I went into the store on 9/4/20 to take advantage of the promotion to get $1000 off a Samsung Note 20 Ultra by trading in my Note 8. I thought the sales person was fantastic at the time (wont put his name here for now), however, they never put the promotion on my account. I waited the 3 full billing cycles before contacting AT&T (per offer terms), and AT&T has no record of my trade in, ergo, is not giving me the $1000 credit. So I am not getting the credit, and my old phone (which was paid off) is missing. AT&T chat support set up a case for me, which they claim will be resolved by 1/13. If I do not get my credit, I will be filing an FCC complaint, as well as a police report for theft.EDIT: Per the response, I attempted to call last week. The employee who answered said Shes not here. I dont know where she is. Then took my number and I have not received a callback.Edit 2: after some back and forth with the corporate office, the issue has been resolved. Ive revised my rating due to this.
Today I visited the Att Store in LaPlata Md for the second time in the last month. Carl Stanley helped me again today, Yay!!!!! My first visit was to reload all my deleted photos that were deleted by mistake by me, duh! Carl reloaded all of them in a matter of minutes. YAY!!!! Today, June 7, 2021, was just a minor adjustment that required yet again Carls expertise. My reason for writing is to request recognition for his being such a great asset to Att. I recommend a supervisory position or at least a sizable monetary reward for a JOB WELL DONE. We were at the store for 4 hours trying to get a new phone. the manager who was the only person in the store had 3 people in front of me and still took the time to help. wonderful staff.
Saturday (yesterday) i took my boyfriend to get him a new phone and to add him to my plan. When we walked in we were taken care of asap. The man who helped us was very helpful and made the process as easy as possible.
Took a while to get seen but once I finally got seen my upgrade purchase was completed really fast.
I was in the store today to solve a problem with my prepay account. Mikhail was wonderful and patient. He spent almost 40 minutes on hold but solved the problem. I truly appreciated his excellent customer service!
Pre ordered the new iPhone on the first day of pre orders. No receipt. No order number. They said to wait. I waited. And called every day. One week later (on launch day) I called customer care and found out there never was an order! So I ordered the phone again but this time for real. Estimated delivery: one month from now.The current employees (October 2020) are disorganized and haven’t a clue. Go to another store or call customer care.

Mikhail was the best!!!! He was very attentive, professional, and a absolute pleasure to work with. He also went above and beyond to ensure my daughters photos and videos were transferred over to her new device from a out dated device. If I could rate this location zero stars I certainly would. I’ve visited multiple times during the hours displayed and on numerous times it has been closed. The customer service isn’t ideal and it seems there is never no one to answer the phone. The best location I’ve experienced has been at the mall(St.Charles).... go to the mall if you actually want great service.
Keonna at this location was SO NICE. I went in yesterday to ask a few questions and she was professional yet personable at the same time. Loved her customer service!
Please avoid this store. I got my last cellphone from AT&T shop in Waldorf, where the service was fast and the sales reps are very friendly. The sales rep didn’t acknowledged me when I entered the store. He was talking loudly on the phone and took almost a half hour before he helped me. Then he was rushing because he said it was closing time. Worst service ever. I’m filing a complaint with AT&T. Please, please avoid this retailer.
Had a terrible experience. I knew exactly what I wanted going into the store. Every single time I didn’t want what they wanted me to buy they bullied me. Didn’t want direct tv... bully... didn’t want larger memory on my phone... bully... didn’t want a new plan... bully... the list goes on. They were super incompetent and rude. They asked me if wanted insurance so I asked how much. They told me “only a couple dollars.” I asked again but for the exact amount and was told the same thing again. Then I asked what does it cover. They said “pretty much everything.” So I asked a lady who was also working. She said as condescending as could be. “Do you want it or not?!” Theirs a difference between up selling and harassment. I ended up walking out that’s how terrible the experience was. They need to be taught better sales tactics than pressuring and trying to make customers feel stupid. They also need to be trained on what their products actually are.
I prefer this location over the Corporate store in Waldorf. Never have to wait and always get great service.

I am completely disgusted with the service at this location.I sent my brother and mom into this location because I bought my phone here before. He had already spoken with customer care and they told us his phone needed a new SIM card. He gets to the store where a guy charges him $30 for a SIM card. He then offers my brother to give him the card for free if he signs up for direct tv ONE TIME.My mother being the sweet person she is paid for everything with her card.When they told me what happened. I was furious as I’ve never known a SIM card to be worth so much. I stopped by the nearest AT&T location and inquired and to my surprise it’s ONLY $6!!!!!!I called corporate who told me the same thing !What type of sales person are you if you have to lie to customers to sell you’re products. My mother signed up for the dtv just to realize it would be a monthly reoccurring charge. Meaning that this SIM card is worth $60 instead of $6.Apparently this location is. 3rd party dealerThey’re not real AT&T!Please be careful shopping here and at the stores In Baltimore !They are con artist and dishonest

Horrible customer service. I purchased a screen protector for my work phone (50$) it cracked again within 7 days, I notified them. They absolutely refused to give me a new one, instead I have to go through the warranty place and pay more, (for shipping. Its the S8, the manager said it cracked because the screen is not flat. So why bother with a screen protector at all if its going to keep cracking??????????Im leaving AT&T, and going back to Verizon. Done with stupid.
They were of little to no help with our phone issues. While we were there people came in with questions and the employees would have a discussion about the answer. One was as simple as do you offer internet? Dont bother going here for help.
Went by there today, it was closed sign said back in 30 mins.. Very inconvenient for customers. How can you operate a business like that!!
