I purchased my 2009 Murano from Clear Lake Nissan over 13 years ago. I wasn’t too impressed with their service department at the time so I stopped using them. Had my car towed there a couple of weeks ago since I wasn’t sure what was wrong with it and knew they could fix it. Jen kept me updated on the progress of the car the entire time. Once it was diagnosed, I received a detailed video on what was wrong and suggestions by the mechanic on what needed to be done. I then received a text with each item and cost and was able to choose the items I wanted done. When I went to pick it up, Jen was able to find me $800 in coupons she applied to the final bill! A couple of days later, the parts department called and told me I was overcharged $53 and credited that amount to my credit card. I had an excellent experience with Clear Lake Nissan and was impressed with their overall professionalism!

After my check engine light and power reduction warnings came in, I was forced to tow my Titan Diesel XD to Clear Lake Nissan knowing nothing about them. From the get go my experience was great. I arrived after service closed (6 hour tow) and the lady was very nice, helpful and professional. She took my key and said service would call me in the morning. Clay reached me at 7:30 am to tell me he had my truck and would be calling back after his mechanic diagnosed it the next day. Clay called me back the same afternoon, they had determined the defect, ordered the part (presently 2 week back order) and were working on a rental car for me. The next morning he called again, they had a car and I picked it up later that morning. Less than a week later Clay called to let me know my truck was fixed. I dropped off their rental and was out the door in 5 mins. Excellent work and service team. Five Star.

UNSCRUPULOUS!!!!!DONT BUY PRE-OWNED FROM THEM!!!I paid cash for a minivan that cant hold an alignment and only blows cold air intermittently.The management wont respond to my calls or emails. 👎🏿👎🏾👎🏼

They gave it back worse than it was. Charged $210 for an alignment and it drives worse. I didnt ask for an alignment, I asked for them to inspect for root cause. They obviously did not test drive it. Now I need to bring it back for more service

Used the service center to try to diagnose a problem and the only answer the technician could come up with for the $175 diagnostic fee was born of ignorance of the specs for the vehicle as sold by Nissan. I would expect better from a dealership service center.

This was the most unprofessional car dealership I have ever been to. We went to finance a car with a budget of 16k in August of 2020. I was shown several cars without telling me the price even though I asked what the price was. He would not tell me the price until after we drove it, which of course was way more than our initial budget. After being presented several offers that were ALL over budget, and after several hours, we decided to leave. Josh went and got the manager to thank us and he then tried to come out and negotiate with us after we repeatedly said no. Then, Josh tried to tell me to work with him when we were there to receive service. We left and never went back. This place and employees were so unprofessional and I would never purchase a car from here.

Typical car dealership... car salesman trying to be the nice guy and then the sales manager puts his spin on things. The salesman decided it was ok to stereotype my 20 year old daughter and explain why she couldnt afford the car she was looking at. Positive note she found the same car for $2000 less and only 7000 miles compared to there 39000 miles.

Not good I went in for a recall on my vehicle but on the way in I told them my wipers were bad my car came out and where they check wipers there was a check ✔️ they didnt even check my wipers the reason I know is cause there were pieces hanging of the wipers when I took it in

I have been a Clear Lake Nissan customer since 2015 on a lease agreement that I have with you and a few minutes ago I experienced an extremely unpleasant situation, one for which I find myself very upset. Today I brought my car at 4:54 pm to change the oil and filter and as usual, I parked in front of the service counters to wait for an employee to take the vehicle information (vehicles miles, etc). I waited for about 10 minutes and none of the employees present had the decency to ask the reason for my visit. Three service employees walked past me and didnt bother to ask or offer customer service. Seeing this unjustifiable attitude, I had to go to the dealers main counter to request assistance. Then another of the employees came out but I indicated that I was going to return tomorrow and I let him know my feelings about the situation. The employee started in an argument with me which I told him that I was not interested in further arguing with him. Honestly very bad customer service, and even worse, disrespectful employees who get into arguments with their customers. My leasing contract and that of my wife are about to expire in May and definitely after this unfortunate experience, I think I will not do any purchase / lease business with this dealer again.

This review has nothing to do with the gentleman that helped me he was very nice but with that being said I came for an oil change and a state inspection and was charged 143 dollars. Also saw multiple employees not wearing their mask and the cashier was wearing a sheer mask. It creates an unsafe environment for anyone who walks in.

As usual I am very pleased with the service dept. at Clear Lake Nissan. They keep my truck running and on the road. I really love the new inspection video that I was sent. Ill have that for my records. I got a new battery. Oil change. I also needed two more clickers programmed to my vehicle. I was in and out in 2 hours on a Saturday morning! Great job! Great service!

I managed to get my car to Clear Lake Nissan service department at 7 am Friday with a transmission problem. I had to drop it off and go back with a friend to a convention meeting. Doug called me a couple hours later to inform me of the repairs needed and that it was under warranty. He told me I could come pick up a loaner, which I used for one week, as I was traveling. The car was ready quicker, but thats when I could come back for it. Everything was No Charge because of the warranty. When I arrived, they had the car ready for me and I was on the road in no time.

Fair warning: always get a second opinion from another mechanic shop if you use Clear Lake Nissan. I knew it was a transmission issue and that I needed a new battery. They tried telling me that before they would diagnose the transmission I had to pay almost $900 for them to install a new starter. I got my car out of there and took it to El Dorado Shell (They ARE reputable) and they confirmed that yes, it was NOT the starter and was in fact needing a replacement transmission. When I contacted the service department and informed them of their mistake, they did not even bother to properly follow up with me or apologize. So if you want to avoid upselling, dishonest business practice dont take your car here.

Troy Tuscana was absolutely amazing! He was so helpful and explained everything in terms that I could understand. He was very patient with me, taking the time to listen to all of my questions (and there were many!!), making me feel very at ease. This was certainly not the experience that I expected going to the dealership, the service department no less, as a single woman. I have been to Gilman as well as other dealerships in the past, where I felt very much taken advantage of, and pushed into buying things that Im fairly certain I did not need, but Im sure that they were upsells to advisor. Troy did not treat me that way. He explained everything that they were going to try to diagnose based on my descriptions, told me what it could potentially be, and ultimately what the mechanics found and recommended. He told me very realistically what I could possibly wait on that was not urgent, because I told him I had some financial concerns. He then told me what needed to happen in the near future for my safety, and what I definitely needed that day, without pushing me into anything. He gave me time to think about it and again to talk to him and ask him a million questions, which he took the time to answer each one with kindness and professionalism. I am more than pleased with my experience! Troy went above and beyond any of my expectations! I will recommend Clear Lake Nissan to everyone that I know and will definitely tell them to go and see Troy Tuscana!! What a bright light in these trying times!

Update: they will leave comments telling you they will contact you about issues and then never do it. Definitely not up to par with Nissan dealers in other states.Ive had Nissan Versa for 5 years across 3 states. Always have taken it to a Nissan Services location to make sure all work was done as needed. They made sure my car worked and that I was at peace of mind.This location does none of that.I call with simple question and they tell me I have to bring the car in because they dont know if they have the items in stock. Every question I have is met with a dozen questions in an attempt to upsale my repair.I love Nissan, but I do not recommend this location.

They mislead me about the details of a credit card they signed me up for to make a down payment. They mislead me about when my first payment was due. They mislead me about the vehicle I am leasing saying it was an 8 seater when it’s a 7 seater. I’m currently wondering what else I may have been mislead on. After this lease I will most likely never use them again. Horrible experience.

He is very customer focus oriented and takes personal guarantee and responsibilities to ensure customer satisfaction. I drive a 2001 Frontier and he still treats it like a brand new car. In Summary: I had a terrible experience, I purchased a used FORD vehicle here. The check engine light came on a few days after and it went downhill from there. Luckily, I was strong armed into purchasing the extended warranty with the car and they did service it and the service was fast however in the end they did not fix the problem.So for the detailed experience read on..Dropping the car off was a breeze, they gave me a rental and said leave the keys and our used car service manager will call you (Brian I think?) tomorrow when he is back in, hes having a baby (congrats! but nobody else could help in his absence?)The car was then repaired without my consent, they called to say it was fixed a few days later and to come get it. Frankly I didnt fuzz as it was just bought I figured they were gonna fix it apologize and send me on my merry way...HA... When I show up I am asked for the rental keys and to give them a few while they get my car as they are washing it.. neat! 10 minutes go by and my car pulls up all nice and shiny.. the clerk goes your car is ready, how will you be paying?? Conveniently they took the rental back before this and now Im stuck here trying to figure out what happened, bounced around different people as they slowly left for the day... ultimately having to pay the warranty deductible to get my car back as they were about to close... and was told to check in with same guy(Brian again?) in the morning as only he could sort this out... they just couldnt help me. So at least the coverage worked, but I still would have liked to approve any repairs. I talked to the dude for the 1st time the next morning only for him to tell me he left a voicemail(I did not have said voicemail) explaining the issue and charges and we argued in a circle about it for 10-15 minutes, he was super rude too. until I basically hung up upset.THREE DAYS later, the check engine light came back on. I called them again, guy (Brian?) was still having a baby, great and congrats! but someone else should be manning the fort? right? nope. Four days of back and forth just missing him or the other service manager and eventually at the 4th day I finally drove there, and again my car salesman (the only helpful one there all along)put me in touch with the dealers manager whom I argued with over their Used Car certification and the lack of customer service as well as the existence of these extended warranties, he eventually passed me on to someone else assuring me they would take care of me, a service manager(Mario maybe?). This guy, the service manager(Mario?) told me since I had the coverage to just take it to a Ford because they (Nissan) didnt have the expertise to work on this vehicle...at this point I just walked off and have not looked back.I travel a lot so I had not had time to fix it and when I took it to a new shop they say its under warranty at Clear Lake Nissan so to go back there...You make your own decisions and maybe as long as you have a Nissan they are great, but careful buying used. I bought from them because they were reputable and I did my homework I test drove and looked at cars for3 weeks before settling with Clear Lake Nissan. I respected their reputation and my research and the fact I was buying a certified pre-owned vehicle specially after Harvey..Dont let my ONE car experience deter you but I would suggest doing your homework like I did and then do it again!Lastly, really, customer service should have nothing to do with the state of the car really and for that reason a lone I will NOT be returning here nor recommend them to anyone.
