Andrea Gray, is not only an experienced and well informed Audiologist, she is kind, patient and a wonderful listener. Andrea has spent much time with me on a particular issue I deal with and never looses her calm. Ive worn hearing aids for many years provided by several different offices. I was unreservedly recommended to the Lafayette Hearing Center by a friend who is a current patient. My experience there over the past several weeks has been by far the most satisfying and successful Ive encountered. The staff is very professional and capable, providing information and scheduling in support of the audiologists. Molly Merten made the examination of my condition, and the selection, configuration, and tuning of my new instruments very pleasant and efficient. She was attentive to my needs, providing answers and appointments and follow-up phone calls as needed during my first few weeks with my new hearing aids. The Centers business model is very open and no-pressure when discussing hearing aid options, providing a generous trial period during which new instruments can be tuned as often as needed, exchanged, or finally not chosen if improvements are not realized. Now, like my friend before me, I would highly recommend Lafayette Hearing Center for those considering hearing aids for the first time, and for those experienced users needing to upgrade.

Lafayette Hearing Center is awesome. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Dr. Molly is patient and very kind. She helped me figure out which hearing aids would work best for me - even let me try out different ones. Then after I had decided on some and put a deposit down, I got information from my new insurance company that if I went thru their provider, it would save me almost $3,000. When I told Dr. Molly that I was going to go with another provider because of insurance, she was very gracious and understanding. They gave me my money back and said they were there if I ever needed them. I wish they were a provider for my insurance company. I highly recommend them!

My cousin told me that she had a great experience with Andrea Gray so when I needed hearing aids, I went to her. I had fantastic service. The best part is that she actually listens to you and then takes that into consideration to make your hearing aids especially for you. My husband got his hearing aids at other place, but she also helped him. She took as much time each visit to make them feel better and also helped me with the app on my phone for the hearing aids.

I do not normally review things as it is somewhat difficult for me to articulate and type my thoughts at times. HOWEVER, I am gladly willing to describe the wonderful experience I have had with Andrea Gray over the past several months.I was diagnosed with a Vestibular Schwanomma on the right side of my brain this past June (2020). The benign tumor was putting pressure on the 8th cranial nerve in my brain causing significant hearing loss in my right ear. In addition, I have deficits from previous brain surgeries and treatments which makes my case a difficult one to treat.Since July, 2020, Andrea and the staff have worked to provide me the best care and hearing equipment to allow me to have a better quality of life, in addition to significant improvements to help my work career as an IT Engineer working remotely due to the Covid crisis.Since my hearing fluctuates due to the treatments I received for the tumor, Andrea continues to monitor and adjust my hearing devices and hearing programs for them in order to provide consistency in my hearing as my physical symptoms and hearing levels respond to the treatment.In short, I cant thank them enough for their support and treatment!

My 93-year-old mother wedged the battery into her hearing aid and it couldnt be retrieved. It was during the holidays and the office was closing for several days but Susie quickly replaced the battery and the cage and saved mom from several days of not being able to hear. Made our holidays much more pleasant. Highly recommended.

Im so pleased with my care there and dont even mind the drive from Crawfordsville. That is really saying something because I live about a 3 minute drive from a well thought of audiologist in town. My dad is 90 and is hearing impaired. I googled hearing centers and Lafayette Hearing Center came up with 28 Google Reviews, 27 with a 5 rating and 1 with a 4 rating. Outstanding! I immediately called them to make an appt but they were booked through the following week, and I was only in town for 2 more days before returning to my home in Virginia and I really wanted to accompany my dad on this important situation. Shana answered and politely said we’re totally booked the rest of this week but let me look into it and I’ll call you back either way. I was blown away that she would even offer to look at possibilities for me! The next day, Thursday, Shana called to say that they close at 4:30 on Friday but come in at 5:00 and we will see your dad after hours! Not only was it after hours on a Friday night, but it was also Memorial Day weekend! Andrea Gray, Audiologist, spent 2 hours with us, until 7:00pm that Friday evening, and did an absolutely exceptional job for us! Talk about going beyond the call of duty! This is unparalleld customer service, and Andrea is on top of her game, with 20 years of audiology experience and a Bachelors and Masters in Audiology from PU! Don’t even think of going to anyone else for your hearing issues! This business is exceptional in every respect.

My husband got hearing aids this spring and Jo B. is our LHC person. We are delighted with the service and the friendliness and the quality of the hearing aids. The iPhone app is a huge learning curve and Jo is helping us a lot.

I am absolutely delighted with my hearing and the entire experience at Lafayette Hearing Center. My hearing loss came on so gradually, I was not aware of the emotional toll it was taking in my life. I might even say I feel younger now. I am not constantly asking people to repeat what they said or asking the person next to me, What did the speaker say? I can hear all the comments at book group and I can hear my grandchildren without asking for many repeats. The hearing aids are comfortable, easy to manage and easily worth every penny. Dr. Susan fit my dad with hearing aids. Its amazing the difference his new ears have made in our whole familys life. If youre having trouble with your hearing, or if you think you might need hearing aids, I strongly recommend a visit to the Lafayette Hearing Center. You wont find a nicer group of people or a more professional group of audiologists. Ive been a patient of Dr. Susan for over five years; shes great!Im technically inclined, so Dr. Susan has helped me with aids that work with my iPhone (I hear my phone calls in both ears using Bluetooth with my aids). A special setup with my TV allows me to hear much better while not blasting out my wife or guests. They also helped me get a captioning telephone for my home phone.You *can* cope with hearing loss, communicate with the rest of the world, and continue to enjoy life. These are the people who can help you get there!

Lafayette Hearing Center provides all the services one expects and MORE!! As we have faced the difficulties of hearing loss, the doctors have worked with us to solve all of our problems from hearing in restaurants to streaming audio directly to our hearing aides. They are the best!!

I have enjoyed the wonderful service with Dr. Mary and her associates for more than 20 years. I have a profound loss that Arnett gave up on and sent me to DR. Mary. I found a home there. As my loss deepened, they have always been able to find a solution and keep me a useful (sort of) member of society.An example of how they go beyond the bare minimums was how they helped my prospective wife understand just what she was letting herself in for. As I was contemplating remarrying, they suggested a meeting with my fiancé to discuss me! They explained to her the ramifications of living with a profoundly deaf person, both with and without his aids. They even hooked up some equipment to give her a sample of what I hear.Thats providing service.
