The Read Queen is a quaint, yet abundantly full and vibrant bookstore! The staff is very sweet and courteous and there is a lot to choose from! They also have some beautiful little cards and gift ideas! (Not to mention the spicy honey chai latte is to die for!) I will be visiting often!

Super cute little shop with books and a cafe. The childrens section was well taken care of and the variety of candles and crafts were a nice touch. I enjoyed sitting outside on the porch sipping coffee while my son read and I worked on my laptop. There is also seating inside and a few snack treats to choose from. We will be going back soon!

Very fun bookstore! Definitely has that independent vibe, combined with a coffee shop in store as well, to serve as a nice gathering place for good conversation or some solitude to read some fine words by yourself. Surprisingly large and diverse collection given the size and location of the store. A gem in Lafayette!

Wonderful independent books store that also carries puzzles, a few games and gifts, and fantastic coffee. I go in here just for the smell! They also have a cool book buy back program that gives you store credit. Theres an area outside you can sit and enjoy your new book with a latte and pastry. Long live Read Queen!

This is such a fun place! Looking at the curated selection of books while sipping on above average coffee is truly living the good life. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and friendly. Check them out!

Recently discovered the Read Queen and Im in love. The place is so cozy and has amazing coffee. They have books, puzzles, and the cutest greeting cards. With some seating inside and outside, I cant wait to come here to read and get some work done!

What a beautiful store and coffee shop. Not only can you get any book you want, but the store itself is filled with fun, interesting, and beautiful toys, trinkets and gifts. The coffee, Italian soda (lavender is the bomb) and snacks are all quality and delicious. The owners are passionate about their store and serving the local community. Not to miss when youre in Lafayette.

This is a magical place with lots of books. The childrens section was well stocked. My friend and I loved looking at all the titles. Hope to visit again soon.

So glad an independent bookstore is back in town! Great place to pick up a book (or five), grab a tea or coffee (or my favorite— a lavender italian soda), and sit out on the patio when the sun is out. Staff are friendly and very helpful— if you’re looking for a title that’s out of stock in the store, they can even place a special order for you! All in all, a great addition to Lafayette/East Boulder County— especially in a pandemic. 📚🧩☕️

I just visited The Read Queen and was so impressed! It’s a beautiful and very comfortable bookstore and cafe with plenty of room. Best of all, I loved their diverse collection of new and used books for all readers. I found poetry by Mary Oliver, a historical novel about the Alamo, some fiction by Anne Lamott, as well as a wide variety of commercial and literary works. I will return...What a joy to find a bookstore like this in our area! And a great place to have a socially distant cup of coffee with a friend!

Hello. We work in the complex and come in for coffee when we haven’t had enough in the morning. We also bought a couple of books. I never knew the weather affected the way the coffee comes out but that’s what the nice barista told us!

A staff member encouraged me to come in when I was passing by admiring the bookstores name/sign. Inside it is the type of bookstore that is welcoming and charming. I ended up buying a book and a spicy chai latte. Love the book and I wish I could have the chai latte everyday because I rarely find a place that makes it anywhere near as good.

Yea! A local bookstore right in the heart of Old Town Lafayette near the WOW museum. Stopped by with my three year and she loved the kids section. Also had a great coffee bar. Can’t wait to come by again!
