I had a ring sized at Veleska. What a wonderful experience!! First let me say the staff could not be nicer or more friendly. It took a matter of minutes to find my correct size and place the order. They said it would be ready in 2 weeks but most likely would be sooner. It was ready in 3 days!!Now the best part. I picked up my ring and my mouth dropped open not only did it fit perfectly but it was simply gorgeous. It had not been worn in some time and now it sparkles like a disco ball. I just love it. I took a brief look at the jewelry due to time I had to leave but based on what I saw I will be back.Add to all that it is a Woman’s business I am in!!!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I had some family rings that had seen better days and I hoped to combine their stones into one piece of jewelry. I made an appointment with Kathryn at Veleska to see what ideas she might have. I really loved the unusual design of the one ring but its setting had collapsed. Kathryn was able to combine the other ring’s stone with the stones from that ring and designed a more updated looking setting while keeping the general design I loved. Small stones were added to enhance the design. She was able to show me a general mock up of the ring before I left the appointment. Less than a week later she sent me a plot of the casting for approval and less than two months later I picked up the beautiful custom ring! I loved it even more than I thought I would. My wedding ring from 53 years ago needed help. I took it to Veleska Jewelry for rehab. They were friendly, efficient and totally understood what I wanted and needed done to my ring. I went to Valeska Jewelry because I live on the east side of town and was looking for a jeweler to reset my diamond engagement ring. The staff was very friendly and Katherine assured me of what needed to be done. Since I was leaving on a trip she made an extra effort to get my ring back to me before we traveled. Although I had some trouble with the setting a few weeks later, she was very willing to correct the problem without making any additional charge. I am pleased with their service and commitment to quality and will return for future work or gifts.

I made a telephone inquiry about getting my grandmothers wedding rings resized so I could wear them. The lady who answered was condescending and even laughed out loud at me because I didnt know what type of gold bands were made of. I got off the phone as quickly as I could and will be taking my jewelry needs elsewhere.

I called and asked if they have jewelry featuring frogs, and sure enough, they do! When I showed up, they had a nice little tray of froggies set aside for me. I picked the ones I liked, and the person I gave them to as gifts loved them! One of the froggies had a match that I didnt buy, but the Jeweler set it aside just in case I can come by later and add it to the one I have and get them made in to earrings. Nice place, excellent service!
