Super cute dessert and snack shop, reasonable prices, and kind staff! IThe bing su was lovely and refreshing! I love that it wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. The Mochi Donuts are like a dream, light and fluffy, and wow the crunch and taste of the Korean corn dogs is amazing!!! Definitely a must try place if you’re in the area!
The dessert was delicious 😋 very different, the hot dog version was good not great though. Will have again. The over priced donuts are good if you eat there not for next day eating they were disgusting.
These are now my favorite donuts. Ive never had donuts like these and I like them more than any other donut Ive tried. We got the ube one and also the korean shaved ice with berry toppings, and hot dog and cheese on a stick. They were all really good, especially the donuts and shaved ice. Im from Hawaii and we love shaved ice. This is like a milky shaved ice with ice cream and toppings. I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed with it. Highly recommend trying this place if you like mochi or donuts or shaved ice or fried things or anything korean lol. Its a cute little place right by HMart in Katy.
Loved trying their Korean style corn dogs. I got the sweet potato and cheese, was not disappointed. Theyre mochi donuts were great as well and actually change every week so be sure to come back for other flavors. I recieved the food fast so it could be a quick stop for lunch or if you have a sweet tooth!
What at first seems like a strange combination actually turns out to be a wonderful idea. Touted as a Korean Dessert Cafe, Bing Su also offers variations on the traditional hotdog as well as shaved ice and soft serve custard. We had already eaten but did get the Oreo BingSu, two soft serve cups and a Fresh Mango BingSu. Everything was excellent. Definitely a must try if youre craving something sweet. We will be back to try the hot dogs.
Fantastic Ice Selections. Very unique ice cream and crispy waffle base, chocolate syrup whipped cream, strawberries
The mozzarella dogs here are really tasty and very crispy. We tried one with the sweet potatoes added and one without. Both were great. The donuts are also good, but are a bit overly sweet. Dipping sauces for the dogs were quite nice and added an extra dimension. The service wasnt exactly unfriendly but could have been a bit better.
Latest Korean dessert in Katy. Fresh ingredients, different layers of ice creating a delicious indulgence — crunchy shaved ice on the bottom, smooth “creamy” ice in the middle, condensed milk, “fluffy” snowflake-like ice on top. Whole blueberries, quality cheesecake, tasty red beans... these are just some of the selection. Prices are on the high end, with tax and tips $10+ for a small bowl. Noticed lots of customers are sharing.
My kids and I love this place. If you havent tried a Korean rice hot dog I highly suggest you try one. They are different and delicious. My favorites are the all mozzarella and the potato hot dog. Also the bing su is sooooo yummy. I only wish that there was a location closer because the Bing Su wont make it home without melting so we eat it in the car before driving home. Desert before dinner is OK sometimes right? 😝
I love this place. We drive all the way from the Spring area and it’s worth it each time. I just wanted to mention that I completely understand that it gets busy but it’s always dirty. The tables are dirty. The restrooms are dirty. I went yesterday and none of the restrooms had toilet paper or soap. I don’t mind clearing my own table because I always have wet wipes. However, not everyone is a fan of that. Again, this is a great place.
The sweet potato hot dog was amazing. I love this place.
Their mochinuts are so good! I love the variety they have too. Super quick service and friendly staff.
I absolutely adore this place. Been here more than a few times and it hits every single time I visit. I never thought the idea of sugar coated corn dogs would work but theyre so amazing. I usually get the mozzarella dog and the cheddar dog and they both work great with ketchup and sweet chili sauce. Its also inexpensive for great quality! I would recommend this to anyone.
Definitely better than many bing su/shaved ice places in houston area. Its pretty crowded most times ( especially late dinner when everyone wants desserts ). My favorite bing su flavor is the black sesame and i can confidently say its the best black sesame bingsu in texas. ( ive been to places in dallas and austin). Its slightly pricey but not over priced! I come here with friends or family often! Recommended!!!
Taiyaki true milk ice cream was very tasty! The new chungchun was amazing especially that they are accommodating to have only cheese. The cheese is very stretchy as you can see it is very tasty. At first I thought it would be very salty and overwhelmingly savory, however you have the option to add sugar on top and it really makes a difference! I recommend having the cheesy corn dog with ketchup and honey mustard! The large bingsu is really large and was very delicious! It does get a bit too sweet but sharing with a group is the way to go!
The facility is very clean and casual. There has always been a decent crowd of people there the during my visits. Their bing su is really good, but its a bit to expensive for what it is. It about 10$ for a large which is probably 75% just shaved ice, and the 25% is the flavors. The large is enough to share with 2-4 people though.
Delicious! Bigger portions than expected, great for a date or hang out with friends. The green tea shaved ice was delicious, great ratio or red bean and mochi.
Stopped by BingSu’s Grand opening today and I have to say hot dog step aside because Korean Hot Dogs takes it to a whole new level of yummy-ness.Order:Ramen bun dogExcellent it was the perfect amount of crunchy textureJalapeño spicy dogThe sausage it was different it was flavorfulAnd had a little kick but not too spicyIf I could have the ramen Bún with the jalapeño dog and add cheese would be my favorite combo.OptionsAdd sugar - YESAdd ketchup - Yes and some on the sideAdd honey mustard - yesWould I come back? Most definitelyCustomer Service was quick and we didn’t wait long.
I really like this place. I usually get the corn dog with cheese and potatoes. It has a clean environment and is very welcoming.
The Mochi donuts are not the best. Not the chocolate one anyway. it was wayy too sweet. But everything els was great.
Everytime that we go everything is so delicious no matter what we get.
I want everything in the menu!!!!! Soooo over the top amazing! The cone us made fresh, with a pocket of custard (or Nutella), then filled with your choice of soft serve. Bing Su bowl is first coated with cocoa powder, filled with shaved ice cream ice of choice, topped with more cocoa and Oreo chunks with whip!
I really don’t like cheesecake at all but Bing Su’s strawberry cheesecake is absolutely delicious. The first time I had it I thought it was only amazing cause I was really hungry so I went back a second time and it was even better than the first time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Ice cream or sweets.
My gf liked it and she really doesnt like sweets, if is good for her is good for me! 👍🏼👍🏼
The mochi- nut is awesome. So much better here than the one on Bellaire Blvd. never disappointed.
We ate dinner in the area but stopped by for their famous bing su, we enjoyed the giant red bean and almonds and the fresh mangoes. OmG, it topped off our night because it was extradelicous !! The wait was long but so well worth it, yet we were already full to begin with. Will be back for many more!!! 👌
The corndogs and bingsu are so good. Especially if you are craving something cold that is not too sweet.
The food is delicious and very unique!! Definitely worth giving it a try!
Tasty donuts also They have shaved ice but it’s Asian style not like Mexican or Hawaiian Shaved ice. Good but different.
Absolutely loved it. Fresh fruit in the Bing Su. I had the Taro ice cream in the Taiyaki with custard filling. The cone was crispier than I would have liked but still yummy. Atmosphere was very relaxing, clean and trendy. Employees were very friendly and fast! Definitely worth the hour drive from home, after having lunch at Hmart
Since my first stop here I come by every time I shop at the Hmart in this mall. The mochinuts (donuts made from mochi dough) are an excellent break from the normal doughnut. I especially like the way they rotate flavors in and out. The churro and original flavors are staples, but they always add something extra to the original, which keeps it from becoming routine. Thus far Ive had the following flavors: Green Tea (made with matcha), Tropical Fruit, Cookies n Creme, Original w/ Cocoa Krispies, Chocolate, and ChurroToday 3 of my daughters and I tried the mochidog (yes, hot dogs on a stick dipped in mochi) and they were even more awesome that the mochinuts. I had a mochidog coated with chunks of sweet potato. My daughters had the mochidogs stuffed with cheddar cheese and the one that was half mozzarella half weiner. They sprinkle them with sugar after frying if you want it, and it is worth getting. They have a variety of dipping sauces for your mochidog as well. They also have shaved ice made from milk, which Ive yet to try. I think that will be my next outing. If you like mochi ice cream then give the mochinut, or the mochidoh at Bing Su a try.
Mochi donuts are awesome and the mozzarella hot dog is good without sugar on top.
Excellent . Loved the sweet read bean. So good
This is place does not have a single bad thing on their menu! My only complaint is that Ive tried all of the sauces (which are free) but only one stands out. Doesnt matter too much because their corn dogs are great on their own anyway but I wish they would experiment with some different options. Dont be afraid to try the taiyaki because of the red bean paste either, its pure bliss! Quickly became my favorite dessert place, just wish they had locations in north houston or the humble area :(
I have tried their original and raymon dog. Loved the texture, crispyness and the fact that they used a hot dog( Ive been to ones that the inside dog is made with fish) but I want given much sugar and the dough they used was in my opinion 3 stars. Ive had other places but nothing compares to the place I go to in San Antonio theyre like 10 stars. Also they need a rice dog where white rice is coated on the outside of the dog and fried.
(Update)This is my top 2 spot in Katy, but since the pandemic its been my only go-to. So, I racked up some reward points and when we try to redeem it, they said that they couldnt give us the reward the screen claims I have, even after I showed them from their sign-in system 🤯🤪- - - -If you want variety of 빙수/bingsu in Houston, this is it. Yeah, thats right. Not just Katy, Houston. We shared a small and we barely finished it, so good!
LOVE this place! The Bing Su is a slightly healthier dessert alternative. Ive enjoyed everything Ive ever tried from these guys. If youre feeling adventurous, you wont regret getting the mozzarella hot dog. Make sure to ask for the sugar!
SO GOOD. Tried this location and the one in Bellaire, both are amazing with great customer service and super clean
I was so sad to go in today and see that they got rid of their soft serve!!! Their taro root ice cream in a fish waffle cone was so delicious! We had to go next door for ice cream and they didn’t have taro root. What a major bummer!
Love the place and the way the donut was made. However, it was kind of too sweet..
Nice selection of treats both hot and cold!
We ordered the strawberry shaved iceThis was the best i have ever hadIce was like power and the strawberry were very freshYou will enjoy this place, great for kids of all ages
We ordered ice cream and omg! We enjoyed it the service was ok. But a clean place.
Got rid of soft serve and I never even got to try the taro because they were ALWAYS OUT. I went 6 times and THEY WERE ALWAYS OUT.
•Strawberry and mango Bing Su: 5 out of 5. my kids love this, and so do I. Any dessert with mango and strawberry is almost always a winner. The Bing Su ice is quite unique, and it is different than the ribbon ice at some of the Taiwanese or Chinese dessert places. The texture is like finally shaven frozen sweet milk, but the texture resembles fluffy powder snow like you ski on. Quite a delightful experience as it melts in your mouth. It’s so good I even like eating it by itself once the fruit is gone, and even better if you still have some condensed milk remaining. Definitely big enough to share with 2 to 3 people.•I ordered Taro ice cream with custard filling (Nutella is the other option for filling) in the Taiyaki and paid extra $0.50 for the macaroon (I ordered pistachio)—overall 3 out of 5. I think the Pocky stick they stuck in it might have been cookies and cream flavored (you dont get to choose)? I ordered coconut flakes as my free topping. The ice cream was pretty good: smooth and soft and good flavor--4 out of 5. The macaroon was not very good because the outer cookie part was not crispy at all, so 2 out of 5 for the macaroon. I thought that was quite a bargain to get a macaroon for $.50, but in the end that’s not worth the extra calories for a subpar macaroon. The custard filling was OK, but because they put it inside of the taiyaki, you can’t even get to it until you’ve already eaten all the ice cream, but then all you’re eating is a custard filled taiyaki pastry. It would be better if you could eat it all together. It’s also very messy to eat. That ice cream starts to melt and dribble down the sides. The taiyaki (fish shaped pastry) is somewhat soft, similar to a waffle, crispier on the outside, soft on the inside. The guy who took my order described it as “crispy,” but it’s not crispy nor firm enough to serve as a cone for ice cream. This makes it somewhat squishy, which adds to the mess. I had to wash my hands with soap and water afterwards. I probably will not plan to order this anytime soon, unless I’m in a really good mood to give it another try.•Seating: I like the big counter height table near the front entrance when I come with a big group. Kind of nice that they have a power strip towards the middle of the seating against the wall, but I guess that’s only helpful if you’re seated directly in front of it. Would be better if they had spaced out the outlets.
Incredibly fluffy mochi donuts - must try their irresistible bounce!
Customers are required to go into the store with a mask. That is how it should be, happy to comply. I go in last week, cook in the kitchen not wearing a mask. I report it,they say ok. Go back today same guy, still no mask. Lost a customer for not caring about safety. Too bad i liked their food..
I got fresh mango bing su. Its not just plain shaved ice with toppings like i initially thought. The shaved ice itself has something in it. I dont know what but its delicious.Ive seen a lot of people lining up in the store buying donuts. Id buy the donut had the portion of my bing su been less giant. Well, next time.
I really wanted to like this place, as I read and heard many good things from people. I have been convincing my husband to take me here for awhile, and it is a long ways from us JUST to get ice cream.Upon entering the store, I had an idea of what I wanted based on the posts from Instagram. I was hoping they had the Vietnamese soft serve since I recently saw the post, however they did not have it. So I went with my second choice, which would have been the matcha and true milk swirl. MORE BAD NEWS!!! The matcha soft serve machine was broken. Seriously, just my luck...Irritated enough I just order the taiyaki true milk soft serve. I’ve had bad experiences with black sesame flavor ice cream, so I wanted to save myself from more disappointment. I was given the option of having a filling, in which I chose custard, and I specifically said Oreo crumbs. The girl even repeated Oreo crumbs. Well I received my order and a whole Oreo cookie was placed on my taiyaki. There was not even any custard in my ice cream... Thank you for making me even more miserable. My husband ordered the Oreo bingsu. We both aren’t fans of shaved ice, which caught me by surprise that he ordered it. I don’t even think he knew what he ordered, however I actually thought that was one of the best shaved ice I have ever tried. It was fluffy and it did not seem like I was eating ice. Though it was disappointing to find out there was not ice cream on it, but whipped cream.Again... we were just more upset having to drive half an hour to this place and it did not meet our expectations. Sad.I hope I get a better experience next time, though I won’t be driving out of my way just for this. I was extremely excited that we were finally getting to try out this place, but left more disappointed than ever.
Went to get some mochi donuts. They were delicious. Got a cheese dog, was disappointed. The hotdog inside the dog was a tiny.
Great dessert ever. Our kids love it. I have tried Bingsu in several countries, included South Korea. The taste of bingsus here match the original taste the most. Fresh fruits always. The place is clean and staffs are friendly. Corn dogs are amazing!
One of the few times Ive ever been disappointed with an order. They could hardly understand me and the fact that dessert portions are so small and cost $5.95 for ice cream with little flavor is so disheartening. Combined with the ice cream melting and dripping after just about 3 minutes is just a no-go for me. Dont recommend. They do have decent savory stuff though.
The mochi donuts are a must!! So addictive.
I loved the shaved ice dishes! Best ice cream in all of katy!!
This Korean shaved ice place is much better than others Ive been to. The shaved ice is actually made with milk rather than water, so the overall taste is much better. They have lots of unique flavors, and they have other ice cream options too. Its an awesome place to try if you want to get a taste of Korean desserts.
The berry flavor was delicious! We split a small and there was more than enough. Very clean and quick service. We cant wait to come back and try them all.
I loved the corn dog and my wife loved the bingsu. Will definitely be back sometime.
If you are looking for some green tea soft serve or taiyaki this is one of the places in Katy to go to! Service was awesome and the atmosphere is great for a bite to eat. My daughter loves it here. We have brought our families out on a number of occasions and they have never disappointed! I would highly recommend you stop by for a visit!
This place has got some of the most unique ever kind of like ice cream but not ice cream desserts healthy fun the kids go crazy friends laugh and think it’s so much fun, try the fish ice cream that made of fish comes in a fish but not a real fish with Tori Delicious also I would say the strawberry cheesecake is top of the block but you need to the three of you to eat it.
I have been waiting to get the corn dogs and got a couple to try. Definitely get mozzarella filling if you’re not sure, I thought the potato one was a lil plain with the hot dog. Adding sugar on it is pretty good as well!
Terrible customer service. Ive never been here before and had questions about the menu. The cashier rolled her eyes because I had a few questions about the menu and was rushing me.
The shaved ice was amazing, I would recommend the mango one. The mozzarella corn dogs, or the one with cheddar cheese is also very good. The boba ice cream was really good too. Have fun!
Best dessert shop in Katy by far. Youll want to try Everything.
Good tea! But very rude staff. They should be hiring people that actually enjoy working.
