Haven’t been there but just needed to ask but do you fix model 1708 Xbox controllers mine doesn’t work anymore? Also can you replace the back piece mine is missing? I need to know before I go to give my broken Xbox controllers.

I have been going to A.V Retro games for years. It all started with Eyad repairing my laptop. Havent stopped going to him since. This store is addicting as its a nostalgic experience for me. We drive from Santa Clarita to this new location in Lancaster worth the drive. We love retro games everything from the super nintendo, Nintendo 64, to newer systems. They carry games, gaming systems, gaming merchandise to anime figurines. I trust Eyad with device repair and getting the best prices for all the items they carry. Thank you Eyad and A.V Retro employees you guys are amazing. Amazing customer service, great prices and very well organized inside.

Great guy who explained everything to me and a nice female who worked the register. Cool store with all of old school goodies and new school goodies. It took one week for them to check out my Nintendo switch and determine what was wrong with it. I was fine with the one week. The ONLY reason i gave them 4 out of 5 stars was because the price for repair was high. I called 2 other places and was quoted cheaper. Then i called Nintendo customer service and was also quoted something else. I would definitely shop there and take other things for repair because there the most popular place in AV to do repairs but i will definitely price compare 1st.

They have some PS VITA GAMES & PSP games that we were looking for. The prices are reasonable. Cashier fellow is really helpful. Awesome customer service skills. This employee should get some kind of gift for doing a wonderful job. This is fellow deserves a raise. Thank you so much AV RETRO.. 👍🏻

Nice store, very friendly and helpful staff but not the best quality. Came in for a screen replacement for my iPhone and it got replaced pretty fast. The new glass screen protector that I asked for had bubbles but I didn’t think it was a big deal. When I got home I noticed I had screen burn-in. If I stay on something for too long the images/words will be burned in on my screen, which is kind of annoying.Another thing is I have trouble waking my screen by tapping on it. Sometimes it works but other times I have to use my side button to do so.Few weeks go by and I dropped my phone from like 2 feet up high. The screen protector didn’t crack but my screen did even with a good case. In conclusion, it was very cheap ($80) but I would’ve rather paid more for a better, more durable screen.

This place is super cool! Lots of old games, newer games, game accessories, game-themed items, and several other services. The person who attended to us was super nice, patient, and helpful. The store had good safety measures: you have to wear a mask, theres a limited time you can be in the store, and theres a limited amount of people allowed in at once. I would definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out!

Came to this store about 3 weeks ago. Since the day I entered I asked for a ps2. I was told they needed to be tested an cleaned. I checked up on the progress each week now its been almost 1 month now. 1st week he told me they needed to be tested the next week he told me they needed to be cleaned..an I came back today an he told me they needed to be tested again!! Sad to say I have to resort to find one online... thanks for continuing to disappoint a fellow gamer an wasting my time AV Retro games & computers

It is a bit overpriced but they still managed to fix my console. How ever, now the disc tray does not want to read disc which did not happen before.

They thoroughly tested and cleaned each game cartridge as I purchased it to make sure it will play just fine. First of all av retro is amazing. so many games they offer different repairs i would have to say they are number they recently repaired my Xbox one console for a reasonable price and threw in other parts that needed to be replaced to have console in correct working condition without charging me for it. i love this place seriously these guys are professional if i have any problems i will return to them in the future. i highly recommend these people A+ service thanks again av retro!!!! 💯

Older games and systems I was in heaven

Sold me a PlayStation and it happened to not work but matter of fact it’s an older console. I called over the phone and I’m happy I’m able to get the situation taken care of. I would’ve taken it in the next day The store was open after the purchase date but I had work everyday in the military, so the next time I was off, I was happy I’m able to get the situation taken care of. They sell consoles and everything at very reasonable prices. A 3DS went for $50 that’s amazing !!

Went in to buy fallout 3 for ps3, called ahead of time to ask if the game was available, they called me back 5 mins later to let me know they had it in and when I came in an hour later they had a copy waiting behind the desk for me. Game for being old and used was in good condition and works great so far with no issue.Staff was polite and knowledgeable. Thanks again

We tried to change our minds about an item we initially choose to not repair. We were told by the owner that he would charge us an additional labor fee just to reopen the order. Thievery in my opinion! You are better off doing business elsewhere.Update - it has been 4 hours since my post and the owner is vehemently insisting that this did not happen and that he never tried to charge an additional fee. If you visit yelp, you will find several instances of similar situations and instances of reported unprofessional behavior despite the 4 star rating.He has also since stated via facebook that he will not charge additional diagnostic fees for reopened invoices. If you go there - make sure your take him on that.Update - The owner sent me a message via google hangouts that he will no longer be fixing the controller and offered a refund of 20$ instead. Time will tell.

Lancaster, CA has a great retro video game store. Got myself SNES game here for a great price! Parking spots in the front are large, but tough to get. Recommend parking on the side of the building to get to the store quickly. They also do computer and cell phone repair.

My son took his PS4 console apart on his own and that was the first mistake. Took it in and Advised them that the console said it was overheating and not working. was informed of the multiple problems it had and even took pictures for me to see. Upfront, decent pricing and quick turnaround on service/repair done on the console. Will be back 👍👍

They fixed my Xbox but I felt it was quite expensive for one repair.

They fixed my laptop same-day and managed to help me find parts for my Dreamcast. Labor was well priced and they let me provide replacement parts myself so I could chose my own product!

Very low selection of games. The guy at the counter is knowledgeable. The games are over priced. Game cartridges are faded and they ask for top dollar. They seem to set their prices above ebay.

Started shopping here a few years ago and always go back. Best prices on retro games and best service. I have personally purchased 3 retro systems (NES, SNES and a N64) and they all worked great. Cool little place good service and pricing but my screen is a little janky. Got my screen fixed here on the iPhone 6s+ and it was cheap and fast but It sometimes pushes random buttons on the screen repeatedly and I’m not even touching it... not sure if it’s my phone or the new screen. It never did it before the new screen though so idk...

Fixed my iphone 4s screen for really cheap and it was really fast. The quality was as good as new. they also have a great inventory of ps3 games for cheap. overall i highly recommend them due to their quality of work and service.
