the honest customers away.

Great customer service but worst human hair wigs. I bought my my wife 2 “ human hair wigs” in one month. Hair sheds horrible and tangles. Waste of money. I wanted her to have something just to last one month.Guess have to spend $$$$$$$$

I know this store need to watch there merchandise but its awful. First experience I went to test their make up foundation with their testers and the China man came over to me and saidI hope you using the testers. Man Im 60 years old and I know better. The next time I went there this black girl followed me from isle to isle. Before entering the store they had a sign on the door that says, hiring must be between 20-40 to apply. Dont they know thats age discrimination!!!!. I will NEVER go back. They have another wig store in the same shopping center that will get my money from here on👋BYE

This place is so unprofessional and allows you to pay for their mistakes. If you misprice an item that is not my fault it yours and you employee. You should honor your prices. You business runs of the backs of African Americans so you should appreciate that they keep your doors open. They have a BLACK OWED beauty supply right across the street called B&B I will definitely spend my money there. Thanks for nothing Jury

I am a consumer and I should NOT be followed around by store employees like a criminal, at a business, that I choose to patronize. An older Asian guy followed myself and another customer around so closely that even she had to mention how uncomfortable she was and I agreed. I mean, IF you are going to follow your customers around the store, then as business owner you should at least have enough common sense to utilize your customer service skills and ask those customers if you can assist them, right? But of course, I cant expect respect from anyone who refuses to see my money as an asset to their business. Therefore, this is the last time Ill come to this store because the customer service I received was not acceptable and I refuse to be treated poorly especially when I choose to spend MY MONEY with a business.

The owner is extremely prejudice and the store has very low grade quality hair being cheaply imported while marking them up to higher prices. Staff treats you as a criminal by following you around the store and talking loudly about other customers while they are in ear shot. Save yourself a headache and go to another store with better products, and service.

One of the largest and best beauty supply stores in Katy. The staff is always willing to help. They are friendly and knowledgeable about the products that they sell. They sell products for children, men and womens hair, as well as other beauty items and jewlery.

The ladies in the store are very sweet and helpful with finding things that you need. The only issue I had is that if I wanted to check out they had to call the owner of the store from the back and have him do it. I asked them why and they said that he doesnt trust them with the money and he prefers to do it himself. I was floored but since they put up with it willingly I moved past it. I hope eventually that policy changes.

We called to see exactly where they were located and they kept passing the phone and then when I heard it get to the English speaker she laid the phone down and said Im going to do this first they can wait, after a few minutes I just hung up.I drove there and found it, they seemed a little high to me.

Please advise your customer service ladies that they probably shouldn’t talk about customers while other customers are in ear shot. & it’s not wise to gloat about how you told a customer off on the phone for asking a simple question. Besides that, no one asked if I needed help when there was only one other customer in the store.

The service has gotten 100% better. I feel much better about going there now.

This is most poorly run beauty supply store that I have ever been in! I went in with the intention of spending over $200 in this place for wigs and hair supplies but they were more interested in holding idol conversation and eating, than helping me. The wigs are up on the wall so you can’t look at them close up. One of them did pull two wigs down but after I told her that is not what I’m looking for, she was basically done with me. After that experience, I didn’t and will never purchase anything from them. The only reason they got one star is because I had to in order to write this review!!!!!!!

On January 15, 2016 I visited this store (which I often visit 3-4 times per month) and used my debit card the transaction failed. The female clerk presented the receipt to me I asked her what did this mean see replied oh someone was on the phone it did not go through. She swiped my card again as a credit and I left the store. On January 18, 2016 I reviewed my checking account and discovered both transactions went through for the same amount. I returned to the store demanding my money and spoke to a Kevin on the phone who informed me that the second transaction would be refunded to me by my bank because it showed as a failed transaction and their batch report was correct for that day. He asked me to return in 2 days if it did not reverse. On January 20, 2015 I returned to the store to receive my money because the charge did not reverse. Kevin again informed me that their reports were correct and asked me to return in 2 days. I became outraged and contacted my bank and spoke to her on speaker who informed Kevin that both transactions went through and was not going to be reversed. She informed him to contact his accounting department or merchant to discover the extra money received. Kevin stated he would call as suggested and return my call. On January 21,2016 I received a phone call to return to the store to receive my money. I arrived at the store and the same female clerk stated she could not give me cash that she needed to swipe my card to receive my money. After 3 trips to this store to receive my money she provided me with two 10% cards off my next purchase. I or any member of my family will never returned to this store again. They just lost a loyal customer.

Found everything I needed and some. I was headed out for a cruise and needed a few make-up items. Was able to get some make-up and lashes at a reasonable price!

I brought somethings yesterday and I asked the lady if it wasn’t the right one can I bring it back to exchange it and she said yes, went back today and the lady there told me no. This product was never opened or use with my receipt and the lady they was very rude. Very bad customer service.

They usually house a good variety/selection or hair, hours are pretty good. Customer service is eh. Sometimes they act like theyre doing you a favor by allowing you to spend money in their store (which is why WE should own our OWN beauty supply stores...ijs). BTW, their website links takes you Sallys Beauty Supply...

Its okay but not great. The cost of the product is way more than your regular store where you would buy yr product because they add a dollar or two on the product. Not good! Its only good when you have no choice or yr place you go buy yr product is too far.

Came to buy floaties for pool, previous one had leakage, didnt return that coz I opened that 2 months after purchase, explained to manager and requested to let me buy the one which was already inflated to avoid the same problem. Waited for over minutes talked to 3 diff people of no use. Noone seemed to care

I was happy when this place first opened, so glad there was a shop that sold the type of beauty supplies I used. Then I went there... I left outraged. I was the only customer in the store, and they had the black lady that worked there following me around as I browsed the products. When she came onto the same aisle I was on the first time I didnt think anything about, but then I went another aisle, then another section of the store, and she followed me to each location! I think theyve been opened @ 3 years now, and I never gone there again until last week. New black lady works there, but she was very nice, and she didnt follow me around the store as though I was on the verge of stealing something. Shes the only reason that Im giving this store 3 stars, rather than 1.

I have been shopping at this place for a while now but the service keeps getting worse and worse. They are not at all concerned about customer service. It feels like customers are an inconvience. The selection is not very wide. The place is clean and tidy .
