Love to find places like this! Everything about the experience was great, with even a bonus of beautiful dishes for our Dine In plates. Both the café and shop had friendly, helpful staff and fresh atmosphere.

I would never thought of a Cafe inside this health store but there it is tucked away. Had my FIRST Elk burger, very tasty though a smidge on the dry side, Id still order it again. The sides are just chips and pickle but the lemonade mixed w the cucumber mint water, super yum and refreshing. Happy eating,, Now Go get your grub on

Omg just had the best lunch!! I was getting tired of fast food so I stumbled upon the Carrot Patch while looking for lunch. I had the vegan burger and it was so good! It tasted just like a real burger! I will be back!

I never knew about this place till today, a friend of mine took me there for lunch today, I had my first smoothie and a great sandwich. I also picked up a few things to help with healing some wounds I have been working on for over 2 years. Being diabetic is rough but I think I am heading in the right direction after one visit to the carrot patch. I DEFINITELY WILL BE A REGULAR CUSTOMER FROM NOW ON!!

This is a first try of this establishment.You order at the counter. Menu against a wall. There are specials of the day.We had some unsweetened green tea, an Elk burger and a Buffalo burger. The bread bun stood out as really good. Food is made to order.You will find the cafe in the health store. The sign is seemingly only on the entrance door of the health store.Give it a try.

This place is delicious and super affordable! The food is extremely fresh! I love the chicken salad wrap the best! They are so knowledgeable with the natural products in their store and that is super helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Very good chicken salad and egg salad sandwich. Healthy place to eat. My daughter has lived in the area for about 3 years but she had never been. She says she enjoyed her salad and fresh lemonade and she will go back!

ELK burger!! It was superb, tasted like steak and not gamey, good texture. Cucumber water was flavorful and refreshing on a hot day. Wish I found this place sooner. Its inside the healthfood store. Friendly service with a smile and very clean. Ill be back to try their smoothies other customers raved about.

I love eating lunch here! In Kerrville its the best place for healthy lunch choices. Every soup or sandwhich has been delicious and served by friendly conscious staff. I appreciate being able to shop freely without the concern of wearing a mask and enjoying the return to chatting with all the friendly faces!

Did your mother always tell you carrots are good for your eyes? The myth is true and same goes for the Carrot Path. This is not only good for your eyes but for your health and wellness. A must see and please eat here if your wanting to be and feel at your best. This small family run business needs us and let’s continue to do our part so these mainstream companies don’t monopolize us. This place is way better anyway. This is one of my favorite places of all times to eat and shop. The food is delicious, and so healthy! We always leave feeling refreshed, and we dont crash after eating this food.Our favorite items are the buffalo wrap, the chicken bacon ranch wrap, and the vegetarian wraps. Really we havent tried anything we didnt like.And we love the staff--they set a really personal and warm atmosphere. Very grateful for this place!

What a great find this was for three out of town visitors to Kerrville! If we lived here we’d be “regulars”. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly...and very patient as spent a good while mulling over the menu...so many options that all sound delicious. We each had a different lunch item, smoothie, and lemonade, and we weren’t disappointed. If you’re looking for a good lunch this is the place to go. Kudos!

Delicious food nice people

Fresh, delicious food items from a list on the big whiteboard. Very friendly folks with good culinary skills make this little side trip off I-10 well worth the trouble. Mostly cold items, but a few hot sandwiches, too. My wife requires gluten free due to allergies and was accommodated well. She was quite happy with me for insisting we try it. Very modest prices, too. We will be back.

Best bison burger I’ve ever had!

Good food at the cafe restaurant pretty wide selection all organic whole foods as well. The store is fantastic just about anything you could think of from herbal supplements to whole foods. Scott was always helpful and great to talk too a charming spirit. Overall great place. Highly recommend.

We couldnt wait to be served, as we waited the short time for our freshly made lunch to arrive, the aroma of the food preparation smelled so good! We had the southwestern wrap, Kerr-patch vegetable pattie burger and tuna wrap, all of them great and priced well! Highly recommend them!

The food was fresh, quick, and delicious. The staff was amazing, courteous, and friendly. Definitely wish this place was closer to where I live, but a great find for when I visit my friend.

Staff is friendly, has a super cozy cafe atmosphere. Its relatively easy to make a vegan meal actually of substance by making a few simple substitutions (watch out for ranch), and staff are usually very accommodating. Great prices for a health food store.

Sooo I ordered a wrap to go, I can’t even remember which one but I ended up getting something different. I ordered one with chicken and when I went to eat it I realized it was beef. I’m easy to please and I didn’t really mind. I’m still giving 5 stars cuz the service was friendly and pretty quick and the wrap was friggin delicious! I didn’t even care what it was, just that it tasted good! 👍🏼

The first time I went there, which was years ago, the check out person looked at me like I was a criminal. (Who goes into a vitamin/health food store with like crime on their mind). I was completely turned off. Since the first time Ive been in there perhaps 3 more times. The 2nd to the last time I was in, my mom and I agreed we would try lunch. Our lunch took a lonnnnnnggggg time to come and when I finally went up to ask about something on my order, the young man asked me if I could not see that they were busy. Needless to say we had been waiting while others who came in after us got their food. The only time I will ever go back is if Next Generation, which is down the road, doesnt have what I want and I cant get to San Antonio. On the whole, Ive visited this place on a few occasions since 2005, I still dont care for it.

Oh my gosh! This is the best healthy option in Kerrville! I LOVE the lunch options and the smoothies!!! Everything is so fresh!! The staff are pretty amazing as well!!! Any questions you may have about the menu are quickly answered with fervor! Give it a try and you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Went in for lunch with high expectations due to great reviews. First time ever dining here. Young man behind the counter was very nice and polite but no one else was. He had mistakingly told me they where having the chicken tortilla soup for lunch but later informed me that he made a mistake and it was actually chicken gumbo. I stated gumbo would be fine. Later heard the younger girl asking him and stating. Its the gumbo you need to charge her more. Did you charge her the extra amount for the gumbo? After getting the gumbo it was flavorless, just bland. I would never order it again! The chicken salad panini was very tasty though. The older lady who works hear scowled at me several times and never cracked a smile. She seemed irritated. Dont plan on returning. No one was friendly with the exception of the young man taking orders and running the register. Better communication of daily specials and soups would be a good idea so everyone is on the same page when opening for lunch.

Fast, friendly, fresh and delish. Had the cobb salad with the balsamic dressing (which was put in a tiny, covered mason jar) so cudos on presentation too! Cant miss at this place.

Good wraps

My wife discovered this café and raved about the food. So I had her take me to see for myself. She is right. The spinach salad is wonderful and I love the chicken salad panini. The low prices for everything and friendly service are just added bonuses.Unless you are a meat and potatoes only person, you will like it. We try to go there once a week.

Open 11-3 delicious spinach salad if add chicken salad. Need to add sweetener to smoothie. This was a great find as I drive through Kerrville.

First and last visit this week. Treated my sister, and was overcharged $10 (which we caught); served small buffalo burgers with dry, thin tasteless patties; sister asked for a tomato on hers & was told it didnt come with it. Menu didnt specify a side, so we bought two bags of chips. When meal came with chips, we asked to return the unopened bags & were told no. Had to specifically ask for the tea that we had purchased. Just about every sad/bad thing that can happen at lunch. Adios forever.

Very conscious of people with actual gluten allergies, delicious food and a great selection. We were heading home to Houston from a week in Arizona and this place was worth the detour off I-10.

I was not really impress with the service when i tried to purchase a fat burner which i really wanted and the guy told me that they something else which i told him i didnt mind the price and i really wanted that product. The gentleman kept trying to sell me something which i told i wasnt interested in the other products. Needless to say I left the shop the upset and not with my product. Not going back
