After an unhappy experience with another optometrist, I needed a good doctor and new glasses. Found both at Clarkson. Good atmosphere - seems everyone works together well. Dr. Estes knows what to look for in older eyes. I feel confident in him. The new glasses I ordered were reasonably priced (not overpriced like the last place I went to), and worked well. I am quite happy with this place, and will be coming back every year for a check up & future glasses.

I have learned that it is just as important to have an excellent Optician as it is to have an excellent Optometrist. My previous vision office had a good Optometrist but a poor Optician who made mistakes in ordering my glasses that required re-dos. Some Opticians are not licensed or well trained. I found that Adrian, the licensed Optician at Clarkson Lansing, was very knowledgeable and thorough; he had creative ideas and helpful suggestions; and he answered all my questions..

I love this office and the service they provide. Very friendly and helpful. I use them for all my eye wear needs. Dr. Paul Kennedy is an awesome caring doctor who likes to make sure you are happy with the products recommended. Thanks guys!

Everyone I encounter at this office is friendly, polite, competent, and efficient. In all position, each is very skillful. I travel 45 miles after I moved 20 years ago to stay with Dr. Estes and this office. I highly recommend them.

I have a 40 plus year relationship with an outstanding Optometrist, Dr. Richard Carrigan, I have entrusted my vision care to him for more than half of my life. I heartily recommend Dr. Carrigan to anyone interested in superlative eye care.

I have had my appointment scheduled for a week. I am driving from Flint because this is my old office. Today I left and hour ahead of time and hit construction as well as an accident traffic, both out of my control. As soon as I realized I would be a little behind (Im easily out of Genesee country at this point) I called to let them know I was running 5 to 10 behind and Becky on the phone was extremely rude. I tried to explain the situation that I was coming from Flint and she said he had a busy schedule so if I was more than 10 minutes late theyd have to reschedule so I just had to turn around because I couldnt guarantee it.Im very disheartened and crying. Ive been wearing the same glasses for over two years because of covid and they give me a headache.. I cant find anywhere that accepts my insurance in flint so I figured why not go where I had a good experience last time but I will absolutely never be back now.

Excellent place for your eye care, they have the latest technology in eye care, Richard Carrigan, O.D. is the Dr. I see and he is excellent

Ordered new glasses for my wife after an eye appointment and was assured that they would be ready within a week for pick up. After not hearing from anyone for two weeks we called and they said it would be another week. So we waited, called back a week later and the same answer oh it’ll be another week or two. Going on almost 2 months now and every time we call they have the same excuse and the same answer. While the optometrist we saw was great, the customer service is an absolute disgrace and if we ever get the glasses we will not be returning there ever again.

I was able to get an appointment the same week that I scheduled it so I appreciated that. Dr Kennedy was very friendly and made my appointment comfortable, quick & easy !

Was supposed to get a contact fitting, but didn’t because I was wearing contacts he (Estes) said and felted rushed, I didn’t argue but I know I was supposed to get contacts. Scammers.

I love this place. I brought my 5 year old son in for his first appointment and was pretty nervous for him because he is on the spectrum and sometimes things that are easier for others are a little challenging for my little guy. However Dr. Carrigan was absolutely great. He was patient, he was kind and he was thorough. The check in staff was pleasant, and the building is very clean. If you want good quality care I highly recommend going to Optometrists of Lansing and I hope you are lucky enough to see Dr. Carrigan because he really is just awesome.

Love going there. They are always friendly and they are very helpful. They also are one of the few offices that will fill your glasses with Mclaren health Care. If you wear contacts and loose them, they can give a pair until your new sets come in. Glasses take only 2-3 weeks to come back from the labs and they have a wide range of glasses for you to choose from.

Terrible customer service. Was lied to and treated awfully. Will never return to this business. Absolutely terrible.

I have always received excellent care from Dr. Carrigan, all the office staff and technicians. This is a friendly office run by efficient and helpful people. Dr Marton and Optometrists of Lansing Staff have traveled the maturing eyes road with my husband and I decade by decade helping with healthy guidelines for eyes that spend a lot of time on computers, eye glasses selection, prescription changes, etc. I recommend them highly to friends and family. Our daughter who yet doesnt need glasses benefits from yearly exams to insure her eye health. Know they are staffed to support any eyesight obstacles we may still face going forward.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carrigan for twenty plus years and would highly recommend the Optometrists of Lansing. In fact I recently recommended my own son to them and he is very satisfied.

I have been a patient of Dr. Estes for almost 10 years and have always recommended this office to others until today. They billed me for something that my insurance didnt cover, in which they should have checked with the insurance first and let me know before hand that it wasnt covered. Then I was told if I made payment arrangements they would see my daughter, but when my daughters appointment came they refused to see her and told my mom they had already done my family a favor, the staff was mocking a caller on the phone and just being all around unprofessional and rude. Unfortunately I am so disgusted by their customer service that I will no longer be a patient there.

I always have a good experience with the optometrists. Dr. Carrigan has been my regular optometrist for probably 25 years and he ALWAYS explains everything to me in ways I can understand and makes the time to do a thorough examination.

Great staff that helped me with a small eyeglass problem

I have been going to Optometrists of Lansing for more years than I can recall. Dr. Carrigan is a consummate professional - and has a sense of humor, to accompany his professional approach! I have been happy with everything they have done and they helped me through a difficult time of problems with my retina when I was recovering from some fairly heavy chemo meds.I have also thoroughly enjoyed the frame choices they provide and the service of their professionals in the optical department - Anna, who is now retired, and Adrian, are great!
