I typically have a good experience here for service. Recently my daughter took her car in for another recall issue and to have battery fixed. She chose to wait at the center. She texted me that it was taking longer than she expected so went and asked about her car only to find it had been done for about 20 minutes. Other than that, the waiting area is comfortable and service reliable.

Not good this time. One of your employees in service could use a class in customer service. I understand fully that you seem to be having problems with mechanics this day, but he could have apologized to all the customers, explained, did something instead of looking at the frustrated customers like we should be thankful we were being waiting on. My second vehicle with you and I have always left and called with wonderful reviews. This was the used car service and one of the service writers was very kind.. there were two.

Waited over 1 month to get service finished, but was no fault of the shop. Had to wait on part. Car was repaired, and is running good.

We were very hesitant driving to Lafayette from Baton Rouge just to look at a jeep but we are so glad we decided to take that drive. Trevin was our salesperson and I cant say enough good things about him. Waited a week for a car was told the car needed a radiator arm, but I was approved not pre-approved, APPROVED I asked the sales guy Chad Deshotel several times through our daily conversations if he needed anything from to make the approval go smoothly and he continued to reassure me that I was approved fast fwd to the day I’m supposed to pick the car up I contact him and he then tells me that they’re trying to find me financing 👀 every day we spoke he made it clear that the finance manager found a bank so why are you waiting not only the day of me picking up the car, but a week later ??? He had all of my information check stubs, bank statements etc… even the amount I had down for the car ??? This is bad business and I’m completely turned off by Sterling Kia bc this could’ve literally been figured a week ago instead of having me wait!!! Oh and while I’m writing this I’m sitting across the street where Giles Nissan found financing and I’m soon pulling off in my new 2021 maxima vs 2017 Hyundai Elantra that I couldn’t get financed for 🥴 if you’re reading this go to Nissan they will get you financed for a new car

Went into dealership to order a K5 for my daughter. Salesman (Trevin) was not the least bit interested in helping us order exactly what she wanted. He was only focused on selling us something that was higher optioned and priced that they had already ordered. I was actually considering it but my daughter refused and wanted exactly what she set her mind on to get. So after I told him we werent interested in the two cars he was pushing and that I wanted to order exactly what she wanted he made us wait so he could speak to his manager. Once he returned he informed us that we couldnt order a car that day and that he would call me the following day to order the car. To this day that call was never made. I ended up driving out of town to a different kia dealership and was met with the best customer service and received exactly the car she wanted. Such a shame that I had every intention on doing business with them but their salesmans unprofessionalism not only lost a sale on one car but actually two as I am also ordering a Telluride for my wife through the other dealership. Their loss not mine. Thanks to Trevin for the wonderful experience Sterling Kia has to offer!!
