I usually come here and the staff has always been friendly until today. I walked in for one item and the two women we’re too into their own conversation and didn’t want to help me. I asked if they had any auburn Anastasia brow definer left in their back stock bc there was not any on the shelf. One of the ladies turned to the other and said no and the other said all that they have is on the shelf bc she had been “stocking”. The shelf did not have much on it as it was close to closing time but it wouldn’t have hurt to actually look in the back stock. There was a good 15 minutes before closing and they did not even greet me when i came in, they were just talking at the register.
Great selection, reasonable pricing and friendly staff. Hassle free and more free shopping.
Worst store location ever went to make a return and the supervisor made me go through hoops to return an item that I ordered that I had my order packing slip then she refused to return it unless I showed her an email when outside downloaded the app pulled up my account with the order number and the price and everything in it that still wasnt good enough for her I had she needed to see the email thank goodness I didnt delete them went back outside went into my email account just to pull it up bring it back to show her because this location has no Wi-fi so now so Im going in and out of the store several times then she once I show the email then she wants to see my ID and Im like why do you want to see my ID after having to do all that then after showing her giving her my ID she didnt says were going to process it as a no receipt return then why make me go through that I wasted 30 minutes in this store will never go here again worst location dont ever go here if you expect to have great customer service
Only reason Ive came here is bc its close to my job. Shelves are always empty and every time Ive came here the girls are always at the make up counter doing their make up. Probably the worst most awkward sephora location Ive visited.
Been here twice this week. Both times Michelle help me. She is great in helping find what I need. Definitely coming back. Thanks Michele for making my shopping experiences less stressful.

Whats not to like about Sephora inside JCPENNEY,, they have everything from mens cologne to womens perfumes, makeup palettes, anti-wrinkle cream, face serums, self tanners, the evil do a free make-up Do Over for you. I really like how they will give a little bottle of spritzer sample of any and every cologne you want to try out before you buy. If theyre really really busy I fill the little bottle up myself,, they see me and they throw me a thumbs up, because theyre not having to leave the register to give out samples, so they do not mind,, I love that ! So when you get done in Sephoria, why not grab you a pair of pants, a new shirt or hoodie, and finish it off with a new pair of shoes !! I love Sephoria and so will you!!!
Visited this location at around 4:20pm on 5/24/21. I came in looking for Tom Ford Noir, which they did not have. I was the only customer in the store and the (2) associates being paid to be there were more worried about wiping the sample bottle that I tried than selling me anything. I felt very uncomfortable and actually wanted to try out another kind of cologne since they did not have the one I wanted. But the way they were looming over me made me decide to just leave and go somewhere else...Amazon. They seemed very put off that I disrupted their hanging out and talking. Whats the point of having a store with people like this working there??
It didnt have the Fenty blurring tint that I was looking for.
I ran in the store to replace my Clinique makeup. Both employees were at the registers so there was no one on the floor helping. I had to find my makeup myself. (Or what I hoped was similar) when I was finally acknowledged I asked for help. The male employee didn’t want to move from behind the register, but the other assistant decided to take a break. He told me what I was looking for was online but didn’t recommend anything else. I would have purchased more items had he actually helped. I won’t be returning to this location. I also really loved how he made me reach all the way across the counter to get my bag.

This was the worst Sephora Ive ever been in.... horrible customer service, horrible color match, witnessed racial discrimination, rudeness to other customers.... just an overall terrible experience. I would give zero or negative stars, if possible. Clean up your act!!!
They arent bothering to stock this store, maybe the Penneys is closing soon.

Are you kidding me this place is amazing I am like a kid in a candy store here I want everything I literally tell myself here we go because I get so excited like its a ride Im serious cosmetics and skin care and fragrance and body care and pampering is everything to me. Michelle is very helpful and nice. My only complaint is that this Sephora has been out of my make up color and brand the last 2 times I have came in. Thankfully Michelle was nice enough to help me find something else. I still prefer my original make up brand though and hope they restock soon!

Empty shelves, the line to check out was long and there was only 1 employee at the register despite there being other employees nearby. Took a good while before other employees finally came to help the one at the register. I was buying a gift and asked for tissue paper because my products were poking out of the bag. They didnt have any. So I asked for a bigger bag. They didnt have any either. WHEW CHILE!

I just wanted to say that Kim was very professional and a sweetheart. She knew what I wanted after I explain to her what happen to me at Ulta. I went to Ulta several times and lets say that they are a total mess. There I bought 3 foundations (separate occasions) and all 3 were a different shade of color. Never could they matched my skin either it was to pale or to orange/dark. Kim took her time and we tried 3 different kinds of shades and we both agreed on a shade that match my skin color. I just cant wait to wear my new foundation. I went from Becca to Huba.. Thanks Kim for everything.
Worst customer service ever. I came in for a new foundation. I waited 50 minutes to get a color match and was never helped. I kindly reminded the curly hair guy that I was waiting for almost a hour and his response was no it’s been 34 minutes, when it clearly wasn’t. I took a picture as soon as I walked in the store and it said it was taken 50 minutes ago. I continued to wait and to they still didn’t bother to assist me. I will rate it with 0 stars but it does not let me

If I could give this location 0 stars, I definitely would without a doubt. The employees are extremely rude and disrespectful. They claim to always be booked with custom makeovers, yet when you walk in, there is absolutely no custom makeovers taking place. You ask a simple question, and they give you attitude. Definitely not worth stepping foot in this place. LaCenterras Sephora is just a few minutes away and the employees always treat you with respect.
Slow and under staffed. 10 people in line and only one person to check out. You would think that they would staff up during the holiday season.
Sale assistance was very helpful and friendly, and was concerned if I found everything I needed.When I first came in the door, I ask for the womens section, and sale person told me what wsy to go.When I was ready to checkout, I was asked again if I found everything I came in for.and asked me if I had the 10% coupon for totals purchase? I dont think I have ones can I pull it up on my phone, sheve one mo need to.I thought that was nice of her.My trip tonight was very good, and all was friendly and helpful.Thanks JCPenny!!!

I have gone to this Sephora twice in a month and associate: 0551 has helped me both times. She is very pushy when i told her twice i didnt want a credit card she proceeded to having me fill out the application on the pinpad. I had to tell her again I wanted to make a purchase and not sign up for a credit card. Today she applied a tester stick foundation on me without my approval and blended it out with the dirty brushes they have. Very unprofessional and unhygienic; I did not even have a chance to stop her from applying the foundation because she did it so quick.
They seriously lack customer service. Everyone has a sour face like they are unhappy to be there.. Do they even realize, that the customers ARE the reason they make their paychecks?? These people need to snap outta their bad attitudes, or find a new job.

I didnt read the reviews until 1 week after I purchased makeup. Glad I didnt! The male attendant was a bit sketchy at first, so I agree with some of the other reviewers. A secret shopper or finding out a name to put him on blast will solve that problem. I wont do that, because although I waited 20 minutes or so to be color matched, the young lady was so informative and friendly, all of my side eyedness (lolll) disappeared! She offered samples, showed me how to apply Fenty, then put concealer over mostly all of my face. She explained how you hv to warm up the product or use a tissue, great stuff! The guy was friendlier at checkout and gv me more tips as I was leaving.Id say, making them aware these Google reviews can affect their evaluations and more customer service training could make this place hv a higher overall rating. The young Latin woman who seems to be a makeup artist deserves all 5 stars!

The Sephora employees at the JcPenny location make you feel so uncomfortable. They will follow you everywhere and watch your every move even if youre not doing anything. One of the employees called me and my friends out in front of everyone asking if we had taken the fenty beauty foundation sample. In my opinion they had no reason to believe that we were suspicious we were simply just looking around. While they were focusing on us just looking at the products they missed a girl walking out with products and didnt catch up to her in the end. Also Black lady probably a manager; not even five minutes getting into the store crept up on me & stared me down while I was trying to find my fenty beauty foundation. I understand they have to do their jobs but following people around every second is not the way. Manager was not even in uniform. She was rude and did not even offer to help or provide any such service. Didnt even want to keep looking around nor did I buy anything because I felt attacked and just waited for my two other friends so we could leave. I do not recommend coming to this store again.
The girls on the floor are not helpful at all. The only one that provides great customer service is the manager shes so helpful and sweet.
