TRASH EVERYWHEREThere is no space to put own trash in there. Not even on the sides. They pickup the trash once a week and this happens every week smh. Then wind will blow up the trash and its everywhere. Its too messy and Not worth the money.plus they get mad if i put the trash on the side

Mike is really nice but there is a lady that is very unprofessional when you gets on the phone. She forgets that when you work in the service world the clients are the ones paying her bills. Every time you try to call them the wait time is over 30 minutes when she answers and then places you back on hold.

I am so pleased to have chosen this storage. Mike was so nice when I went in to sign my lease and every time I would call and have to be on a wait, the call back was always before the estimated weight time. They provided me such great service and made my move super smooth. Thank you!!

The gentleman who helped me (Mike) was very pleasant to talk to!He went above and beyond his fundamental duties, and offered me assistance outside the scope of my reason for being there.I asked if he knew (based on our extended conversation) anyone who installs sprinkler systems. He hooked me up with number that will most likely save me money.This is the second time Ive used this facility. I would highly recommend this particular location! I assure you that your experience will be memorable!

The worst rv rental space experience I had ever have. There was an oversized truck in my space for 2 days. After 2 days he parked next to me. Because it was oversized truck, I could not enter my space due to limited space at the back of the parking place. If you have more than 25 feet trailer, this space is not for you. They will just take your money without telling it is not appropriate for 25 feet trailer or bigger. I paid $200 for the space I never used. After arguing, they agreed to pay back $80. When I go to the place to pick up the money, African America lady told me she is the manager and she does not have any info for the refund. There is a guy name Mike the only one know how to handle the issue but could not help as well. Never do business with this people who just focus on your money. After they take out the money it is done. No costumer service.

This storage is very dirty and they don’t maintenance it. it gets very dirty. often nobody cleans up the trash and the trash is always get piled up because they have a small trashcan container and they pick up once or twice a week which is not enough. In the back there is all kind of trash and no one sweep it. it always smells like piss when i get to my storage or RV.

I’ve had my storage with IStorage for over 3yrs. Finally closed it out yesterday. My money was well spent. My items was safe during extreme bad weather, flooding, etc. I was extremely impressed that they waste no time calling me when I changed bank card and forgot to update my payment info with them. They could’ve easily allowed my payments to be declined and charged me all type of late fees, etc. but they did not. They called me right away, and made several attempts when I missed their calls. If you’re looking for a good place to store your items? Store them there, you won’t feel cheated.

Ive used this location twice. The most recent time, 3/18/2020, they really got me out of a jam. I had a reservation at a different Uhaul location but no one ever showed up to open that specific location, but iStorage was open and had the vehicle I needed available. The manager assisted me both times and had excellent customer service. If Im ever in the area again and need a vehicle, I would choose this location over any other Uhaul location.

Terrible service. I get a call the day before I’m due to move my stuff to say the unit I had “reserve” is not available now. I even got an email saying to get ready to move into my storage while the local manager is telling me otherwise. Now I’m scrambling to find another place.

Worked with Mike...very friendly and courteous. The only reason I picked 4 of 5 and not 5 is that the entrance to the facility is tight and there is little to no parking available. There are too many Uhaul trucks lining the entrance and even inside in the aisles/driveways which makes it a bit difficult to navigate. Otherwise, Id recommend iStorage..second time weve used them.

My home flooded during Hurricane Harvey and I needed a storage unit fast. Mike was so helpful and kind and took care of my needs. Each time I went in to pay my bill he asked about my situation and progress. A personal touch is always appreciated. The unit was clean and always accessible. I recently moved into a new unit (largest one they have) and cant say enough good things about this location and its manager! Check-in was fast and simple. Unit was clean and just as advertised. We finished up and dropped off our moving truck after hours on Saturday but accidentally left my cellphone in the truck. The owner came back to office and let me back in the truck to get it after hours. This was very kind and saved my a ton of headache! Ill be doing business here as long as I need storage in the Katy area.

I will only store my items in Katy Texas with iStorage off Gaston. Mike and Miss Jay (Management) are always kind and professional. Thank you for always having great prices on units.

This facility is great. And the manager is great here it took me 15 min and I was in and out with a storage unit in hand. My 2 complaints is that there are giant moving trucks blocking the entrance a lot and it is almost impossible to get in sometimes. And there is no lights in the storage units.

This place has the cheapest rates in Katy. Mike provided excellent customer service and worked hard to cut us a good deal. He did not try to upsell and was incredibly patient. The property is clean and easily accessible.

Rented a truck and it was super fast. Wonderful lady working there. It is very easy getting out niw that the construction has moved to a different phase. Uhaul is so much better and more convenient than penske.

If my review were just for the local staff and facility, it would be 5 stars, no hesitation. My review though also must take into count the corporate side. Harvey hit a lot of people. Some of us have had severe interruptions in income, as well as unplanned expenses. The biggest source of revenue for me is small home repair. People here arent exactly concerned with small home repairs at the moment, as many dont have a house they can live in at the moment. I work a small area. An area that 90% of the residences suffered flood damage. The first 3 weeks have been tearing out and drying out. We are just getting to where we can start rebuilding. Meaning, Im just now starting to have cash flow again, as all the tear out I did was on a volunteer basis. I-storage is one of the few businesses in the area that seemed to have no sympathy for the local situation on the corporate level. All they saw was the chance to sell out to full capacity, with no sympathy for the customers they had before the flooding. Again, local staff and facility is excellent. They don need to concise some drainage changes. One of my units had a stream of water flowing through it during Harvey. The water wasnt able to go around the building fast enough, so it went through.

If you need storage in Katy, this is the place! Mike was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, units are clean and they have great prices!

This is a horrible location with staff yelling to a customer get out get out of my face, Get out, I never have such an experience in life a staff member at counter will behave rude and wild scaring a customer to run away from store .At 4.35 pm I rented a truck signed contract and left facility.I got a text stating your contract expiring in 4 hours and as per contract you will be charged by hour after 9.00 PmThe incident occurred today 6/21/2019 around 5.35 pmWhen I went to get a corrected contract and rented a truck for 24 hours and I left the facilityI called U Hual 800 number they redirected to store and said they have to correct the contractI called the iStorage store and requested to change contract to 24 hours I have been placed on hold for over 5-10 min with no responseI decided to go visit store its very close to my and ask the counter staff to correct she said she corrected but can not give new revised contractAll of a sudden when request to take screen shot on phone she started yelling shouting and I am still requesting to calm downAnyway I suggest everyone never use this facility. Such staff can lead you into trouble and may cause you heart attack if you are a BP patient and it happened to me today.

Overall great experience definitely recommend this storage for anyone.
