I would have given 5 stars but they gave me a caffinated latte when I specifically asked for decaf. Im a nursing mom right now; by giving me the wrong stuff you ruined probably two days due to no sleep and an overtired baby. Please, if youre not sure its not decaf, just redo it.

I had a Cafe au lait. It was delicious. The foam on top was excellent. I wanted a bakery item but everything was super big. Regular size would be nice. The atmosphere was OK. They are out of my way, but Id go back just for the coffee.

First time in Johnston Street Java and I was very impressed! Not sure of what I wanted, the young man was helpful in giving me some options, loved my tasty Carmel, chocolate chip Frappuccino!

Warm and welcoming place with comfy seats and where you can work on your computer without being hurried to leave. Great place to meet with friends or just to have a coffee, which is also very tasty. Only downside is there are no savory treats without meat or cheese.

The prices are actually very reasonable and the coffee and variety are wonderful. combine that with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff and you have what a coffee shop should be. Make sure to look at all the unique flavors like praline and cane syrup.

Awesome coffee and tea selection. Not as pricey as CCs or Starbucks. They have big tables inside, good for studying. Just wish their hours were extended a little later like 9 or 10. Besides that, super cozy place to chill, study, or be in & out.

Always good coffee and ample seating inside and outside. Generally a quieter option to other big name places, and they have a drive thru if youre in a hurry.

Nice little place. Great coffee (Orleans Coffee Exchange). Tastes MUCH better than the CCs junk and honestly even a little better than Starbucks. My ONLY complaint about the place is that folks seem to be more comfortable talking at a higher level compared to most other coffee joints...which if youre writing, studying, reading, or doing any other typical coffeehouse activity can be a bit annoying. Not the fault of the establishment though, folks need to learn that cafes are not taverns and that if they want to have a really loud conversation between five people they need to move it to one of the tables outside please.

I had passed this place so many times and never went. Boy was I missing out! I had the Irish creme frozen coffee and my husband had the toasted snapping turtle frozen coffee. We couldnt stop tasting each others coffee! Thankfully we had to find something to do while waiting for a call from the repair shop! I definitely recommend this place. Great place to meet up with people and/or study. Free WiFi, good drinks/coffee, sandwiches (get them to get it up). Only complaint is that the place is colder than my exs heart. Played integral role in getting all As last semester.

The cafe au lait is delicious, as has been everything Ive tried there. I wish there was a bit more variety in the menu though; Id like to see some cold brew coffee maybe. 5/5 flavor though. Definitely my favorite in town on taste alone, just not the most varied.

The staff is always attentive and courteous. Im not much of an espresso drinker, but their quality of product is on par with CCs or Starbucks for cold brew coffee. Their food is a bit better than CCs I find, but I cant really compare to Starbucks as I lack the experience.

One of the better coffee shops in Lafayette, the staff is friendly and quick, and prepares a good cup of espresso (I dont care for the drip coffee here). The coffee is from the New Orleans Coffee Roasters, and this is a nice shop to meet folks for some coffee and hang out for a while.However, the preparation is incredibly variable depending on who is working, and the places that its better than (ie, most of town) provide such a low bar for comparison, that while its good, its not from great. Definitely drop by here than run by a CCs or something, though.

The food is okay. The coffee is okay except they switched the whipcream and now that part is terrible. They often close early without informing customers beforehand which is really anoying. They dont do or try to be anything special. Just a plain coffee shop with average everything. Though the workers are generally really nice and so are the patrons overall.

Had went once before a few months ago, and the place was a little over packed, but overall okay. The girl was a bit rude when I asked for honey, to sweeten my tea, as I normally do honey and milk for black teas. Went today, and the person behind the counter did not even say anything, and seemed more annoyed that I walked in. Kind of makes me not want to come back. Also, not enough types of tea. Why does no place have more than Earl grey, green tea, and basically thats all?! There are more out there! This basically goes to all local coffeee/ tea places. Will not be going back.
