Always a good experience here. They have pretty standard frozen custard and toppings, juicy burgers, and very flavourful fried food. The sandwiches are very good. Id recommend trying a marshmallow coke from here.

Every time my family chooses to eat here I always dread it. The taco salad is always wrong and different every time. I ask for extra meat and there’s barely a scoop. Only a remnant of a tomato. Not sure how this is a taco salad. $26 for 1 sandwich, 1 drink, 1 fry and 1 taco salad....huh???

I know it is covid but why cant you walk up to the windows outside to order? The drive thru was so long we didnt end up waiting. We pulled out after 10 minutes.3 stars bc I know their capable and assuming it was due to under staffing

I absolutely love the vanilla cokes from here. A jumbo vanilla coke goes perfect with my lunch or anytime. If you havent tried one here I would definitely recommend you do. The ice cream snacks are all amazing also. The food is just standard diner type stuff.

Mom and pop that everyone is obsessed with in the area. Im not saying they are delightful or worth the wait. They have the best Hoosier-ade (Massive styrofoam cup filled with some sort of beverage (usually pop or soda)). Its a thing.

Food was good. The fruit drink is awesome and the big cookie sandwich is the best. Call ahead, with funny weather and Covid on the grill is a little unpredictable if you want a burger. But hey, you came for the custard anyway!

Heard this is the best frozen yogurt place in town so of course we had to stop by and check it out. I ordered their classic vanilla custard, my husband ordered the peanut butter fudge sundae, and brother in law got the Oreo custard. Everything was very delicious, but man was it sweet, rich, and creamy. I am so glad I ordered a small because it was a bit too rich for me. Everyone really enjoyed what they got and I wouldnt mind coming back, but Im sticking with small sized orders.

Not worth the money. We spent $55 for 4 people and food was not good. Mozzarella sticks and fried pickles were empty inside. Icecream was average. The only good things were the cheese curds and they have “the good ice”.

Im not sure I even need to say anything about Igloo to convince people they should try it out as it is already a staple of Lafayette. If you live in Lafayette and you havent gone to Igloo I would be shocked.I really enjoy the Blue Moon frozen custard, but the biggest reason to come here is the drinks. I dont know what they do to the soda machine, but whatever they are doing works. They have many flavors you can add to your Coca-Cola brand sodas. My top 3 flavors are: Vanilla, Boysenberry, and Tigers blood.If you are a student at Purdue, or anyone who just moved to Lafayette then come to Igloo. If you live here already then you already know how great it is.

Honestly I have been going to this particular igloo since I was little and even though the staff is short and time is a bit slow the food is good by my standards and would reccomend this place to anyone looking for a diverse soda/ice cream/food except breakfast for anybody looking for a quick sweet/tasty - snack/meal to put into their meal plan.

Ice cream has ice crystal in it doesnt have that good creamy custard flavor.

We live within walking distance, which is a great luxury with kids. Of course the ice cream is very good, but the food is surprisingly great, too.

Staff that waited on us was not friendly. Seemed like she didnt want to be there. Ice cream/ custard is pretty good. Ive had a lot better. I had oreo and dark chocolate raspberry. The dark chocolate raspberry had a good flavor, but there were lots of ice crystals in it. Just not impressed after seeing all the cool things they advertise on social media.

Igloo has the best variety and flavors of cold treats. Their Bosco sticks and french fries are heavenly! The interior and exterior seating is always clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of the food portions are definitely not worth the money you spend. The taco salad was not nearly worth the over $7 that I spent. However, Igloo isnt meant to be a restaurant - it is an ice cream shop and that is what they do best!

Terrible customer service, it’s a couple kids running the place every time, the last two times I’ve been there they were just rude. They do have great breaded tenderloin sandwiches & awesome cherry coke. Other then that I wouldn’t order any other food off the menu, to overpriced for the quality of the food.

Great fruity drink

Great local diner/ice cream place. Typical diner food, with a lot of deep fried on the menu. Staffed with high school kids who have always been very pleasant, as opposed to some fast food chains staffed by high schoolers who would rather be anywhere else than at a place serving you food. Burgers are greasy and delicious. Tenderloins are a staple. The fries are the best. About the size of the fries at Wendys, but they have this crunchy crust that makes them my favorite fry around.

Best Coke in town!I had to change from 4 stars because they have changed something in the coke, the mix isnt right and tastes more like carbonated water with a splash of coke. I quit going there.Update: 9/27/19I stopped for a Coke the other day and it was wonderful again! They must have changed the mix back or something. Im happy!

Were new to the area and visited yesterday.As soon as we walked through the door the girl at the cash wrap looked at us and walked away. No one greeted us or asked us if we were ready/needed help ordering. The staff just continued to go about their conversation.The custard was okay, but my boyfriends milkshake was literally vanilla custard straight from the machine and whipped cream on top. :( hoping for better service next time.

I recommend going to dairy Queen. Dairy Queen is cheaper than the igloo.

Expensive! My co-worker ran there to get us lunch and I gave her a $10, expecting quiet a bit of change back since all I was getting was a cheeseburger and fried pickles. Not only was the cheeseburger cheese-less, it was dry and the bun crumbled. The fried pickles were ok (small portion), but they were $4 and I was charged $.50 for ranch - ridiculous. For just those 2 items, my bill came out to be $9.06 after tax. Wont be making that mistake again....

Our food just wasnt good. The burger was nearly burnt and chewy patties. Really skimpy on the toppings. Hardly any coney sauce on our coney. Onion rings were burnt as well. The custard is good but skip everything else.
