Go downtown Los Angeles on South Hill street and there are a dozens of jewelry stores with affordable 10k and 14k. 10k is only $23.00 dollars per gram, Google it. This place is overpriced and I’ve seen people try to sell back jewelry here they’ve bought or pawn and they offer them a fraction of what they paid. The staff are nice and cordial. The only thing I dislike is that they recently changed their policy. If you are getting your merchandise out they are only accepting cash. If you are paying off the interest, they will accept a debit card. I didnt know that until I came in to get my merchandise.That is an inconvenience to me because I feel most people dont carry a lot of cash on them anymore.

I been too every single pawn shop in the lancaster palmdale area and I can with great confidence tell you platinum is the best. There employees have character, One of them I know came from living in his truck too being a employee here for about 4 years. Which says they have employee of sympathetic nature. They will work it out with you. And Treat you with respect. The security guard there is the kindest gentlemen you could possibly hope too greet you at the door. He has been working there for the sake of his family. And Has a heart of gold. Please pay him respect. And show him some kindness.

My husband and I have been customers for pawn, and purchases at Platinum. We also pawn at another pawnshop because we only have trusted the two including platinum until a few months ago. We are “Pawners” that go right back the very next month to get our sentimental jewelry items. We only pawn these items as a last resort so we are expecting a a fair loan price. With that said.. I love the way they ask ME the prices what I would accept and 9 out of 10 they match what I ask. The staff are very friendly all the way down to the greeter/security officer at the door.
