So I had to buy a new car and thought about where I should go. I immediately went to our Lafayette Womens Chamber of Commerce Member Directory on our website and found our one and only Founding Corporate Member who has a dealership, Christa Billeaud with Acadiana Dodge. So of course I went there first driving every car on the lot. As we went inside I sat in one on the showroom floor and decided this was the one. I bought the only Red with White Interior Mazda CX30 Mini SUV right off the showroom floor with only 51 miles on it! I cant tell you what a wonderful experience it was to buy from Acadiana Mazda not only because they are a Founding Corporate Member, but because I have known Christa Billeaud for many years. Her team was so nice and patient as I said again and again, what about that one, can I drive that one? Of course, Gabriel was very patient and said Yes Miss Debbey of course you can drive any car you want. 6 hours later I drove off the lot having the best day of shopping for a car, the paperwork and finance department made it so easy and the interest rates are amazing! I thought Id show you a few pics of my new baby whose name is Betty and Christa giving me the keys to my new car! I would give this dealer a negative star if it was an option.I went to the dealer looking for a new car. Sales rep Fidel Anoka came out to help us. He asked what we were looking to buy. I told him we wanted a suv that sits 5 or more people comfortably and I want my note no more then $600 a month and not a penny more. He showed us a CX9 for $39,000 with 5,000 miles which I normally don’t buy a new vehicle with that much mileage. It was a nice vehicle but when it came to the paperwork the monthly note was much higher then we discussed. Our credit was approved and he said congratulations like as though he was gonna get the deal. However, It was as though he did not listen to any of our request or concerns. We told him from the beginning we were not paying more then $600 a month. If I was going to pay that amount I would have gotten the first vehicle I looked at at the other dealer for a new car with 8 miles on it with more features. However what put the icing on the cake so to speak was when he left us to pretend to go make another deal. When he went to the used car lot and brought back and even older vehicle (2018) with even more miles. This was very insulting to me as a medical professional with an excellent paying job, excellent credit, and money to put down. I will never step foot on this dealership again even if they gave me a car. I will take my business elsewhere and will definitely share my experience with others.

Just bought a car here and the sales staff was absolutely fabulous. There was no pressure and the sales man remembered my seat adjustment from the 1st car and had the next to ready for me perfectly set with the engine on and the steering wheel warm as well as the seat. They were fair and gave me an excellent price for my trade in. I had my trade-in serviced here and was also extremely satisfied. The facility is clean and everyone is masked and social distanced.

Took my CX-5 here for routine maintenance after scheduling an appointment the day before on short notice. I got to the service appointment early and they took my vehicle in immediately. Shortly thereafter I received a text message with a linked video of their performed inspection. It informed me that all looked good but that the cabin air filter had seen its better days. I texted back requesting that they replace the filter and they responded confirming the filter change. My vehicle was finished and ready for pick up in no time. The price was significantly lower than other dealerships I had used in the past for the same services on the same vehicle. Additionally, the friendliness and accommodating nature of the staff was top notch. Although I dont live in Lafayette, I will henceforth make every attempt to schedule future routine maintenance on my vehicle during times where I am in Lafayette so that I can deal with Acadiana Mazda. Overall, great dealership and exceptional customer service.

The place to buy in Lafayette! From the start of the sales experience, when sending an inquiry regarding an internet listing, everyone was promptly responsive and helpful. My dealings started with Melissa who guided through the front end of the sales process, then over to Joey and team for Financing and follow on actions. Despite having financing coordinated, Joey dug in and found a better deal for me, showing a passion for excellence and customer satisfaction. My tags and registration was more complex than normal, as I split residence between LA and FL, but the Acadiana team coordinated well with FL to assure registration complete and tags issued. A couple of months after the sale, I discovered information that the salesperson I worked with did not properly disclose. I called this to Managements attention, they turned it into a training moment for the sales team, confirmed that the salesperson I had worked with was no longer affiliated with Acadiana and, more importantly, did the right thing in correcting a relatively minor issue. Over the years, Ive bought many cars from many dealers, I would rate Acadiana as top-tier in their operations and committed to honesty, integrity and excellence. My car wouldn’t start so I had to have it towed to Acadiana Mazda. It was late in the day and I wasn’t sure if they would be able to check out the problem or not. Although they weren’t able to repair it then, Perry was very friendly and patient through the ordeal and even gave me a loaner car so I wouldn’t be stranded. Everyone I’ve come in contact with there have been both friendly and knowledgeable.

Update on this dealership- just received a bill in the mail from a towing company for storage of a vehicle that I dont own anymore. The vehicle that was towed was part of a trade deal to Acadiana Mazda, which I had issues with as explained in the paragraph below. Apparently my name is still on this vehicle that was part of the trade and Im liable for said vehicle. It should have been taken care of by the dealership ensuring that I would not be associated with the vehicle after the trade but that never happened. This whole deal took place A YEAR AGO. Do NOT make deals with this dealership unless you want problems in the future.Rude! I called to pick up paperwork on a vehicle purchased through the dealership that we never received a copy of, and was made to wait while the employees stood around eating lunch. I was also asked what I wanted with the paperwork when asked what name it was under. The wait for the paperwork was excessive simply due to the fact that I called two hours prior to make sure it would be ready. Aside from the paperwork not being ready, there were documents missing that were signed. Buyer take caution when considering a purchase from this dealership.

CX5 is a great vehicle. Great value. Put 600 miles on first trip and averaged over 32 mpg. Great lease deals at Acadiana Mazda. Elliott did a great job. Very pleased with my purchasing experience.

Acadiana Mazda has an amazing crew. My check engine light came on 2 days before we were leaving for our vacation. The Mazda crew had the parts in the very next morning. The team stayed hours late to ensure we had our vehical ready to go for our trip the next morning. We are very thankful for them!

In general experience was okay.before I went to,I had my own research on the car that I want and I know exactly how much want to spend on, my fico number etc. Didnt want to spend all day at dealer shop therefore Ive got all the information I needed.still end up spending all my afternoon- to be exact, was 6 hours total by the time I left it was 630 pm, drive over one hour to return home to lake Charles, its 8 pm. Selesperson Ken was very nice, as he told me hes new at job which he wasnt aggressive as most Seles people I know. I do have to give him a credit for being patient with whole process of closing the sale. Im sure he had long day too.All in all, everybody at shop was friendly and I feel easy . Best of all, I love the my New Mazda CX-5 ! I know I made a right choice ! Changed something that doesnt need to be changed. Had to pay almost a grand for the blunder that they made. How did I know? My mechanic confronted the technician and he stuttered whenever he explained. Employees got very fierce and I decided to pay anyway since they will not do anything. I was there by myself and was surrounded by 4 guys working at the service department. Almost felt like I was surrounded by mafias. I dont need to be humiliated because my car was faulty and being treated as if Im paying protection moneyHowever, if you have money, you are king.After I paid for the money they demand, it was all smiles again.Please do not change parts that doesnt need to be changed. You will meet God one day. Just my $0.02.Ill admit that its my mistake buying Mazda and even worse mistake to take the car to Mazdas service center.Poor choice.Update: They checked the car thoroughly and felt needed to replace the fuel pump. After replacing the fuel pump, OOPPPSS!!!!, turns out the cylinder coils were fried as was the PCM. So, I consulted my mechanic. He said the fuel pump was never in bad condition. If they really checked the car thoroughly, first thing they wouldve done is replace the cylinder coils and the PCM!!! (Anyone reading this and have common sense, will understand what Im talking about - they have done thorough check)But mafia being mafia, wouldnt admit their mistakes and raised their voice when I politely asked them.Again, if you have the money to burn, come to this place even for your maintenance.
