Overall happy with my purchase. Frustrated about how my wheel concerns were handled. I was referred to a 3rd party but they didnt have anything that would work for me due to costs and appearance. I would have preferred to have new wheels put on at the dealer and added to the financing. I had already put down a great deal of money and didnt want to have to buy the wheels out of pocket after the fact. I was offered a discounted price on a wheel and tire package but it was more than I was willing to pay after buying a $75K truck. I really feel the dealer could have done a better job of addressing my concerns both before the deal was done and after. They should have been able to discount the wheels and tires down to a reasonable price especially after they just made all the money of the sale of the truck.I do believe they thought they had addressed everything but I was left with a truck with wheels I didnt like. I ended up buying new wheels and tires from another party at a lower price. For only a couple hundred dollars they could have fixed this. Instead I had to fix the problem myself.
I scheduled my appointment for inspection last week for my 2021 Acadia. I was told it would take less than an hour since the vehicle has such low mileage,etc. I dropped the car off at 10, was asked a recommended time for pick up. I told them by 11:15. I had not received a call but returned at 11:15 assuming it would be done shortly. My husband left to pick up our daughter at Pre-K (which I thought I would be available to do). When I was greeted at the service office they told me they were working on it now. Sat in the waiting room for approximately 20 minutes. An employee came to get another customer and informed me my headlight needed replaced, it would be another half hour. I informed my husband who works swing shift and was going in for his night shift that night(and should be sleeping), that I would be home later than expected but soon. I continued to wait while the waiting room cleared out of other customers, including one who walked in inquiring about service. He waited for a bit and was out of there way before me as well. After no other updates, I saw my car pull into the pick up area at 1:15. The only explanation I received was that it took a bit for headlight alignment.I understand that problems arise and the work can only be done in the time necessary to do so. I only wish that I was better informed on wait times so I could have prepared better or taken advantage of the shuttle service from the dealership.The light under the tailgate has been malfunctioning as well. I notified them of this when I made the appointment last week. It seems they don’t have a replacement bulb, so I will need to return to have this replaced.In addition, when scheduling the appointment, I informed them that we purchased our vehicle last December and found it odd that our inspection sticker was for October. The employee agreed that they should’ve updated that. No discount was applied to remedy this. Not only did I lose time waiting on an inspection appointment, I also lost 2 months on my inspection sticker.I am not one to complain or cause a stir ordinarily but this experience not only disrupted my day but also my husband’s sleep for his 12 hour shift.
I walked around just looking at the selection of trucks. No salesman ran up to me and pressured me into buying anything. I found a truck that I liked. I walked inside, Alex introduced himself to me and I said I wanted to look at the 2500 AT4. He said certainly, grabbed the keys. The entire time we looked at the truck, he didnt pressure me into anything, but he also answered every question that I had. I enjoyed working with Alex. I will most certainly be back in the future.
I was able to schedule the appointment for the time that worked best for me. Service was completed in time expected. Waiting area was comfortable and friendly.

Had an appointment scheduled to purchase a vehicle that I drive over 2 hours for. Got to the dealership and just asked to do a test drive prior to doing paperwork. 15 min later we get back from the test drive and find out they sold the vehicle while I was on the test ride. Never heard of this and felt betrayed. Little effort to fix things and make things right. Very displeased with the sales manager. The only positive outlook was the salesman I dealt with felt the same way I did.

I would like to say it was the first time I was buying a new car using the GM family first discount maybe a little more education on how that process works so people can get the code in advance since online does not allow and it must be mailed I ended up waiting extra days once my truck was already delivered and in the parking lot would have been nice to know the steps needed in advance.

To begin, I want to say, trying to find a truck with the options I desired was not easy! After much online research, I was able to find four trucks that I did desire within a five hundred mile radius of my home. One of those four was the truck I found at Jones Buick GMC. My experience with the sales department and their knowledge of the GM product as well as the service department with their knowledge of the remote start I purchased with my new truck was very professional! A miscommunication concerning the rules and regulations of a factory incentive I wanted to take advantage of was experienced during the negotiations, the situation was handled professionally and the sales staff was very apologetic.

Why don’t customers trust service departments at dealerships? Because they lie constantly. Case in point…I dropped my ride off for annual inspection and was told that my tires were ready to be replaced. Only one problem..they were just put on in May 2021 less than 5,000 miles on them. They measure 9/32 all around. This is why you can’t trust the service dept here. Shameful upselling. Do not trust!

I would give them a 0 if I could. Customer service is terrible. Plus they over charge.Brought car in on a Wednesday for a repair appointment that was scheduled for Thursday. We told them we needed car back by 3:00pm on Thursday. Was assured it would not be a problem. On Thursday around 11:30am I had not heard anything about the repair to I decided to check on the progress. Was told the service manager dealing with our repair was gone to lunch and he would return my call when he returned. I waited until 1:30pm and had not received a phone call from dealer so I decided to call again. This time I was told that the service manager was busy and he would call me back. I waited until 2:30pm. Still no phone call from dealer. By this time I know my car wont be ready by 3:00pm. This time I finally got hold of service manager and was told the mechanic was fixing the problem now and it would be fixed within the hour. 15 minutes later the service manager called back saying they need to order parts. The repair would cost me $560. So much for saying they could have the repair completed on time. I told them not to touch it.Next day I made an appointment with Faulkners Chevrolet. They made the repair in 20 minutes and it only cost me $78

Everything went very well with the dealership. But I bought a car which is called Hunter Green by GMC. It is not green. It is gray and all my friends and other people agree. The GMC official website shows a dark green car very clearly which does not look anything like the car I purchased. Did they use the wrong paint for my car?
The service was excellent! After contacting GM directly, I was able to file a case for my vehicle and was recommended to Jones. They listened to my concerns and prior experiences with other dealerships and what I learned from it. They were able to effectively take care of my car and replaced the part that was causing issues. I was put in touch with Brady Stout in the used car department when I called about a 2013 Ford Taurus that was up for sale. His loyalty to the Jones Dealership is absolutely unquestioned in expressing the quality of the business and the cars it sells. He had a good route planned out, including crossing a set of railroad tracks, that showed the capabilities of the car, and demonstrated a very detailed knowledge of that car.Brady took the time to answer or get answers for all my questions, and worked to get an excellent deal for me. At the end of June my wife and I looked at a used 2009 Pontiac Vibe at Jones Buick as present to our son who recently graduated from College. At my first visit, I asked to test drive the car and was told I couldn’t take it on the road because the car needed some service done, including work related to safety reason. The salesperson stated that the work would be completed and included as part of the purchase price. The car needed a valve cover gasket, an oil pan gasket, front sway bar links replacement and a PA safety and emission inspection. I figured, after this work/service done it would be a decent first car for my son. Without having the chance to test drive the car, Jones Buick requested a hefty $1,000 deposit before completing the service work on the vehicle and needed a commitment to buy. I’ve never seen this before in my life, anywhere, not even at used car dealers.I talked to the salesperson again and was reassured that Jones Buick would provide the service worksheet for my benefit and was told that all services will be done professionally without “Playing Games”. After a second visit to look it over again with my wife, we decided to commit and purchase the car assuming the car would be repaired and serviced as agreed. After we paid the $1,000 deposit, the car was ready for pickup after a week, despite the salesperson mention of just a couple days.On the day we picked up the car, we were then allowed to drive it on the road. The car displayed a significant shake at the steering wheel and brake pedal. I then told the salesperson that the brakes should be replaced. He replied that their mechanics had concluded that nothing was wrong with the brakes and that the car was safe and had passed safety inspection “With Flying Colors”.After we had paid cash for the car and stated that the car was not safe due to the terrible shakes, we had no other choice but to drive home. The following day I took it to my local mechanic to perform a thorough inspection of the steering and brake components. He concluded that the front rotors were warped or “out-of-round” is the right terminology. He stated that the car should have never been allowed to be driven this way and that no reputable shop would have passed this inspection. The fact that Jones Buick put my son’s safety and his life at grave danger makes me very upset.The bottom line here is that Jones Buick are engaging in shady practices by passing inspection of their used car knowingly that the vehicles are unsafe. This also makes me question the integrity of the other work/services they performed on the car I had just purchased from them.I am now out of pocket another $325 for new brakes that Jones Buick specifically stated didn’t need to be done and for which they passed the safety inspection knowing the vehicle was unsafe to be driven while jeopardizing the life of my son.I will never deal or recommend this dealer to anyone, and I have lodged a complaint with the BBS about the shady practices Jones Buick is engaged with regards to safety inspection. This dealer is not honest, has no integrity and do not care about your safety.
I was very pleased with the transparency of the purchase. Dakota and Jeff were very professional and most of all they presented their best pricing upfront. No other GMC dealership from PA to MD to Virginia was willing to match the price when giving the opportunity. This is my wifes vehicle so as they say.....a happy wife is a happy life!

If you are a resident of Pennsylvania I would not hesitate to purchase a vehicle from Jones. The salesman Alex I worked with was great and the deal was very good. However if coming from out of state to purchase, be aware they use a company called regusa to process your title and registration in your state and then wash their hands of the process. I purchased a truck in July and now almost 3 months later I have no title or registration for the truck and temp tag is now expired. I have contacted the salesman that I worked with and all I am told is that it is being processed and they cant give me a contact number for regusa or get any info from the company because of privacy issues. I contacted my state DMV and was told they have no record of it and they would need to know what DVM office the paperwork was sent to. They cant even give me that info, again because of privacy issues. Very frustrated because I am now driving an untitled unregistered truck. Thank goodness the police are being understanding. Oh and I forgot to mention this is a service that you pay for them to process your title and registration!!!!!!!!Upgrading from 1 star to 4. Would have been 5 stars if not for incompetent regusa company they use for out of state registrations.

My husband and I just bought a car today with Kirk Newcomer! Amazing experience! We love our new to us used 2012 Highlander! Prior to even seeing the car, we reached out via email on a Sunday about the vehicle we were interested in since there was no pictures posted of it yet since it had just arrived. Kirk emailed pictures to us first thing Monday morning. We planned to come see the vehicle Thursday, today. Kirk made sure that the car was nicely detailed prior to our trip up to see the vehicle. On arrival to the dealership, Kirk met us right outside and pulled the vehicle right up for us. We took a nice test drive, including highway and side roads to ensure we were really able to see how the car drove. At no point during the process did we feel pressured into buying or hassled about anything, which is a nice change from normal dealership experiences. The whole process was painless! I was in search of a car and the Buick Encore was on my target list. The sales consultant, John McDonald, assisted me by showing me all of the features in great detail and providing me with options for a test drive. He was extremely patient with me throughout the process and didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond to ensure my questions were answered as I evaluated my options. I didn’t ultimately purchase the Buick Encore and when I communicated this to John, he wasn’t pushy and didn’t try to convince me that the Buick was the best choice for me. I appreciated that his response was courteous and supportive for the direction I chose. John did a good job building rapport and trust throughout the process!
An amazing experience with this dealership. My salesman Kirk was very knowledgeable about the particular vehicle that i was interested in. That aspect is rare these days. I was at another dealership where the salesman had to continuously refer to another source to get answers, but not Kirk. He was patient and answered all of my questions immediately. He also got me the price i wanted for my trade. An expert looked at the truck when i brought it home, this was my neighbor who is a professional body shop guy who was shocked at the cleanliness of the truck. He sees used vehicles every day from dealerships and said that this is very rare. Once the deal was done Kirk had the behemoth size gas tank filled before i left. Also they put on 4 new tires. A day later i received a phone call from a manager who said they forgot 1 piece of paper that i NEEDED to sign. This dealership is an hour away from me, so basically this was a huge hassle for me. So i drove back to sign the form and once signed Kirk had one of their employees take my truck to a gas station and topped it off. How way cool is that. My overall satisfaction with Kirk and this dealership is very impressive. The only complaint i have with them is that one of the options that did not come with this truck is to not make any payments. Apparently that option does not exist. Who knew.
From beginning to end my car buying experience at Jones was easy, and I never felt pressured. Had a tire replaced June of 2019 at a separate place. Brought my vehicle in 4600 miles later to Jones for inspection and they said I needed new tires because they failed inspection. One of the tires they replaced was the one that was replaced 6 months/4600 miles ago. How does that work out?I called 2 other garages and 2 tire specialty places and none of them could understand how this is possible.Response to owner:I believe you have been misinformed. 4 tires failed inspection was the message conveyed to me not three failed and one was close. The fact that the one was close was never disclosed.

I saw a vehicle on line and text with a representative. I told them I would be there the next day between 9 and 10am. I got a call from a salesperson while I was driving. I told him I was 10 minutes away. He told me the vehicle was parked out front any ready to be looked at when I got there. When I arrived the salesperson drove off with someone else. I waited about 30 minutes for him to return then I left. I drove about 40 miles to look at this particular vehiclethey knew I was coming, but I was suppose to sit and wait!! No thanks. Won’t be returning and won’t recommend to anyone. UPDATE: the following day I received a phone call from a sales manager. he expressed his concerns, as did i, he understood that i was upset. he was very understanding and wanted to do his best to correct the situation. i will say Jones Buick went over and beyond what needed to be done and we did purchase the car. Turns out to be a great car and we are completely satisfied. A special thanks to their sale Rep Dakota. Thanks to everyone for making this happen!!!
** Don the service director called me after my incident with my Terrian. He advise that he could work with GMC and sometimes they will help cover items that are recently out of warranty. ( which was the case with my timing chain 2 mos) Don contacted them and they agreed to cover 50% of the repairs. Not only did he do that but our family was without a vehicle for 17 days. ( due to the holiday it took awhile for GMC to get back to Don) He offered a vehicle for us to use. By far the best customer service I have ever received, Don kept in contact with us and explained everything. We are not replacing my car right away but when we do, both my husband and I agreed we want to go to GMC of Lancaster because of the service we received from Don.I currently own a GMC, and my timing chain broke. I spoke to a serviceman there and was advise that my warranty expired in April and that timing chains are not covered under power train. ( which they are I spoke to GMC directly) When I told him my husband was able to confirm the chain was broken his only recommendation was to have my husband replace it. He also advise that this would have been maintenance, which under the maintenance schedule there is no recommendation to replace the timing chain. ( I have 79k on my vehicle) I know timing belts/chains are usually recommended around 100k. It seems since we didnt buy our GMC through them directly they did not want to provide much service to us. I called GMC directly to see if there was anything that could be done and customer service did say to speak to a customer experience manager there to see if they could offer any process assistance. But at this point I rather take my business elsewhere and in the future I will not look to purchase any vehicle from them since service does not seem to be a priority.
When my husbands car basically died on him, Kirk Newcomer was ready for us to come in the next morning to help us begin our new car search. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS A SCAM! I took my car there to have it serviced and I authorized them one hour to diagnose the car. They told me if it needed ANYTHING more than an hour they would call me to tell me. The car needed three hours worth of diagnostics and they tried to charge me for 3 hours of labor for a Blown fuse.... If you don’t know cars don’t take your car here they will rip you off!And no, I didn’t pay for three hours I only paid for one.
